It looked like a nice coat. But a Van's beanie was sent instead. The discount code that was sent failed to resolve the issue since most of the sizes left are XS, XL & XXL.

I loved the jacket UNTIL I tried to wash it. Upon looking at the directions, I noticed a yellow tag that said, "this article contains second hand material, CONTENTS UNKNOWN." I washed it according to directions and it came out with the "down" all clumped, brown stains on the lining and it smelled like a wet bird. Literally unwearable. Loved the look - but definitely not the normal North Face quality. Disappointing!!!!

Sleeves running long and back looks weird tight, returned and still haven't received the refund.

I've owned a down-filled North Face parka for 15+ years that is *still* warmer than this coat. I recently upgraded to this coat for a birthday gift and have been incredibly disappointed with my purchase. I live in Michigan and am cold when wearing this coat even when it's 35 degrees out. I do not recommend buying this jacket for cold, frigid winters.

I do not appreciate companies Misleading consumers, all products using Faux Fur on this site are labeled in description or details yet this product fails to mention it uses real fur and omits that from ANY of the details. Yet when you look up this product elsewhere it is described as "Genuine fur". I do not support North Face after being misled like this.

Poor quality

I just received this parka and the bottom zip has been ripped off. I can't zip it up at all, and the teeth are also damaged. I did not expect this from its price. Returning IMMEDIATELY!! Very disappointed.

I had my North face Arctic jacket for years! Loved it and would always recommend it. I just ordered a new one and it has VELCRO instead of snaps on the inside. It catches and collects lint. The material has been changed to a lint catching material. It shows everything! Sadly I will be returning mine. Looks like North Face is starting to lack in quality. Bring back the old style!

Received this parka for Christmas last year and loved it, however, here we are almost a year later and the down inside the upper back section has disappeared. It's washed and dried per label instructions so I'm a little upset. For the price this is definitely not worth it if all it does is fall apart after a year.

This parka is monstrous. At least a size too big. There's no side pockets and the front bellows pockets have nothing to hold the flaps down (velcro, snaps etc).

I'm a a very dissatisfied customer as I purchased this jacket and it didn't fit according to size. I didn't liked it. I returned it to North Face two weeks from today and still haven't gotten the credit back to my account. I'm still waiting and would like to get my money back ASAP. Thank you Murett

Too small

It keeps warm but it attracts to lint , since I bought black color I can lint all over the coat ,every day I need to use remove the lint.

Very bed product, i am gonna return it, asap. So disappointing.

This parka really didn't work for me. It was shapeless, I just looked puffed-up. The arms are also weirdly short (although I am very average height, 5'4" & 145 lbs). Finally, the hat is a strange shape and doesn't cover my whole head. I had high hopes for this jacket. Very disappointed and will be returning.

This is the second time I am submitting my review for this parka. The first time, TNF did not publish it and did not inform me of the reason. anyways, let's try it one more time. I bought two of these parkas in black as Christmas gift for my family members. In the store they looked great and when they tried them they looked good. So they removed the tags and decided to wear them. But the first time they wore them outside, it was shocking! The fur trim changed colour from grey to purple! Just like a clown wig! Since we had two of them, we brought the other one outside and the same thing happened. It looks horrible! Looks like a cheap $25 jacket! But this is not the end of story. We could not return them to store because they were worn and tags were removed. My family members were not happy and the whole Christmas gift situation was ruined. I decided to reach out to The North Face warranty to see if they can assist us and maybe resolve the issue as I had paid a lot of money for these jackets and nobody wanted to wear them. It took TNF support a month before they replied to my complaint and they asked for a lot of pictures and information. I sent all the requested info right away and another two weeks went by and they came back to me with "we will make an exception in your case but you have to first ship the fur trims to us to Montreal at your own cost and we will then send you two new grey furs"!!! Are you joking? It has already been two months since I reached out to you and the winter is almost finished. The parkas are just sitting in the closet eating dust and the whole time we are just wondering if we should go and buy another parka, will TNF refund us, will they assist us to return to store, will they maybe offer to give us two furs in another colour like beige, etc. And you come back saying that you will send us another grey fur only after I pay out of pocket for shipping cost! All the grey furs turn purple in this jacket. It is a design/product deficiency and the fact that multiple people already mentioned it here in the reviews means that TNF has no clue what is wrong with their products and don't care about their customers reviews which is very disappointing. I used to be a fan of TNF and all their products. My family and I own multiple TNF jackets, parkas, boots, etc and never had to contact their customer support but this is it for us! We will never ever buy any TNF product because they don't stand behind their products.

Not really made for curvy girl women. Had trouble with zipping the jacket in the hip area quite often. Sleeves started to collect fabric pilling. I returned the jacket as I was not happy with quality or comfort

I have the arctic parka 2 in green bought it from sportcheck over the summer 2021 I loved this jacket until I actually had to use it in cold weather . The wind blows right through it and in any temps from about -5 and colder I am NEVER warm in it even with layers. Especially the sleeves are even colder than the body. For the price paid this jacket should keep me somewhat warm to about minus 25 is what I expected. If I stand still in this jacket I get cold extremely fast... Im very disappointed . I really think its just an issue of the outer fabric not blocking the wind or cold for that matter. Still this should be taken care of for the price range. I will be looking elsewhere for next winter. I will say I love the design Its looks great very feminine

I used to have this coat a few years ago and I loved it. Im not sure what has change but this new style is horrible. They making them horrible now. I initially got a small and while the top part was fine , the bottom part of the coat was super tight. I had to return for a medium. Medium was super big all around. Not sure why they making them this way now. So disappointed. Return both! Will try another brand.

The parka was for everyday use. Only to be disappointed.

Website said 85% people your height & weight wear medium. I ordered medium it is small for me. Chain stopped working even without wearing it one time. I paid money to receive quality product which are missing in my order.

First of this parka did not come with care instructions, I had to google it to make sure I was doing it right. I washed it twice and it has a wet dog smell after completely drying. I contacted customer service and the best they can do is to file a warranty claim. I was considering on changing to a different style, but they are not making it easy. I don't recommend this jacket to anyone.

This coat is for best for "winter" in southern states or early fall/late spring Midwest.

This parka used to be perfection. I had an older model and came back to order another only to find they redesigned it with a giant ugly logo on the front AND back! My older model had a stylish subtle square logo on the shoulder. I'm really disappointed in this change and that I have to now find a new parka to buy.

I am 5'3", 103 lbs & this was too much coat for me, so I returned it. So far, my credit card has not been credited with the return after almost a month.
