My wife was looking for a new parka. Usually I would go with a different brand but after extensive research and comparing prices, this Woman's Artic Parka was the best choice!! My wife loves its texture and it is definitely made for cold Midwest artic weather. Worth every penny. I am Definitely looking into buying a men's parka.

This is nicest coat I've ever owned! Very well made and beautiful. It cuts out the freezing wind and keeps me comfortably warm (temps in the teens). The only negative is I have the cream-colored one and it shows dirt easily. I've been using a magic eraser and smudges seem to come off pretty easily with that. Overall, very happy and I did purchase it again in wild ginger for every day use.

This coat keeps me warm and toasty. This is especially welcome on nights when the temperature falls below sub zero degrees and I need to walk my dog. I like the ribbed cuffs that keep the frigid cold air from seeping into the coat. The hood stays on my head even when there is a gust of wind blowing. The zippers and hook & loop closures are quality features on the coat which are easy to manipulate while using gloves/mittens. I highly recommend purchasing this coat.

This is the warmest coat I have ever purchased for myself!I don't know what took me so long to buy a North Face coat. I am a teacher and I bought this coat to keep me warm during 33 degree recess days. I have received many compliments when I wear it. The fur hood adds a bit of style!

Review for Zappos VIP Points(What's this?)
This jacket is true to size. If you're a large generally, get a large. 5'4" and 150lbs and Large was great, doesn't fit snug or too big, and has just enough room to move in while shoveling and around town without feeling like a sausage. I tried medium, but was a tight very snug fit so went with large. Also, arm length was great in either and with an elastic around the wrist it makes it feel perfect. Such a nice jacket - perfect Parka that combines the warmth of down and DryVent for rain/show conditions. It's a 2-Layer DryVent ("2L") and not 3 layers for ultimate rain resistance, but at this price point it's expected and totally fine for what I'll be using it for - every day jacket to work and around town. Other jacket I was considering was the New Outerboroughs Parka - which costs $500 and yet with the same specs (DryVent 2L + 550 down) and in person it looked more of a utility/manly jacket with the chest pockets and patterns...and its Large was really Large. Get this..I can see why so many raves about it in the reviews now as it's perfect. Also, the faux fur around the head is very protective and encompassing of the head where I likely don't need to wear a hat - it's also cute, or removable if not a fan.
