Bought my Sabres last season. The fronts of the thighs already are wetting out with ease.
I quite like them for most days on the mountain, but when its coming down, they are not too functional.
They run a bit short in the standard length so its good they come in long length for us long legged folks.

Great fitting pant. A little too much material at leg cuff also. But will be a good pant when they figure out how to stop the leaking. Both thighs leak right through. Not waterproof at all. Sorry.

I really like the fit and they have proven to be durable enough. However, these pants simply aren't waterproof enough and that's the main reason I purchased them. Sitting on a wet seat in the cat all day or a chairlifts during a storm, I'm still soaking water through 3 layers to my skin.
Get the Stinger pant instead. They have GORE-TEX Pro which apparently offer a greater level of waterproofing.

I generally like these pants a lot, just like the many other Arc'teryx pieces I own. However they are the first product where I experienced a major flaw: After using them about ten times, the lamination of the "ultra durable" powder cuffs started to peel of in a zebra stripe pattern all over the inner face of both legs. So far this has not affected the pant's funtionality, but it looks ugly if roll up the cuffs and it is obvious that it will become an issue of waterproofness sooner or later.
Arc'teryx told me they will not repair it because the abrasion seems to result from my usage of the pant, for example the buckles from my ski boots rubbing against the cuffs. Yeah like I have buckles on all sides and all over my boots... In my eyes this is a (hopefully unique) material defect.

I have been skiing front and back country with these pants for 2 seasons. They were a gift. They are bomber, but in my opinion, the design has some flaws:
- The cuffs are way too big they are like bellbottom pants from the 70's. They often catch on my bindings during skinning, and when skiing lines with small hits the cuff will catch the brake on my opposite ski very irritating. They could easily be taken in by 2 or 3 inches. I talked to Arcteryx they don't do mod's like this.
- In keeping with the bellbottom theme, they are narrow through the thigh. The problem here is that the pockets are large and anything in them just jumbles up at the bottom of the pocket and digs into your leg (there are no pleats or space to expand outwards)
- The fuzzy fleece lining has a lot of friction on whatever you're wearing under them, so when skinning / hiking they tend to pull at each other
