I love these boots. They are very comfortable, but a little big (I ordered an 8½ which is my normal size, but I probably could have done an 8). I think with big socks they will be great. They have more of a heel than I thought when ordering and the toe is slightly larger than I thought too, but I love them. They are very comfortable and warm.

I absolutely love these boots. I wear between 7½-8 so I bought the 8 and they are perfect. I have gotten so many compliments on these boots even got stopped in grocery store to ask where I got them. They are very comfortable. I wore them all day tailgating and to a football game with no problems of my feet hurting. You will love them!

Love the boots. I'm a 7.5, went for 8 which fits comfortably. I found out how to get them on by opening the strap and then grabbing the strap from the inside side of my leg and pulling them on. I liked this color so much, but went with the olive colored boot instead. It was a tough decision since we're headed into El Nino and who says we don't need two pairs of boots?

I love these boots! I am a true/full size 10 and these just fit me in length. There's plenty of room width wise. It was a little challenging pulling them on the first couple times, but they broke in that way, no problem! Overall, they are quite comfortable! I got the nori color which I love. The leather is pretty, and it is weatherproofed, as I got a couple drops of water on them that didn't leave marks. My first pair of Sorels and not my last!

I ordered these shoes in a couple of sizes. I normally wear a 7.5 but ordered both a 7.5 and an 8 just in case. I should have ordered a 7 because they ran a little long. I have narrow and low-volume feet, and even though these were "slimmer" Sorels, my feet were still swimming in them and slipped out even with thick socks on. I returned the shoes because of the width and volume; they would not have been comfortable for me even to take a short walk in.

For reference I usually wear a 10 or 10.5 and my best fit is with a Narrow. I do NOT have much of an arch at all so slipping my foot into the boot is no issue. I did need a size 11 though, I also added a sheepskin foot pad for warmth.

So...I listened to the reviews on here and ordered a 7 when I know my 6.5 Tivoli by Sorel fits perfect. Now, I am sending this pair back to get the 6.5. They do not run small. Order these true to size. NOT difficult to get on, not poorly designed. But who knows, maybe with a smaller size I will be saying something different. Also, keep in mind the "lining" is just that- lining and will add no warmth to this boot if that is what you are looking for.

I treat these boots like rain boots, rather than fashionable winter boots. I wear my rain boots slightly larger, with wiggle room, which is why I don't mind these fitting so loosely. I had to go a size up from my normal size in order to get my foot into this boot. Even so, when I wear anything thicker than a regular cotton sock, I have to wrestle my foot in with the strap on the back of the boot. Once my foot is inside, there's quite a bit of room. Even though they are super cute, they look enormous on my already large feet, so I don't wear them with cute clothes; they are just my galoshes this winter. Overall happy with them, but only because I had different expectations and kind of knew what I was getting myself into based on the other reviews.

The boots are gorgeous, perfect for the city and walking everywhere. That is if you can put up with the 1st week of struggling to get them on. I first ordered the 6.5 (my reg size), and they were *not easy* to pull-on at first, but stretched within a week. But then, my foot was swimming in the bed of the boot. So I ordered a size 6. And then I saw what the other reviewers w/ high arches were talking about. I could not get it on my bigger foot without EXTREME effort. The smaller foot took effort, but was not extreme. Since then, they have stretched out (1 week of daily wear) and I love them. Still not super easy to get on my bigger foot, but I think it will stretch more with time. Bottom line, order a half size down and your first try putting them, do it bare foot and walk around the house. Then, wear the boots w/ tights or super thin socks, and take it from there. Maybe try a tennis ball to stretch it out too. They are gorgeous, strangers have stopped me to ask about them. The cushioning in the foot bed is great too. But they are work for the first two weeks. Good luck!

With snowstorm Jonas Bering down I realized that I needed snow boots and fast! I ordered late on Thursday after the overnight cutoff and crossed my fingers. Zappos came through! In Less than 24 hours these babies were tucked in on my porch. How do they do it? Zappos must be run by magic. Anyway, in anticipation I began reading reviews of these boots. I have been a happy Sorel customer in the past, in fact I wore a pair of wonderful slim pack tall riding boots into the ground , having bought a pair of those beauties the very first year they came out. Therefore I felt prepared and had taken the precaution of sizing up. However, after reading all the reviews about how hard it is to pull these particular boots on I became very alarmed. With great trepidation I pulled my cutie boots out of the box. My heart sank as I noted indeed, the narrowness of the short shaft. I loosened the top strap, pointed my foot as if putting on a tall shaft boot and - preparing for a mighty and heartbreaking fight - held my breath - guess what - they slid on like butter. Zero resistance. Once in I thought this it it your foot will be trapped - but no. For the next try I tightened the top strap , once again pointed my foot straight down and my foot slid in. So, either the design has been radically changed, or some reviewers simply do not know how to put on a boot. Ladies, these are adorable, comfortable and cute as the day is long! Two things - the size issue is that of length. They are adequately wide. The second thing - Sorel the heels Look great but they do not wear well. You have to take these to a shoemaker immediately and get heel taps or you will wear them down to plastic pretty fast. It is. A shame that such an otherwise well made good looking and sturdy boot has this issue. Other than that, total and complete love! Size up a half to a whole size. Buy with confidence. These are darling!

