Right out the box you can feel how such a great jacket it is. It's soft and warm. And it's long! I go to work everyday in the Buffalo cold in my car and this jacket gets the job done. I love everything about this jacket because of the materials and the fur hood

Love this coat, so warm! Love the fact that the zipper is adjustable, the fur on the hood can be removed, and the fact that it stays dry in wet weather! Super satisfied with my purchase

I ordered the same coat but an earlier version (probably last yr’s) both in Small - i am 5’1” 130lbs. This one is smaller i am sizing up. Very warm and good quality- def windproof.

Seriously this is THE BEST winter coat you will ever have. Easy to wipe off and wash, SUPER warm for when I am outside or in the ice rink all day watching hockey! I will be purchasing one for everyone in my family because I love mine so much. I can't say enough good things about this jacket!!!!

I love this coat. Warm and stylish for northeast winters. I’m a year into owning it and have no complaints other than the hood; which I wish was a tad deeper as it doesn’t come forward enough when hair is in a ponytail or bun. Otherwise, great coat, well worth the $, highly recommend. Oh, and I haven’t had the issue with attracting lint as other reviews say. Mine is black.

I never write reviews but for this coat I had to ! I originally went in store (The North Face Fifth Ave) location I knew I wanted to get a new winter coat but I didn't know what style, color , or what my size would be. Our experience in store: When my boyfriend and I arrived to the store we were greeted with a welcoming hello from security and staff ! (We went on Black Friday) There was a long line and only 45 minutes to closing. I got assisted not only by 1 team member but 3 ! Everyone was super helpful listening to what I wanted in a coat and even in the madness of Black Friday everyone was super friendly, and fast. They suggested 4 different styles and I tried on different colors and sizes in each. My wants were: Longer coat that doesn't end at the hip. Stylish - I always got black winter coats. Feminine -I feel some winter coats make you really boxy. Fit/ Style: I fell in loveeee with the Women's Arctic Parka, I love that it's a longer coat and not short. For reference I'm 5'1 and it hits just at my knees. I got a size XL and I was surprised I thought I would need to get a size in the plus size range. The XXL was too big on me. The XL in fawn grey wasn't available but the staff helped place an online order. I love that the coat accentuates my curves and doesn't make me boxy. Thumb holes and all the other features make such a difference ! *For sizing reference: In pants I wear 18, and typically a XXL/ 1x in shirts, 42C in bra & I have an apple shape.* Color: In the color Fawn Grey to me it looks more of a mauve color and that's what I really loved about it ! It's a stunning color without being overwhelming and bright. It's very diverse where any gender can play it off! Warmth:You don't feel the wind at ALL very warm coat but not overbearing it's a comfortable warmth. I'm no longer shivering or cold. Bonus: The two zippers allow you to open up if you want some air. The North Face just gained a new loyal client can't wait to shop for more products ! :)

I love my new coat! It washes well I love how the hood comes off. Some NF coats don't have a detachable hood and if that was the case here, I wouldn't have bought the coat. I like that the fur on the hood has metal in it now, it kinda allows you to stiffen up the fur. My old NF coat didn't have this cute lil feature so now, I'm loving it. Also it keeps me warm, so warm sometimes I sweat a lil if I'm walking around indoors with it on for more then 20 mins. But it's doing its job so I'm not complaining. I love my coat
