My 83 year old mother loves her parka. It keeps her warm and fashionable and is the solution for going outside without being cold.

I have worn this once since I got it and it was around 20degree Celcius here in the late Colorado Fall. I had a medium weight sweater underneath and boots on and I was warm. This jacket feels like wearing a blanket but stylish. It's soft and cozy and very lightweight. I can even move freely in it. I am so glad I found and bought it!

I moved to Fargo, ND last year and needed something to make the miserably cold and windy winters somewhat tolerable. I have a Columbia, but it didn't even begin to keep me warm with the wind here in ND. I was hesitant to spend this much money on a winter jacket, I've never had good luck finding anything warm enough. I'm very impressed. This jacket is warm, windproof, and doesn't make me feel like a giant marshmallow. I also was happy that the hood comes off. The fake fur look isn't my style, so being able to take that off was a top selling point for me. The coat looks really nice, which was another top requirement since I'm in front of clients most of my days. As far as size- I am 5'7"/130 lbs and ordered a Medium- it fits well. Not too loose or too tight. I can still wear a decently thick sweater with this jacket and it isn't uncomfortable. My only "con" so to speak is that the zipper is a pain sometimes and just won't zip without a LOT of effort. That being said, I would definitely buy the jacket again.

I purchased this as a gift to my mother who complains she can never get a winter coat warm enough for the Northeast winters. She has already worn this in the low temperature of the 30's and loves it.

Love coat for college

This is my first winter in Boston (MA) and I am from Spain...so my winter it is very different than this. After having nigthmares with the cold that is coming (the last winter was the worst in the last 40 years...), and researching every brand of winter coats (Canada goose, Woolrich, Patagonia...etc) and their fills, their weights...etc, I decided to buy this one of North Face and I am very very happy with my decision, for now...I think it is the best choice between price and quality.

This coat is great. I travel on train and bus to work every single morning and it keeps me warm and dry. I have worn it up in the mountains and have had great success with it. The hood was slightly a little big for my head so I had to remove the fur because it would block my vision. The main zipper is sometimes hard to get it to start to zip. You really have to pay attention to it. Also it will start to unzip from the bottom up which is slightly annoying.

Exceeded my expectations. Love everything about this coat and so glad I decided to spend the cash.

This Parka is gorgeous. I just received mine in green. It fits so well and looks great. Best of all, for me, is that I got to wear this tonight outside in around 35degrees C, and I only had a long thin sweater underneath (and no gloves), and I was very warm in it! Very pleased. And it's beautifully made too.

This is my favorite winter jacket I have ever owned. I live in New England and thus am almost always in cold weather. This jacket was a life saver last winter. I can layer and still be able to move. It is stylish, not too puffy, and so warm!

I have never owned a north face product. I just love it. I am always cold and when I walk the dog I really block the wind. Looking forward to wearing it this winter.

Very warm jacket, very lightweight, and very comfortable. Everything I'm looking for in a jacket. I've owned quite a few winter jackets before, but this is by far the most comfortable!

Originally got this jacket for Christmas last year in a medium and it just felt too big especially around the waist. Got a small this season and it fits much better, very warm and perfect for cold weather when you also want to look stylish.

This jacket is perfect for winters in the Pacific Northwest! Finding the perfect all around jacket for Portland has been difficult. I did a lot of window shopping for a jacket that would suit all of my needs: Waterproof for the very wet fall and winter seasons, warm enough for the bitter cold and clear days but fitted and flattering enough to dress up or down. This jacket is going to be just the ticket! The down insulation is fantastic, trapping body heat when standing and waiting for the bus. With all of my other jackets I end up freezing once I stop moving, even with multiple layers on. The rain is of course my biggest issue when choosing a jacket, especially with down insulation (which tends to do poorly when wet). The North Face uses great waterproof material on their jackets. I haven't had this jacket for very long, but I've owned a different North Face jacket with a similar waterproof exterior for a couple of years and it has stood the test of time with constant wear and wet weather. It does tend to lose some of its waterproofing abilities over time, but if you follow the proper care instructions you can definitely revive the waterproofing and extend the lifespan. I'm very petite at 5'0", with broad shoulders and narrow waste. This makes it challenging to find jackets that are comfortable in the shoulders, but fitted enough in the waste to give me some shape. The XS fits me perfectly in the shoulders and the cinched, adjustable waistline gives me a fitted enough look to not look like a marshmallow! It is long enough to cover part of my thighs and booty adding to the weather protection. It is comfortable to move around or sit down in. I'm really happy with this jacket so far, but I'm especially excited to test it out when the weather gets really cold in a couple of months.

Well for a long time I wanted a NorthFace coat, but couldn't find a style to fit me. In stores I could not find my sizes so I never got one until recently, I got my coat and I love it, it fits me in the chest area where I am full at. It also flatters my shape, I am so happy its not heavy and I can still where something else under it. I also am looking forward to purchasing the Women Dunagiri Jacket, I Love the fact that the coats come in XXL, you should also have your stores carry a few of them also.

I love this jacket. It keeps me so warm and comfortable. I give it a 10/10.

Zappos has the best service ever!At first, they accidentally sent me a wrong size, after talking to the super nice customer service lady, they sent me a new one right away, and I received it in 2 days! The lady even told me to hold onto the first one and compare it to the new one so I could actually pick the one that fits me the best! Zappos is absolutely incredible! FYI, the jacket has super nice quality, and doesn't make you look bulky if you get the right size. I'm super happy with the product and I have been wearing it everyday!
