I bought this jacket as a replacement to a North Face I owned for years. I needed something that was more professional looking than a North Face jacket. I browsed around and read the reviews for this jacket. Thankfully, they helped me a lot. I normally wear a 2-3x in shirts and jackets, as I am a bigger guy. I was going to purchase a 3X just to be sure, but after reading the reviews, I went a 4X. The jacket is fairly big on me, except across the shoulders. It's truly odd. Everywhere else, the arms, waist, and chest, all fit really loosely, except the back. If I would have went with a size smaller, I could probably easily rip the back by crossing my arms. Otherwise, the jacket is made superbly. It's really warm for just a fleece, and the huge pockets are big enough to fit my winter hat and gloves comfortably. The "inner pocket" seems kind of flimsy, so I would not use it. Bottom Line: Buy 1-2 sizes bigger and use the drawstring at the bottom. You'll be more than pleased.

Finally a tall that is a tall.

Bought this for my husband for Christmas, he has two now and loves them. Hard to find tall sizes in the store so we order them on line!

I gave this to my husband for Christmas, and he wears it every day now. I have washed it once, and that seems to have eliminated the fuzz coming off of it when it was out of the box. It is well made, lightweight, and warm.

This jacket was a gift for my son and I needed a tall size which is not easy to find in the stores. It arrived in a timely manner and it fit perfect. Very happy with my purchase. Thank you !!

I ordered this for my husband. He is a Clemson Tigers fan, so he loves all things orange. The construction is very well done, and it comes in extended sizes, as well as in Tall. My husband is a large man, and this was the perfect size for him. I would recommend this for any Big & Tall man.

Okay, I am going to start out saying that I am a big guy who works out regulatly, 6 feet even 380 lbs so, I was very skeptical when i ordered this fleece in a 3XT. When it came, I was SHOCKED. it actually fits me perfectly. Just enough length to stay down when bending over and large enough to wrap my wide shoulders without being constricting. Length of sleeves is perfect. if you have large arms and shoulders, do not fret, this will fit. I wear it under a vest to keep my arms warm and my core warmer. It is also thin ehough (without feeling cheap and flimsy) to also wear under a shell jacket to stay waterprooof. Columbia, you have made a believer out of me and also a lifetime buyer if you guys keep the quality as is. Thank you.

This jacket seemed thin to me in comparison to another fleece jacket I have but in the cold the jacket keeps me quite warm. I'm not sure yet about wind resistance and will report about this later.

I am very happy with product. Great fit for a big guy. Very pleased Columbia (one of the few) is serving the needs of us "big dude's with quality products. Keeps you much warmer than I expected, a pleasant surprise. Only issue is the picture on the web site does not match the product that shipped. On the one I received the pattern was reversed, the black was on the top half and the grill/grey was on the bottom. I believe the picture on the web site is not matching the production versions that are shipping to customers.

Nice jacket. I ordered a 3xlt and it fits a little big and long. Not the products fault, just hard to fit a big body. Very Comfortable. I like it a lot!!

I ordered this item in a tall for my husband. Most often, even though you order a tall, the sleeves are too short for him. This jacket fits perfectly!

Columbia makes one of the better polar fleeces that fits the typical American Male. In fact, that's about what my husband uses in his wardrobe. And of course, we trust Columbia!

This is my second Steens Mtn fleece my other one is 3 years old, the new one seems to be heavier and has a better zipper, my old one is still awesome, I just thought the new style was improved I would definitely recommend and order another for myself Awesome that it comes in tall sizes nothing worse than short sleeves on outerwear My old fleece stays in my truck so I have it wherever I go wanted a new one for dressier times

Great fit. Looks great! Not too warm but warm enough for very cool evenings. Large pockets hold plenty. Wish it had a little better(bigger) zipper head. Sometimes a bit hard to connect. Overall, a great fleece jacket.

I was looking for a fleece for a tall man and this worked well. Same good quality you always get from Columbia and it fits my husband well.

My husband loves these zippered sweatshirts and wears them nearly year round - a light covering for outside during the spring and fall and inside during the winter. He has requested the same style over the past few years and I always keep them on hand for him. They are very sturdy and durable considering the constant wear he gives them.

The jacket is well made,stylish,and a great buy for the money. I've always worn an extra large, which I ordered this time. It seems like the present standard of extra large has shrunk, not only in your clothes but throughout the industry. I've decided to just keep the jacket even though it's a little tight.

This is perfect to put under a light jacket if you need a little extra warmth. It is a nice fleece material and has a full length zipper that handles easily. High quality materials as usual from Columbia! I plan to buy another one.
