Finally a coat that will get me through winter in New Hampshire. It is waterproof, warm, has a great hood and fits well giving it a look that is more stylish than bulky. It's exactly what I wanted!

Haven't worn it quite yet, but this California girl is new to Minnesota and looking forward to wearing this jacket everyday come winter time, and maybe even late fall!!!

This coat is very attractive, slightly gathered in the back at the waste as to accentuate it. Great style.

It is my first winter in New York and before buying this Arctic Down, I was very skeptical about my survival in callous winter of this city. It keeps me insulated from wind and cold. The best part is, it doesn't make me look like an inflated shapeless balloon. Rather, it fits perfect even without belt around the waist. Few other good things - It has detachable hood, very stylish, breathable and waterproof.

This coat is the perfect jacket for the Chicago winter! Warm yet stylish. The coat is longer, but still feel comfortable moving around or sitting down on public transportation

I live in the metro Detroit area. Winters has been bitter cold in the last 2 years. I absolutely hate being cold, I layer and probably own everything that could possibly keep me warm except a decent coat. My fianc got this coat for me last year because I had been eyeing it for a few months prior. I love this coat because it keeps me warm and it looks great on me. I have the black one with with multi color (black white gray ) fur lining. I hate the bubble coat and I was looking for something other than a pea coat or bubble coat *yuck*. I do have troubles with the zipper and I usually don't wear this coat when I am going to the mall to shop. If you do beware, you will burn up or be annoyed carrying it everywhere with you. Excited to use this coat again his year since they are predicting another bitter cold winter.

Have been looking for a coat that was both very warm and waterproof. Haven't tested extreme temps in it yet, but am trusting that it will keep me toasty at -40!

I needed a down jacket warm enough for a cold NY winter. I love walking and hiking, which this jacket is great for and feels comfortable to wear for long stretches of time. I think it also looks stylish enough to wear when going out for a night on the town.

During the winter time, the Parka is put to use until the winter season is over. I have tried other coats, but they did not keep me as warm as the Parka. I found myself layering clothes to keep me warm with other coats. With the Parka I don't have that problem. This is the second time I am buying a coat from The North Face. The first one I had, was similar to the Parka and it lasted for four years. I am a pleased customer. I don't have any negative comments.

I received this Same model coat for a Christmas gift, 2 years ago. It was the best coat I've ever had . warm. Wind resistate, light weight

I bought my second north face coat in 2001 and I am just now replacing it. I would look forward to the winter so that I can wear my north face. The excellent quality of the coats last a very, very long time. I was never cold, never wet. I recommend this brand of coats, jackets, parka's and apparel to everybody that's looking for a good coat to buy.

This parka keeps me warm from knees to head in cold weather and it's comfortable to wear. The lining and shell are soft. Love the soft fur on the hood and it's removable. Many pockets more than enough to store my items. Inside the cuffs have another layer of fabric to cover up my hands and that prevent cold air to get in.

This is a beautiful jacket very comfortable and warm.

Well as you know winter is coming. You should have a warm, nice waterproof and windproof coat before start winter :O. This coat is a excellent product for winter, which fit with all requirements.
