I love these boots! I read the reviews before purchasing, so I was prepared for them to be difficult to get on. Not so! They slide on and then I cinch up the laces. I've worn them all day for the past three days and they are wonderful. Perfect for rainy/snowy days. I wear them through the slush and my feet stay warm and dry, but they are comfortable and dressy enough that I wear them with my work clothes all day and my feet feel great. I wear my thick socks with them for added comfort. The size of the shoe allows for the added thickness.

Overall O love these boots! They are stylish and fun. These boots have a thermal warm lining but would not recommend for really cold day (Sorel has so many more options for that) excellent waterproof boots! I found these boots to be a little wider than most. They are difficult to lace up (no zipper) when putting off and on. However I cannot stop wearing them and get tons of compliments,

I absolutely love these boots! I wear a size 6.5 and that is the size I purchased. They are roomy enough to wear with thick socks. I did not find them hard to put on or take off, as long as you loosen the laces enough. I wore these boots today in snowy slushy weather and they are wonderful!

I was a little hesitant about these boots, as I am not a huge fan of that particular stacked heal style, but once I got them on my feet and out into the snow, I have to say I love them! They provide great traction, super support, are lightweight, and remain comfortable all day, straight out of the box. I am usually a 9½, I ordered a 9½ and am really glad that I did. Previous reviews said they run big, but the sizing is right on for me.

I love love LOVE these boots! They are exactly what I expected, no surprises! The first day I wore them for hours and I got several compliments but the best part was that my feet didn't hurt at the end of the day like they sometimes do when breaking in new boots. They are very comfortable. I was a little hesitant to buy green boots but the green is a beautiful deep color so they go with a lot more than I'd hoped. They feel true to size but are a little wide so if I wear my normal thin socks my foot slides a little. I like to wear thick wool socks in the winter anyway so it works out perfectly. This was my first purchase from Zappos but I'll definitely be ordering from them again! Excellent service!

Absolutely LOVE this shoe. Very comfortable. I am a trust size 10 - I ordered this in a size 10 but had to send it back because it was way too big, even with winter socks. I called Zappos customer service and they overnight-ed me a 9 1/2 (advanced refund) even before they received my return of the size 10. Amazing shoes, amazing customer service - not much more a girl can ask for!

This is my first pair of Sorel boots and I can not believe how stylish they are!! I wear a size 12 and it is difficult to find comfortable footwear that is also cute. These are awesome!! I have already ordered another style of Sorel boots.

Really cute boots. I bought these after my fall leather boots were letting water in soaking my socks. I needed a fall boot alternative.After reading the reviews I bought the smaller of the two sizes I wear(8.5/9) and they fit perfect, roomy for any kind of socks. Only thing is they are a little difficult to get your foot in them the first few times. You really have to loosen the laces. They are especially cute with boot socks.I will be wearing them during the winter also since they are waterproof.

Bought these for a tailgate in WI and they were perfect in the snow and rain. They are stylish and I got a lot of compliments. Definitely get a half size smaller.

I adore these boots! I'm a true 8.5- my foot is on the wider side, and these fit perfectly. I broke them out for a gentle trail walk on a cold and crispy fall day and they were perfect. And as soon as it gets colder in the city,I think they'll be great here too - right amount of weatherproofing and warmth plus style I was looking for.

The fit of these boots is a bit of a conundrum. I think the length is in line with the size, but the width makes them feel large. If you go down a half size (or more) to accommodate the wider width I think they'd be too short. With that said, thicker socks and/or an insole would probably make just the right adjustments for a perfect fit. Pretty minor things in my mind. Aside from that, these are really comfortable and stylish. I have a high arch and while they don't totally support that they are much better than the majority of boots I've previously owned. I wanted something that was stylish, warm and waterproof. These fit the bill. I've worn them with skinny jeans and straight leg jeans and they look great either way.

I followed the advice of the other reviewers to size down, and I think I would mostly agree--these shoes seem to run between a half size small and true-to-size. Since these are indeed heels, they will feel a bit roomy when sitting, but when you're standing and walking your foot will, of course, move forward. I wear a size 9 and went with a size 8.5, and they fit quite comfortably. While these boots seem to be at least decently waterproof (I have not had a chance to put them to a severe test, but so far they've been fine with casual rain), the insulation is not super thick, so these will not be the most warm of boots in the dead of winter. They are just fine for strolls doing errands, though, and they will probably be fine through the spring as well. The shoes actually have decent arch support, which was a pleasant surprise. The thing I like best about these boots, though, is that they are really quite comfortable for standing for long periods of time, even though they have decent heels--I have worn them to work and ended up standing for most of the shift (so, think 6+ hours of standing and walking around), and my feet did not hurt any more than they might otherwise. The curved toe might be a little weird-feeling at first, but I have found that it helps propel me along, which I think might help with the comfort level at the end of the day. They are also quite stylish, which is always a plus. Overall, I highly recommend.

