Great investment for winter in NYC. Had to order 3 different times to get the right size though.

Keeps me warm and dry at my granddaughter's soccer games.

I bought this same coat years ago and loved it then! The only thing I wish this version had was a belt that cinches at the waist like the older version! But still love this coat and the color (navy) is lovely.

This is a great coat for cold weather - I am a teacher and I stand outside for extended lengths of time in cold weather - Pacific NW - the coat is windproof and warm. True level 3 for warmth. Slant pockets on sides comfortable placement. Coat runs slightly bigger through the middle and smaller through the shoulders. I could have easily worn a medium around the waist, but through the shoulders it would have felt tight. I am 5'5" and weigh 113lbs. Medium thin build. My regular size for most clothes is Medium and Small. This coat is more flattering than the snow parka because it has a waistline. I had to go with the large to be able to have a sweatshirt under my coat.

A gorgeous coat, unfortunately not cut for my pear-shaped body. Size M: The lower portion fit perfectly around my hips; on top the shoulders were too big, the sleeves were really long. Sad to have to return it.

You can tell this is well built. It'll be warm for this New York winter. Took away one star because of how off the sizing was. I've had to size down twice. Overall happy.

Loving this product so far. Fitted perfectly and doesn't feel as big. And now just waiting for the weather to change so I can use it

Haven't had too much chance to use the coat yet, however it looks great and definitely warm. The Velcro fastenings have been sticking to clothes when I've carried it, but once you put it on and fasten obviously it isn't an issue.

Really wanted the coat to work out but the med is too tight and large too big. Love the color red though. I hope north face brings the DefDown Parka back.

I got this coat in the grey color. It is a nice coat. Have gotten nice compliments on it. Very warm and easy to move around with it

Can't believe North Face doesn't to mail exchanges I bought in a large... it ran too big in the shoulders. Didn't look great. Once I get $ back I will try to order in a medium

I use this jacket as my winter coat to get around chicago. Love it except for a weird poof in the back because of the drawstring waist.

Finally! A winter coat warm enough for Wisconsin winters, yet dressy enough to wear for an evening out. It's tailored in the waist so it doesn't feel like you're wearing a bulky old snowsuit style coat. Rests about 3" above my knees.

Love how warm and cozy this coat is. Perfect knee length. Gorgeous rich red color. Love how roomy the hood is and the fact that it actually stays on your head! Would absolutely recommend and purchase again. The only thing I dislike is the Velcro closures. They snag your clothes and hair.

Beautiful every part, but should is 4 inches wlder than the old version, fitting is not right.

great warmth and fit but I am only 5’3” and it was over my knees couldn’t move around easily so had to return?

I'm a 38 D and normally fit into size Large clothing. This jacket was very tight around my chest area making it hard to move my arms.

Good winter jacket. Wind goes right into the hood though. There's no way to cinch the hood. Also the hood is very short without the fur. The waist doesn't cinch either so no shape from the front. The x-small was a tad bit small in the shoulders so I went with the small although it was a bit big everywhere but the shoulders.

Loved the jacket! It was long even for me as tall as I am, fit across my bust, and covered my chubby stomach. It has a natural waist and it will flatter anyone honestly! Color was great and hands down warm!

I use this coat everyday when the temperature is cold enough. It was great for our winter this year.

The quality of the coat is great, no complaints there. Unfortunately I am petite and the smallest size available XS still fits me too big. It looked like I was borrowing a coat from an older sibling.
