This coat was a Christmas gift when I was in college. I needed a warm coat walking from class to class. It has surpassed my expectations many years ago. It is the warmest coat I've ever had and is quality! This coat was gifted in 2011 and it's now 2023 and I'm just now running into a problem with it. The zipper is starting to fray, but after this winter I plan on sending it back to the north face for repair. I don't usually put any layers under the coat and I'm usually good to go. The pros for this cost go on and on. The only cons for this coat are it's bulky when packing it to go somewhere, and it's tricky to dry. You can't put it in the dryer and the down takes a long time to fully dry and declump. I try to wash it once a season bc it's just a pain in the butt. If this coat kicks the bucket I'll be surly buying a new one. But I should start saving now because the price is a bit steep.

Not as heavy as the older version of this coat but just as warm and wind resistant! Works perfectly for the city commuter who walks outdoors a lot.

Super warm and keeps out wind and rain. Love how it looks. I'm I size 8 and got this coat in medium. Fits well over a sweater or blazer. Purchased a size small for my mom who wears a 4-6.

Very light and warm jacket. The size is true and it has many functional pockets.

I'm a teacher and this is the perfect "playground wear". I love how adjustable it is and the snaps instead of Velcro.

The coat is perfect. I love the fit (true to size). The length is perfect and it's so tasty warm. What I don't like however is the white fabric used to hold the snaps for the faux fur to the hood. The fabric should have been black.

Living in the north east a solid winter parka is a must. This parka has kept my girl very warm and she loves the style

Love this jacket, it is perfect for the weather here in NJ. I use it everyday especially for long walks in this cold weather.

So comfortable and cozy in the cold weather! The design of the hood is great and allows me to look from side to side without blocking my vision- which was an issue with my last parka!

Loved this parka! An excellent staple for snowy winter days/nights. Kept me warm and dry in 11degrees with a wicked wind chill. And when youre out in a crowd not many people have a white jacket, which is why I liked it more.

This is my every day jacket. I use it to shop, run errands, and go walking. So far it has kept me warm and looks attractive

I love this jacket. I was a little hesitant based on some of the reviews but took my chances. The jacket is extremely warm. I love the additional hand coverage with the thumb holes. One review mentioned something about the pockets not being deep and the strings from the waist being in there; however, the pockets are fine (in my opinion) and the strings from tightening the waste do not interfere with having your hands in the pocket. I am 5'1", 135 lbs and I bought a medium because I like to layer and it fits perfectly.

Very warm and comfortable. I live in Syracuse, NY so I was looking for a coat that would be warm enough to wear without having to wear layers. This one is perfect. Warm and comfortable. The only thing I wish they had Pettit size. It fits well but the arms are too long for me since I'm 5'2.

Wore this to the parade of lights to ride on a float. It kept me warm and cozy. Loved the inside pocket for keeping my phone and ID safe!
