I live in Arizona, and while in the Winter a jacket is fine outdoors, I often have to take them off while shopping in stores, and that is sometimes inconvenient depending on what I might have with me at the time. While I haven't yet worn it, I've tried it on & it fits well and looks good even though I'm 3 XL, the only problem with it I see is a bit of a "lack of sturdiness" in the construction of the interior pockets. Anyway, I'm sure this will work well for me in the Arizona Winter.

This is a nice lightweight vest, great for wearing in the office and under a raincoat. Very happy with the aesthetics and functionality of the vest. It's a good value and I'll probably buy at least one more.

Very few times I procured a jacket or fleece that fits perfect the first time. The quality is great even after a few trips to the cleaners. Thank you!

You just can not go wrong with any Columbia fleece!! And the vest is a nice addition to your choices for layering or just a bit more warmth. Plush and comfortable, with the bonus of having HUGE "pouches" inside, for use a pockets for gloves, beanies, goggles, balaclavas, snack stash or whatever!!

I'm not a Columbia shopper til I tried on a Steens Mountain Fleece Vest. I'm a bigger guy so I tried on a 3x and the quality of the material and the fit for a big guy sold me. Matter of fact I purchased 4 different color vest and love each one. Thank you.

ordered this in SIZE 4XL Fit true to size. comes down perfect in the back where I can bend down and still hold my pride. REALLY soft just don't over dry it in the wash or it will burn and get ruff. I had to order on line because i am so big stores don't really carry my size. its a pain but if you do go in store and see a Fleece vest you get the idea of how this will be. don't have any issues with shrinking either.

This is my second Steen's Mountain vest. This is used for daily wear for layering. It looks good over dress shirts or for casual wear. The only negative would be the sizing. I usually wear a 3xlt. This seems to be a little smaller so you may consider going up a size. I would like to see a heavier weight fleece model and a bottom drawstring. Overall great product.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas. He's always cold so thought he would like this as an extra layer He's very happy with it. Wears it around the house and outside for a little extra warmth. Fits well.

First products i have ever purchased from columbia. I could not be more pleased with my gear, it is comfortable, stylish and comes in big people sizes that fit me.

My husband really likes vests in the cooler weather and these are warm and very comfortable. Large inside pockets hold everything he needs.

I was so happy when my new fleece arrived. I had been looking for a while for a nice mid layer fleece for skiing. As a big man it's hard to find comfortable outer ware that functions. I have my family's post-menopausal "grandma belly" and this vest fits great. I keep it at my office to wear when I get chilly. I wear it almost every day (thanks to our outdated HVAC). I bought gray so it would go with all the colors I wear. The pockets are huge, which is a big plus. It's the perfect vest - light, warm, but not hot.

My husband is hard to please but he loved this vest. Very well made and looks great. Very glad I bought it. Intend to get another one in a different color.
