I recently bought this for my daughter who lives in the city and takes public transportation. She LOVES it!! It keeps her toasty warm and plus it is waterproof. I do not regret for one second buying this!!!

I go to a lot of snocross races so I am outside in really cold temperatures. I have been in Minnesota when they were having record-breaking temperatures and I wouldn't have wanted to wear any other coat. The length definitely adds warmth. The hood is really cute with the fur. Some down coats look bulky and unflattering but this one is a very nice shape.

This coat is great. It fits well and is nice and warm.

I ordered this as a birthday present. It is spectacular. I am rather hippie, so I sized up, but really, the M would have done just fine as well, really depends on what you intend on wearing underneath. It very fluffy, but not bulky, and the hood adjustable to enable a more restrained fit against the head. The sleeves have a neoprene-type lining which hugs the wrists perfectly - it keeps the jacket from bringing in draft through the sleeves. The zipper is a bit fussy, but no big issues. All in all, my husband is now itching for a similar jacket as well after seeing the quality!

I live in Las Vegas Nevada and the temperature gets in the low 40's during the winter time. I take my dogs to the dog park everyday go and spend an hour outside so I needed a really warm coat to with stand the cold winter days. I am ready now for winter.This coat is one of the best investments I have ever made!. Warm, light weight and stylish. I am very happy with my purchase. :)

After experiencing the polar vortex in Chicago last winter, I realized it was time for a new coat. This coat is super warm and very comfy, I highly recommend it.

I was most pleased to find this jacket. The length is perfect...hits at upper thigh, so I'm well covered. There are knit cuffs, so there's no breeze up the arms. There are snaps to secure the flap over the zipper (no velcro for junk to get caught on!), and this is the first hood ever that is not huge...it fits quite nicely. I love the fact that the puffy down is on the inside and that it has a smooth, fitted appearance (thanks for the little elastic in back!) on the outside. I like it so much, I've debated purchasing a second one for use years down the road in case someone foolishly stops making this one!

Questioning whether or not you should buy this or any NORTHFACE product? Sent my Artic Parka in to have a zipper replaced. After 6 or so years of playground duty it wasn't sliding correctly. Replaced, free postage, no problem! Remember this when you think you want to buy some other product, totally worth every penny---a forever warranty! Thanks North Face!

I love wearing this parka. It's so warm and easy to move around in. I'm a videographer and must be free to move around when working outside. It's perfect.

I was concerned after reading several reviews that the coat ran small. I am normally a medium with North Face apparel. I took a chance and ordered the medium anyway and I'm glad I did. I wear a lot of thick blazers for work and the medium fits over those just fine, as well as over chunky sweaters. I am 5'9 and about 155 lbs with pretty wide hips and am very pleased with the fit. I didn't want something too bulky looking; I wanted to be able to wear it to and from the office without looking like Randy from 'A Christmas Story'. This jacket has a very nicely defined waist, is the perfect length and has great pockets. The length hits me just right, at the middle of my thigh, which I love. The only thing I will say is that my chest is on the smaller side so I can see how if you are larger on top, a medium may be too snug. My concern was with the bottom of the coat fitting properly, which it does! As for warmth, it gets an A+. Super warm but not heavy by any means. I have another North Face coat that is also goose down and it feels like it weighs 10 lbs. This coat is lightweight but definitely warm enough to handle the unpredictable New England weather. Overall, I love this coat!

I received the parka about 4 days ago and so far I LOVE it. I live in Northern MN where temps have been in the teens and lower with the windchill and it has kept me warm for the short time I have had it. I am 5'5 and about 145 lbs (average build). Even though the fit tool recommended a medium I went with a size large based on other reviews and it fits perfectly and I can wear a sweater comfortably. I'm looking forward to having a warm coat that can withstand the cold MN winters.

Purchased this due to cold winter weather. I wore it to watch a football game. It kept me nice and warm despite the cold wind. I am looking forward to being warm outside. Now just to find the perfect boots.

It is warm, stylish and not too bulky. I love the grey color with the light fur around the hood. it's not easily pack able because it's a thick coat but it's great in every other way.

Beautifully designed coat. I like the color. Very impressive coat for plus size women. If your bust line is a C or D cup! The coat will be tight! I bought the XXL. It's the right size! I won't need to wear a sweater inside the coat. Very, very warm, especially for the cold weather we just got in Minnesota. This coat arrived on time! This coat is perfect for winter in chicago- blocks wind, waterproof, and the warmest but not cumbersome coat I have ever owned. I highly recommend it. It also looks nice as I've received many compliments! Not too long and not too short!

Since finding out I am allergic to wool I have been searching for a stylish warm coat to wear over suits to work. I ended up ordering the red one and LOVE it. Not too poofy just the right weight for cold winter days!!

I love this coat! It's flattering and functional. It has a clear waistline, and is something I'm happy to wear casually and to work, which is a professional setting. I live in Wisconsin, where the winters are harsh, and it works beautifully. I'm 5'5" at 150 lbs., and a Large fit nicely.

I shopped and I shopped until I had to stop. It wasn't to be found online or in our local store. I ordered another coat online and then.. I went back to the store and hence, there was more. I quickly bought the last large size in this style and got a return service and refund with a smile.

the quality and workmanship on this item was excellent. I know it would keep mw warm when I visit this winter in Chicago. The sizing on North Face coats and parka are different than other stores and brans. the XL left no rook in my middle for other winter clothes under it. Nice chocolate brown color. Ordered on line, but did take it in to the strode to return it. No problem with a refund. I did find a hat, wool socks, and gloves, Nice new store in south Coast Plaza. Crystal Court 2 nd level. Sale persons were very helpful.I am 73, short and pudgy in the middle.

Just moved from California to wisconsin and I needed a jacket to keep snuggled up in the unfamiliar thing called snow , this jacket nails it on the nose . It's incredibly warm , and stylish ! Many of the coats I was trying made me feel like I was wearing my comforter with a zipper not this one ! Truly well made great purchase ! I highly recommend it !

My Parka Winter Coat is amazing. Looking forward to wearing it this winter in Chicago. The material of the coat is wonderful and warm. Looking forward to wearing it during the Chicago Cold weather.

I came to freezing cold Wisconsin from trendy New York hoping to find a coat that would not only be fashionable but also protect me from 20 below zero temperatures. This coat does just that. I tried other cheaper coats but finally took the plunge and got the best of the best. Worth every penny.
