This is a super gorgeous coat. I got TNF black as a gift. Unfortunately it attracts a LOT of lint. I'm torn on whether to keep it or not.

This parka seemed warm and high quality, but it just doesn't work for my body type, so I returned it. I'm 5'2" and petite, and this jacket was too long in the arms, wide in the shoulders, and overall didn't fit right. The collar was the worst part for me - it hit right on my chin and rubbed up against my face when fully zipped. My other complaint is that the white logo is too big and a stark contrast on the black jacket. I'd prefer a subtle gray or smaller logo.

The placket covering the zipper is closed with velcro. If you have long hair, this coat will tear it out of your head, and it won't stay closed with just the velcro, it must be zipped.

I do like this jacket, feels good quality, warm and a beautiful green color. However, it came with plaid lining that was not in the description for pictures. I'm really bummed out as I don't like the plaid. I suggest for those purchasing to check and see what type of lining it come with. I was expecting green, as the pictures shows, but that's not the case with these.

Very light weight, not too heavy. I am returning it because there is VELCRO on the front of the jacket. In the pictures it doesn't show the velcro. In the description it doesn't state velcro. I absolutely hate velcro because its a lint magnet, and very hard to clean. I really wish they would of used buttons as a closure instead, a little sad because the jacket is very beautiful.

This coat is very warm and waterproof but the hood construction is bad. The hood itself is so big it's not usable. It flops over and covers my entire face! When the hood is not on my head it is so heavy that it drags the back of the coat down. I want to like it but I don't. Sad because it was so expensive. I thought I could get used to it, but I can't, so I don't wear it.

Very thick and I'm sure very warm, but I did not love the material on this coat. It felt like every little thing would stick to it and that it would attract lint from anything. I had to return it unfortunately.

Felt very bulky. Elastic gathering in back made torso feel tight. Also hit my leg at an uncomfortable spot

This parka fit great. I did return because I purchased the gray and it was more lilac/ purple color than gray. I couldn’t get past that.

Overall, I'm happy with this coat. It's really warm even when you don't use a sweater underneath, and the color is beautiful. I've gotten a lot of complements on it. The only issues I'm having is the flaps on the front of the coat are extremely high and thus annoying. I have to fold them into themselves to get it off my face and putting it under my chin feels like I'm chocking. Maybe it's because I'm short, I'm not sure.

Let me start off by saying I've always loved north face products.I have a similar coat I bought over 10 years ago and I still wear it to this day. They really do last forever. And no other cold has ever kept me as warm as my north face.My older coat is a size medium and it's tight on me now..based upon that I figured a large would be perfect. I'm usually a large in everything else. But the coat came and it was very big on me was not fitted. It definitely runs big may want to size down.

I'm between a S and M (36-30-42) and have tried all this year's coats. I needed something very warm for time spent standing still outside, I wanted it to be mid-thigh or close to knee, and it had to accommodate my large hips compared to smaller upper half. Arctic Parka: M too big on wrists/upper half, and neck hurt quite a bit when zipped. Small would be too small for my hips, given the standard fit. Did not like the velcro either. McMurdo Expedition in S won out - the relaxed fit means it's roomier, and it was definitely the warmest too!

Gorgeous color but attracts lint and it is impossible to keep lint free.

Felt warm and flattering, but the neck area was extremely rigid and would press up uncomfortably against my neck, and the velcro was extremely heavy duty and stuck to/damaged my office chair and sweaters

This jacket is a replacement for my A&F Arctic Parka... best jacket ever! TNF jacket keeps me warm. The arm length is short, the zipper near the neck is very uncomfortable, the velcro part literally sticks to everything! Anyone having issues with the blue coat looking like there's lint on it? I washed it thinking that could fix the problem, it didn't. It's just a hassle to use a lint roller daily.

I had high hopes for this jacked but it has an awkward left handed zipper and a sharp seam that scratched my chin. Luckily there was an easy return process.

Very flammable and melts near heat. A flicker from a outside fire burnt it quickly. I stood near a wood stove and melted quick. Made from recycled plastic. No high cost are needed. Remember don't use jacket for winter activities near flames and heat.

It was a very nice coat. Well made and fit nicely. But I had to return it. The hard outer shell was just so very noisy. Every time I moved it made a terrible noise. I found that to be unacceptable

Bought this coat in black and what looks like grey fur. When wearing the coat outside, the fur gets a purple hue, which looks pretty unfavorable. Really thought with the money I spent the fur could stay its grey color

I will say the parka is very warm. It looks nice because it has a cinch in the waist at the back. Downside is the material attracts everything. Even after washing, lint rolling and use tape to remove fibers it still looks bad. I purchased the black; perhaps this would be fine in a lighter color. I also do not like the Velcro on the front. It's a downside , hair sticks in it and it opens up when raising your to get in suv and overall I am unhappy that I spent this kind of money on this parka. The gray fur on the hood appears purplish in the light also.
