This parkat is great for the cold snowy winters here on the coast of Maine. It is great at keeping the harsh wind at bay and it keeps me very warm. The only draw back is that this parka's weight wise is heavy. Once you have it on, it is very comfortable, but to carry it over your arm - heavy weight. I love my parka and I would recommend it to anyone looking to be out in the cold to stay warm.

Gave as gifts to two people and both loved this coat. Warmth is what mainly looking for and it is #5, also looks very attractive.

Omgoodness so warm! I live in Chicago and definitely worth the pretty penny. The jacket has thumb holes, 2 deep pockets with zippers and one inside pocket.

I've wanted this coat forever (truly for over the past two decades) and I am so happy to finally have acquired it.

So warm!! With the hood up over a knit cap, I am impervious. I love the off white color and the ability to cinch the waist (took me a while to find the toggles in the pockets). It makes this "dressy" enough to wear it running errands, not just walking the dogs. The inside cuffs are a nice touch, too, to keep wind from getting in. So glad I bought this.

Kept me warm and dry in the cold NY winter this Christmas! Fought the wind perfectly while walking hours in NYC and when it rained I didn't have to worry about dealing with an umbrella because the water didn't soak through.

Love this jacket! Keeps me warm in temperatures as low as 30s

Really like this jacket. It does not feel overly bulky (which I hate especially when driving!) but has been good for the Chicago winter. Bonus- it can cinch in the back.

This jacket is the warmest jacket when walking in zero degree weather keeps me warm and blocks thee wind

An absolute dream to wear for work, for play, and for going out. Warm and stylish, allowing for ease of movement. Incredibly well-made and washes easily. What an incredible find!

Super Warm!! I live in Boston and have used it during this winter season, and its the warmest jacket, very helpful with the windchill in the City. Very stylish and easy to match with your outfits, materials are very high quality, totally worth the investment for cold winters. Totally Recommend

I purchased this same coat about 5 years ago (it was 550 fill then). I bought it then knowing it was a tad small, but it was the warmest coat I could find and the medium was definitely too large. I ordered a small and a medium this time, and the new small is definitely roomier than my old small so I kept that one (I'm 5' 4", 120lbs). The elastic inside to snug up the waist is nice to give a little shape. The hood is a little stiff around the fur, but hopefully that will soften up with time. My only wish was that they kept the teal lining inside the coat - that was much more fun than the navy lining.

Fits perfectly and extremely warm! Even if I wear short sleeve tops I don't feel cold at all.

I got this as a gift. I absolutely love it! Comfortable, warm, fits well, and I especially love the little thumb hole in the sleeve :) Though a lot of the other Northface jackets I tried on were a little small, this style fits true to size.

This parka is one of my best NF purchases. I can wear this with a short sleeve t-shirt inside of it and the wind/extreme cold temperatures/snow doesn't do anything to me. I'm a person who's always cold but this parka keeps me warm and toasty. The zippers are smooth and the pockets are deep. Very functional and efficient for Upstate NY weather.
