i've purchase a lot of 2x & 3x clothing from Columbia. This vest fits more like a 1.5x and it should be said, i bought the 3x size. I had to check the tag several times because i couldnt belive how tight it was. This one gets returned.

This is my fifth purchase of this vest in different colors. In the tall, it is the just right length for me and the pockets accommodate all my crap -just an excellent layer.
