I LOVE this coat. I bought it for an upcoming winter trip to Europe and I couldn't be more pleased. The fit is true to size. I'm 5'4" and rather curvy (especially in the bust). The XL fit me perfectly. The quality is excellent, which is to be expected from North Face items. I expect to wear this coat for many, many years to come.

Quality made, fits well--good color (the perfect green) . Very warm and cozy. Looks good (Not bulky). Worth the money.

this coat was a gift for my daughter, who lives in Chicago, where the winters are famously windy and very cold. She has told me that this coat is absolutely the warmest one she has ever had! It's also very good-looking, which counts, too.

I love this coat. Like some of the other reviews, mine is one of the older versions and is slightly different, but the basics are the same. I live in freezing, windy, Chicago and am always waiting for the train or bus in the winter and this is by far the best and warmest coat I've found. The hood is nice and big, great for pulling over your face in wet snow and keeping wind out, and the fur catches the snow nicely too keep it from dripping in your face. I also like to refer to the hood/fur connection point as a little gutter, it catches everything and you never have water running into your face. I've never had an issue with rain/snow soaking through the coat. If I had to give a complaint, the only thing I can come up with is that it can actually be TOO warm if the weather isn't really cold. I've worn mine for 4 winters now and it is still in great condition- at least another 2 winters in it.

This is an extremely warm coat with the added benefit of being very stylish with a bit of a feminine touch. Waterproof with an attached hood and filled with cozy down, I have no doubt this will keep me warm through the upcoming Minnesota winter. Within one hour of purchasing this coat, I wore it to Costco, and a random stranger approached me to compliment my coat and ask where I got it. I chose the fig green color, which is a beautiful contrast to the brown fur. The waterproof outer layer is very luxurious and soft for a waterproof shell.

Spent the last 2 years trying to find the right dog walking jacket for the UK rainy cold winter. FOUND IT. Walking my 2 dogs on the moors other jackets were too short or not warm enough or not waterproof enough especially after the last 3 winters we have had with drfiting snow one minute pooring rain and even the odd ice storm.
Today was the first test - torrential horizontal rain, cold and extremely windy. No we don't suffer the extremes of other parts of the world but I am so grateful I found this it is like walking with a duvet wrapped around you.
No more dreading a wet behind or knees my legs will be nice and dry. Going to take it ski-ing instead of living in my ski jacket night and day it will be nice to have something to wander around in at night.

I purchased this jacket for my baby's momma and she is so in love with it. It was like Christmas coming early, she tried it in and felt like a rock star. Enough of the satire, Northface sets the standard for other to follow with their products. The Women's Arctic Parka will be put to good use during the cold weather of New York. It will be put to the test with a trip to Chicago.

I usually wear a M/L. My last coat by Ralph Lauren was a medium. I ordered this coat based on the measurements but it 's too small. I need a large.

I live in very cold and windy Michigan. This coat holds up. The zipper is very cheap and not good quality at all.

The warmest coat I have ever owned. It's single digit and negative temperatures and I didn't feel cold at all! Just wish the coat was longer. Sits at my knees and I'm 5'5. Love the extra pockets!

This jacket is nice I would size up if your hippie it can be tight around the hips. The jacket is made straight with no curves so keep that in mind. Other then that beautiful jacket.

This is a nice coat and keeps me dry in the heaviest rain but - it's not the warmest coat that I've had. It's warm but the Columbia coats are much warmer than this even with the same fill. Plus the outside pockets are just too low and there's an inside chest pocket but I'd prefer outside chest pocket too.
I've had this coat for 3-4 years. It's great but can use some improvement

I love this jacket. I have owned it for a couple years in a different color. But I like the most is the long sleeves, I am 6 foot tall in the arms are actually long enough. When I saw this in tawny quartz, I immediately ordered it because I have been dying to have a brown jacket. When it arrived, it definitely has a purpleish tint to it. The interior definitely looks purple. I am on the fence if I will keep it as I was wanting brown and it looks purple.

Site says that the hood adjusts. It does not. No strings, no way to adjust it. The fur can be removed. That's it. Order your size. I'm a small to medium, but tall. I read these run "huge". They don't. I ordered the small and need a medium for shoulders and arms.
I have seen video of this parka (circa 2023) with someone adjusting the hood so they seem to have made them this way at one time. My present north face adjusts and it's a great coat. I wanted this one for the waterproof shell. It's a beautiful jacket but is going back.

Pretty warm, the fur around the hood seems to be stiff, almost wirey, gets bothers my face. I am not crazy about the thumb holes, they are not really warm, I will keep them folded up most of the time because they get in the way. The parka seems durable and relatively well made.

Seems very warm (waiting for the colder weather to wear this to walk my dogs).I originally ordered a size large based on the size chart (my waist and chest measurements were in the medium range, but hip measurement was right at a size large). The large was HUGE on me (for all measurements). Just received the medium and a much better fit. So I would say if you are unsure on size and on the border between 2 sizes, size down.

The parka has lasted me 5 years and still in perfect condition. I'd buy a new one if you had better color options. Purple, dark red, blue, green. Black, gray, and mocha is bland.

VERY warm, stylish, I get many compliments every time I wear it. I just wish the hood was bigger. Doesn't comfortably cover fully.

Great coat but rather long. Wish they offered petite sizes. Kept me warm through the winter. I got the tan color and it looks great. Also wish the sleeve was a bit shorter, but this was not a deal breaker.
