Unlike my other Columbia fleece jackets that have the inner liner (which forms the pocket) sown on all sides, the inner liners of these new jacket are not attached to the outer layer along the top edge. The result is that the pockets sag dramatically when I place anything (e.g. a small cell phone) in the pockets. Please advise if I need to purchase a different model jacket to get fully sown pockets?

First, we have different ideas of what "navy" is; I'd call this cadet blue instead of collegiate navy. The fit was a little on the small side but it zipped, so I could have dealt with it. My problem is the quality of the fleece. Someone said that it was like getting the cheap fleece blanket from a superstore, and that is exactly it.

I ordered the 4xt for my son, this is not a tall. It was plenty big enough around but very short, especially in the back. If he lifts his arms up the jacket turns into a half shirt. I also purchased a Lt, this jacket was great in the length.

Great fit Zipper is cheap and doesn't work well

I recently purchased this jacket in an XLT as a replacement for a well worn earlier version. The sleeve length is nice, but the body length is uncomfortably long at times. This jacket should sit at or just a little below the waist. Instead it rides at or below the middle of my butt. It's annoying in the car. I am 6'5" with a longish torso, and I don't know how tall someone would have to be in the body in order for this jacket to fit them correctly. My earlier model of this jacket is an XLT as well, and it fits normally. This new one is also bigger around in the body. In addition, the detail work on the stitching is pretty poor. There are numerous areas of over runs/overstiching on the zippers, etc. And, I spent about 20 minutes with some small, sharp scissors trimming off the excess threads hanging all over the jacket. I have never had to do this to any Columbia product previously, so it is fairly disappointing. They have apparently changed vendors and patterns for this jacket.

Spring/fall wear.

Coat does not fit as coats from the past i have from Columbia. Sleeve size is small compared to other 4x Columbia coats. Not a true 4x

Columbia is such a great product. I am very pleased, especially being my first time to own this product. The material is so soft and it fits me great.

I love Columbia, but feel this fleece is of lower quality than other incarnations of this jsckeg

Fleece smells like mildew or mold. Still has that odor after washing it. Must have been sitting in inventory for a long time.

I can't believe you are asking me for a review, you cancelled both of my orders, after you said you have the product!! Don't think I'll ever order from you again!

What happened to the Columbia quality that I've come to expect? Another company falling victim to the bean counters. I've bought my last Columbia.

Cheap looking and very different from the pictures

Bought size 3x in black. I received it and it doesn't look black, they sent me the gray one and it is not fleece at all. It feels like felt.. very cheap material. Wouldn't recommend it to anyone. So misleading.

Fits perfect but is not avtually black like puctured. The one i recueved is dark grey.

Columbia's Fleece is substandard compared to it's past production. I had to return the same item twice. You cannot compete with The North Face or Patagonia!!!

Main zipper is bent not sure if it comes like that. Also showed up late.

I am sorry to write a negative review for this product,especially because Columbia is a brand that I love. I am a person who owns a lot of Columbia's fleece,so when I write this, I am writing a true review. I purchase a lot for myself and my girls and because of this I decided to buy for my hubby. For whatever reason the quality of fabric used for the men feels so different from the previous ones I purchased. Not only that, I have noticed that most of the fleece products which are made in Vietnam are better quality fleece than the onces made in Bangladesh and the other places that Columbia uses...What is going on Columbia?? As a family we wear and love your products, so please keep the quality and high standards coming. I want to keep on being your staunch supporter. Thanks!!

ordered a 5 xl and fits like a 2 xl not true to size at all very unhappy.

The feel and comfort are far below expectations.

I ordered this item for my husband and this jacket had a small hole on back and poor stitching on the back of the neck making another hole near the collar.

The zipper was flimsy

part of the new, snug-fit genera. Big guys don't need that. This is a tight-fitting coat that is about 1 to 1.5 sizes too small. I didn't try the coat on, but I bought a bunch of 3x stuff that fit great. I bought a 4x coat so that it would have room and it's about a 2x. I already gave it away. try it on first and be prepared to be embarrassed.

Item is not your typical length for size tall

I bought this and the string around the waist broke and I am very upset.
