Size Review XXS to Med. Size XXS too big for 3'3", 33lb g-daugh (petite 4 yrs). Armholes too low on body, length too long. Size Small fit 4', 53.5lb g-son (slim 7yrs).. Size Med too large for 4'5", 56lb g-daugh (very slim & tall 9yrs) Width very wide & length too long. Kept too large sizes for next year. Bright red good for Christmas photos. Color provides bright red warning to drivers if child in street.

Took this vest to Norway for some major hiking. Held up well, super comfortable and warm. Highly recommend.

We purposely bought a size up, and are pleased with the fit. It's held up well to the usual kid abuse. Juice spilt all over, kept him dry and shed the liquid pretty well. No sleeves and he got cold, he pulled his arms into the vest and was happy as a clam he figured out how to make it a blanket.

Bought the vest as a gift for someone, he loved it it's very warm but the only thing with the vest was that it runs big. I should have bought it a size smaller next time I know. Overall the quality is good.

My daughter loves this vest. It keeps her warm without all the bulk of a large sweater. It's been washed several times already and washes really well. The color is deep and vibrant and the fleece is super soft.

My son really wanted a fleece vest instead of down, and I was thrilled Columbia had one since we all wear the fleece jackets season after season. It's non-bulky when he wants a layer in school or under a ski coat.

This is a really nice vest. I ordered one for baby grandson and his 5 yr. old sister wanted one too! Baby doesn't like jackets with bulky sleeves, so this is great for him. I wonder why it has to be labeled "boy" though. It really is great for boys and girls, and there is nothing comparable in the "girls" section.
