This jacket is very warm. Im a little saddened though because for the price it shouldn't have feathers coming out of it! Every time I where it Im stick with these little tiny feathers all over my sweater. That beats the purpose as to why I even bought this coat to begin with because my old one used to this. I wish I could could return for a replacement. Ive only had it for a month.

I'm 5'4 about 175-180 pounds. I don't have a big chest, but I do have wide hips, big butt and mom pouch. I've had a North Face short puffer before and I had that in XL and could hardly fit a sweater under that. The size chart for this parka recommended Large, but I went with XL thinking it would be snug around the waist. The coat was too big, I probably could have went with a Large and still fit a light sweater underneath. The arms seem a bit short. The shoulders are boxy almost looking like I had shoulder pads and I can't tell if it's because it was a little big on me or if the coat is made to look like that and it hardly gave me any shape. Also it went past my knee and I was hoping for something right above it for easier movement. If you are taller than 5'4 it should be a good length unless you are shorter and want it long? The fur was a bit annoying and I don't envision I would have kept it on the hat if I kept the coat. I wish they made a petite/short version of this jacket to take into consideration ladies under 5'5.

I wear a small in other TNF coats but this felt huge. Yet the snap at the bottom unsnaps when I bend my knees or step up into my car. Salt and lint shows easily on the black color too.

Velcro ... get rid of it and put snaps back. If it wasn't a gift I would return it.

The fur hood on this coat is beautiful. I returned to coat because it was not comfortable. It was so stiff I felt like I couldn't even bend down and put my boots on. The black also shows every little piece of lint and was kind of a dull black color. I exchanged for the triple C parka and love it!!

I loved this coat but like someone else said it's not made for tall girls. I have long arms and the arms were way too short and the chest felt tight.

New model of this coat is not as good as the old. The velcro instead of buttons restricts your movement as they are always coming apart and the hood is way too small! It's practically unusable. No longer worth the cost of the coat.

Jacket seems very warm and windproof, but the arms are way too long. I'm 5'2" and 115, and the arms are about 4" too long. Wish they carried it in petite sizes. Too bad, but it's going back.

I ordered this in an XS, my usual size from the North Face. It's looks great on the website, and is definitely warm - however, it is SO BULKY. Granted I'm 5'1" and have a petite frame, but was still shocked my the pure bulk of this parka. The hood is not removable, which adds to the overall bulky feeling. I ended up going with the Metropolis Parka (same brand and size) and it was a much better fit. Just as warm, but more streamlined.

It was collecting all the lint and looked messy in a second . Maybe black was the wrong color to buy. Exchanged for another one on north face outlet that's almost the same but other material and that one is great .

About 10 years ago I bought a parka from TNF and loved it. I still wear it to this day and it feels like a warm hug. When I got this coat, I liked it but it never had the "warm hug" feeling. Then I wore it and the Velcro snagged on everything, it drove me crazy. Why would they choose Velcro?? I ended up returning this coat and purchasing a different style. Please get rid of the Velcro!

I have this parka with gray fur. It's a great coat but the pockets - the front part when u stick your hands in , you feel the Cold. My Gotham parka pockets are nice and warm and insulated. My hands freeze in this jacket and it's only in lower 30s in Chicago . II wish the pockets were insulated . It would make my day. So watch for that!!!! I like my hands warm and warm pockets

The aviator navy is beautiful. Love the look of the fur ruff on the hood. cozy pockets. but the fit is tricky. I am 34-27-38. The small looks best on me, however it feels too snug around the bum and hips. Medium is too big on top and looks sloppy. I'm torn--aside from the fit this coat checks all my boxes.

I like my Jacket love the color but the arms are restrictive for moving around. I do have a broader shoulder so that could be why. I mostly happy with the jacket wish it did fit a little better.

It is beautiful but much longer than shown. I am 5'7" and it comes to my knees. In this time of Covid, I wish North Face would be more accurate with their photos. I am still deciding if I will keep it. It is high quality and fits nicely, but not geared to outdoor sports as the shorter length would be.

I think if you just happened to fit this coat perfectly it might be great, but for me it was weirdly big in the shoulders, fit my hips but was a bit loose everywhere else. A lot of comments said it was heavy, but I disagree and I think it feels very light for the specs. Also, at this price range I was expecting some more control around the fit, possibly drawstrings around the waist to improve the fit and stop air from getting into the coat. For the price, it just doesn't meet my expectations.

Super heavy jacket! It is amazing quality, the only downside is the jacket is very heavy with a hard material on the outside that tends to restrict movements. Wearing a thick sweater or several layers under this jacket is going to make moving that much harder. Also, definitely size up if you plan to wear layers under this jacket, because otherwise it might fit a little too snug. The jacket reaches just above my knees (I'm 5'3). It is a beautifully made jacket and the faux fur hood is very cute!

This coat is very warm. Perfect for Midwest winters. I am petite and it did end up being pretty long in the length.

Love the coat, have to exchange due to zipper. Hoping it's a fluke but I'm not hopeful.

I was super excited for this jacket, it was so cute and stylish as well as being an all purpose WARM winter jacket. However, I was disappointed to see the company sent me a stand fitting jacket instead of the specified slim fitting jacket. It is very warm as well as water and wind proof. It is a very thick jacket and is not flattering in stand fit

Need to return it as it's too restrictive to wear since it does not run true to size.

Very cute coat, was between a medium and large size so sized up and too big. Hoping the medium works out!

I'm probably too short for this coat. It goes past my knees and feels overly puffy above my shoulders. Not as comfortable as my last NF coat.

I really wanted to love this parka, because of how attractive it is. Although it looks great on, it doesn't protect much against Wisconsin winters. I tested it outside in 20 degree, windy, snowy weather, and it wasn't warm at all. I could feel the wind right through the jacket. Particularly in the sleeves, it didn't appear to provide much protection from the cold. I typically wear LL bean down coats, and I can tell the difference in warmth between their 650 down fill, and this parkas 550 down fill. This would be a great jacket in mildly cold weather with no wind, but would not recommend for winter.