Love these boots. Exactly what I was looking for to wear all winter. They're soft on the inside and lace-up, true to size, but you don't have to tie the laces incredibly tight to keep them from sliding around. I always get about a half size larger in boots so I can wear thicker socks, and the sizing was right for that as well. Usually order 10 in sorels, and I wear a 9.5 and regular shoes.

These boots are so stylish in person! They run true to size and width. I ordered the green, and the color is true to the pictures. They are perfect for rainy 40ish degree weather that we are getting plenty of in Virginia right now! I personally do not think that these would be warm enough to wear for an extended period outside if it is freezing. I am a true size 10 with pretty narrow feet, but ordered a 10½ to add insoles for cushioning and a little added warmth. There is not much cushioning in these without an insole. They are plenty roomy. If you have wide feet, they should still fit great.

I ordered a couple different Sorel styles and this was the winner. It was rugged looking while still being very comfortable. I felt this boot was true to size. I'm looking forward to getting a lot of wear out of these this fall!

So I ordered a half size smaller as suggested by previous reviews. I normally wear a 6 and I ordered a 5.5, so very glad I did. They fit great, with plenty of room for thick socks. I think even a 5 would have worked but maybe not as much room for the thicker socks. They are super cute and comfortable, I haven't worn them in the elements yet b/c its not cold or rainy yet here in Texas but I am hopeful. These complement skinny jeans and leggings ever so nicely. Oh, and Zappos had them at my front door within 24 hours of my order, that's service! Definitely recommend!

I love these! I already own the Conquest Carly Boot and the Tivoli Boot and find that these fit similarly. They feel a tiny bit roomier than most 6.5 sized shoes. However, this is perfect because these shoes aren't built to be super warm. I get very cold feet in the fall and winter and like to have a chunky pair of wool socks anyway so the extra space helps accommodate this. There is not a removable lining in this style. They are very lightweight. As most Sorel boots are - they're a bit clunky but they'll be perfect to balance out with chunky sweaters and coats. Overall - I can't wait to wear these and I would recommend them!

Love the aesthetics of this boot. I got the green color, they are beautiful to look at and comfortable to wear. The 8.5 seemed just a little long in the toe, I have PLENTY of room even with thicker socks. A little hard to get these on and off, but not too bad. Lace up boots always are a little tricky. The strap wrapped around does not adjust, as mentioned, it didn't seem to affect the fit of my pair.

I read the reviews and ordered these boots a half size down and I could possibly have even gone a full size down but then may not have been able to wear thick socks. The style is terrific, except for the strap across the instep which is a little too loose and gaps when the boot shaft is tightly laced. Otherwise great looking boots and very comfortable.

I love the look of these boots, cute style for rain boots. The cross strap is purely ornamental, but it hinders the laces on the boot - makes it difficult to loosen the laces to put them on your foot. Also, I went down a half size after reading the previous reviews and I am glad that I did. Still very roomy and quite wide, even with thick socks.

These look amazing, but the strap across the top did not fit my very high instep and it is not adjustable. If it fit, I would have kept. I have wide feet and it fit fine.

These are cute. I ordered them in both green and black both of which I liked. I returned them only because they didn't fit. They were wide in the toe area. I ordered a 9.5. I typically wear 9.5 but can wear up to an 11 in my sneakers. Length was fine.

I didn't end up loving these boots and plan on returning them. For the price of boots, I really want to buy something that I love. The toe space is a lot clunkier than it looked in the photo, and the ankle area was bulky. I marked these true to size, but I think if you have narrow feet like I do, they may be on the larger side.

These boots are super-cute and seem well-made, but were too small. The "Major" color is less brown, more gray/green than the image on the website. The leather sort of splits the difference between the images for "Major" and "Nori," and the canvas is what I imagine a vintage British army rucksack would be made of. I was surprised that the ankle-strap doesn't unbuckle or adjust, but it isn't an issue getting my foot in/out, so that's okay. I don't know if the "Slimboot" runs small or if the other Sorel boots I have run large, but my big toe was jammed up against the front of this boot, even with really thin socks on. Bummer. At least Zappos has free return shipping.