I love the boots and they fit great. ONLY exception to 100% satisfaction is that there are no tabs on sides or back of boot to pull them on. My heel is stopped by the strap that slings behind the boot. Design flaw.

I didn't have any issues pulling on these boots and I got them in my normal size 8. They are fantastic in the sloppy winter weather - my feet stay dry and warm. I like the fact that they don't look like a typical snow boot - they are a little bit more fashionable and work well with my everyday wardrobe. They are so comfy they can be worn all day. I found there was no break-in period with these - I worn them 3 days straight without any issues!

These boots are very stylish and definitely keep your feet dry. They run small. I went up half a size from an 8.5 to a 9. I wore them with a fairly thick sock but still had major rubbing between my toes resulting in a huge blister. I guess they'd be fine if you don't walk too much. Maybe a thicker sock would help so my foot wouldn't move around as much.

I have the Joan of Arctic Sorels but wanted a smaller waterproof boot that could be worn day to day, and not only when there's a blizzard. I think these are just ok. (I purchased the brown color, which may enhance the blah factor). They aren't super stylish, and look a bit clunky on. I agree with other reviewers in that they aren't easy to pull on, and there are no tabs or laces to grab onto. I find that my skinny jeans don't stay in the boots well, so the jeans bunch up and look awkward. I wear them primarily with leggings. They are warm-ish but not toasty. I can fit thick socks in them to enhance the warmth. I can't say I would recommend these and wouldn't buy them again.

I wanted to like these so much. Once they are on, they are great! But I just could not imagine struggling with them each and every rainy morning. The hunt for the perfect rain boots continues...

I bought these about a size larger than usual (7.5 vs the 6.5 I usually wear), but didn't really like them as they just felt too big and clunky on my feet. Probably would've just gone with a 6.5, or maybe a 7 if I wanted to wear thick socks. I think ladies with skinny stick legs (unlike my own) would find them more flattering. Unlike other reviewers I had absolutely NO issue pulling them on and off... despite my allegedly high arches. Hopefully will find something else cute from Sorel to make it thru the rainy winter.

Okay, here's the scoop. Dumb boot. I am not able to review the size, width, etc., because it was impossible to get the boot on. I even tried undoing the strap around the back (a total pain). Still unable to get my foot into the thing. Neat looking, great color, but somewhat useless. I had to give one star for comfort as I could give no opinion.

I had no problem getting these boots on and off - the problem I had with them was that they are really wide. My usual size 10 fit in the length, but when I walked I could feel my foot slide down to the front. My feet are wide across the front with a narrow heel. These just seemed really wide all over, not just the heel, which also slipped. If they made them to lace-up, they'd probably be great. Maybe they'll work for some, but not for me.

I don't understand these boots at all. I ordered a 7, which is what I generally wear in Sorel (7.5 in most other brands) and I couldn't get more than the front half of my foot into the top of the boot. The turn is incredibly tight, and I have narrow feet. They seem beautifully made, but I can't vouch for comfort or anything else about them!

To start, these are absolutely adorable. That being said, that is the ONLY positive to these boots. I had to have them stretched so I could get my feet in easier (and it was still tough to get them in after being stretched). These are by far the most uncomfortable boots I have ever owned! I can't wear them for more that 30 minutes without my feet throbbing. I honestly don't know if I'll buy Sorel again. Yes, they have great style, but more often than not, the comfort/function just isn't there.

This has already been said, but these boots are EXTREMELY difficult to get on if you have high arches. I managed to get it on my right, but couldn't get the left one on. It's a shame, because they're super cute.

Really loved the look of these shoes and bought them because I need a pair of slide on waterproof boots for mild winters. However, the taper above the heel prevented me from getting my foot into the boot. I have a narrow foot and I could tell that if I could just slide my foot in the length was perfect. If they just had a zipper or a snap or something to loosen it these would have been perfect. I tried putting talc on my foot, thin socks, shoe horn, and loosening the belt to the maximum and my foot just wouldn't go in. Super sad because otherwise they were perfect.

As hard as I tried I could not get my foot in the boot. It was my size but the ankle opening is too small for my foot to pass through. It needs a zipper or laces. Virtually impossible to put on.

Unable to slip foot into boot. The construction of this boot is way too narrow at the mid rise to be able to slide your foot into the boot. If you want to wear a sock, which you should, forget about buying these boots. It is too bad that feet can't easily slide in because otherwise this boot is great. If Sorel would correct the design flaw, it is a must buy! Sadly, I had to return :(
