Beautiful coat but too long for me. I'm 5'1.

I have one in black and just bought another in navy. The coat kept me warm all day while walking in Boston as well as running errands throughout town.

I love the jacket! Very warm, and cozy! There is nothing you could not say goos about it. The slit at the bottom of the zipper makes moving very easy without tension on the zipper or worry it will rip.

Bought this because I wanted a truly warm winter parka, and this fits the bill. I sized up because I wanted to be able to wear a thick hoodie, jacket or layers underneath. The jacket definitely fits snugger than I would expect, especially when sitting down in the car with a seatbelt + layers. The shoulders are also a hair too tight, but I have that problem in almost every winter jacket I've ever owned. I'm also not a huge fan of the Velcro. Other than that - it's the perfect length, it's a flattering shape considering it's a down jacket, and the Vanadis gray color is beautiful, and has gotten quite a few compliments. All in all, it's a very nice, very, very warm jacket and I think it will hold up well in New England winters.

Love it! It is a little puffy at the bottom making it hard to squeeze in places.

This is a great coat if you spend a lot of time outdoors. I live in the North East and late fall to early spring can be brutally cold if spending time outdoors for any length of time -(kids sporting events). It is wind proof, which is exactly what I was looking for. It helps keep you warmer. I purchased a large because I like my coats roomier if it is not a dress coat. It has elastic which helps cinch the waist in the back, so it doesn't look like a sac. The shoulders are a bigger than desired, but small price to pay for a roomy warm/windproof coat. I gave it only 4 stars because of the velcro closure. The tab flap that covers the zippers has velcro tabs all the way down- which I find annoying- they get caught on clothing. The coat unzips from the bottom as well- which makes it easier to sit down- but then the velcro tabs are exposed - again I only took one star away for that because it's a small price to pay for such a quality coat. Overall- I'm so happy I purchased it. If you want a warm coat that blocks the wind and looks good- this is it.

This coat is extremely comfy and warm. I love the feminine fit, the zippered pockets with fuzzy lining, and waterproof outer. You get all the best parts of a quilted down jacket without the look. I REALLY wish the hood was completely detachable. You can take off the fur trim but not the hood. It won't even roll up and snap down out of the way like many others. I bought the Novelty Arctic Parka too because that one states you can, but it doesn't either. I'm not returning it though. It's a fantastic coat regardless.

This jacket is super warm and cozy. I love the length and the little tapering in the back. One thing that could be improved upon would be warmer pockets and I wish there were pockets in the inside.

Love, love this coat and had so many compliments on the fur. It was mistakenly put in the dryer and ruined. So disappointed that I can't buy new fur.

I've been wearing this coat in different colors since probably 2007 or 2008. Back in the day, TNF was a different brand than it is today, but for the most part, the gear is still decent. I've owned several Arctic Parkas and while it's a great jacket - warm, water resistant, comfy etc, the fit is always an issue. I was happy to see that this year, they seem to have worked out the middle section and sleeve issues as they are more true to size than the past few years. I bought a size Large this year. The shoulders are boxy and the top is roomier than my previous XL. The pockets are smaller and oddly more up and down than the previous models more natural slide in sideways. I am not 100% sure I am keeping it. I really wish they'd stop changing the sizing and features as otherwise, its a great jacket.

I've had this coat for a few winters. The color is fading badly!!! It looks cheap now. Also the down is clumping inside of the coat. Looks ratty now. Too bad for such an expensive coat.

Waterproof and insulation well done, a bit too heavy and bulk but it keeps you warm

This is an extremely warm, comfortable and durable coat. I use it in winter in the upper Midwest and it is the only coat that keeps me warm when it is below 20 degrees Fahrenheit and windy. I wear this coat all winter and early Spring in Chicago. I think the hood is great - the hood comes forward enough in front of your face to keep blowing snow off your face. I fold the fur back if it is not snowing. It is like wearing a warm, dry sleeping bag which is exactly what you want when it is below freezing out. I have one that is 10 years old and it looks new (I buy the black color because it shows no stains). I bought a second one 2 years ago because I could not find my original one in storage. Then I found the original one but kept both. The newer one was a bit less bulky and the outer fabric was softer so probably not quite as warm or durable but still very good. I think the stiff, thick fabric on the one from 10 years ago is probably more durable but the less bulky is more comfortable if it is not below zero outside. Both have held up like new. I am now ordering my third one because I gained weight and need a bigger size. The only negative is the when you zip it all the way up, the neck part of the coat hits me awkwardly under the chin since I am on the short side. So fully zipped my chin is inside the coat and the opening for the hood is around my mouth.

The parka itself is warm and long, exactly what I was looking for. The Medium, however, is a bit big, but the small was too tight through the hips for me. I'm 5'6 130 lbs.

It is a super warm coat, but was a little disappointed when I received it in the mail because the middle snap holding the fur to the hood keeps unsnapping. For the price I was hoping it to last a long time.

So I'm quite picky about my winger parkas. I tend to hold onto them for years, so it's gotta check off a lot of boxes. This one did just that. I loved that it had cuffs inside the sleeves for extra warmth. Nice, deep, fleece-lined pockets, an inner pocket (a must) and a nice generous hood that stays on even in the wind. I also liked that it's gathered in the back at the waist so it's not quite as boxy as other parkas. The one and only thing that I find I do not like is that when it's zipped all the way up to the chin, it does choke me a bit and I find myself pulling at it. Luckily, I don't have it zipped all the way up a ton. I would purchase this again. It's a super warm jacket and I do recess duty in the north east!
