This is my daily coat and it's awesome. It's very warm and comfortable for daily wear.

This coat is worth the cost! The style is great and it fits snug, which looks good, yet still has room to breathe. I really like the detachable hood feature. Prior to seeing the coat, I was worried about potential durability issues with reattaching the hood. Once the coat was delivered and I detached then reattached the hood, it became clear that this product was built for durability. The cost may seem high, but based on warmth, comfort, style, and utility, the coat is worth every penny.

I bought this parka in green and have worn it everyday since it arrived in the mail. It's a great compromise between a stylish, not-so-warm jacket and the inevitable "puffy jacket" that I was trying to avoid. The color is great and I find that it goes with almost anything.

Protects me from the wind

This is such a great coat. Exceeded my expectations. I would buy this coat a million times. You get what you pay for. I wear this everywhere I go!

This is my first Chicago winter and we had a record snow fall at the weekend. This coat kept me warm and dry and I really enjoyed wearing it. It's relatively light for a big coat but heavy enough to keep you feeling cozy. The hood is great for keeping you warm in cold windy weather too

Fantastic product, no complaints

Expected high quality from North Face and received it.

Ordered the green color and I love it! I was a little worried the fur would look cheap, but it doesn't at all. I also love the adjustable strap on the back of the hood. I'm 5'4" and the length is perfect, I don't feel like it makes me look shorter.

Great Quality Jacket! I love how it keeps me really toasty in the cold winter season! I recommended it to my daughter and hopefully she will love it like I do :)

My 83 year old mother loves her parka. It keeps her warm and fashionable and is the solution for going outside without being cold.

I have worn this once since I got it and it was around 20degree Celcius here in the late Colorado Fall. I had a medium weight sweater underneath and boots on and I was warm. This jacket feels like wearing a blanket but stylish. It's soft and cozy and very lightweight. I can even move freely in it. I am so glad I found and bought it!

I moved to Fargo, ND last year and needed something to make the miserably cold and windy winters somewhat tolerable. I have a Columbia, but it didn't even begin to keep me warm with the wind here in ND. I was hesitant to spend this much money on a winter jacket, I've never had good luck finding anything warm enough. I'm very impressed. This jacket is warm, windproof, and doesn't make me feel like a giant marshmallow. I also was happy that the hood comes off. The fake fur look isn't my style, so being able to take that off was a top selling point for me. The coat looks really nice, which was another top requirement since I'm in front of clients most of my days. As far as size- I am 5'7"/130 lbs and ordered a Medium- it fits well. Not too loose or too tight. I can still wear a decently thick sweater with this jacket and it isn't uncomfortable. My only "con" so to speak is that the zipper is a pain sometimes and just won't zip without a LOT of effort. That being said, I would definitely buy the jacket again.

I purchased this as a gift to my mother who complains she can never get a winter coat warm enough for the Northeast winters. She has already worn this in the low temperature of the 30's and loves it.

Love coat for college

This is my first winter in Boston (MA) and I am from Spain...so my winter it is very different than this. After having nigthmares with the cold that is coming (the last winter was the worst in the last 40 years...), and researching every brand of winter coats (Canada goose, Woolrich, Patagonia...etc) and their fills, their weights...etc, I decided to buy this one of North Face and I am very very happy with my decision, for now...I think it is the best choice between price and quality.

This coat is great. I travel on train and bus to work every single morning and it keeps me warm and dry. I have worn it up in the mountains and have had great success with it. The hood was slightly a little big for my head so I had to remove the fur because it would block my vision. The main zipper is sometimes hard to get it to start to zip. You really have to pay attention to it. Also it will start to unzip from the bottom up which is slightly annoying.

Exceeded my expectations. Love everything about this coat and so glad I decided to spend the cash.

This Parka is gorgeous. I just received mine in green. It fits so well and looks great. Best of all, for me, is that I got to wear this tonight outside in around 35degrees C, and I only had a long thin sweater underneath (and no gloves), and I was very warm in it! Very pleased. And it's beautifully made too.

This is my favorite winter jacket I have ever owned. I live in New England and thus am almost always in cold weather. This jacket was a life saver last winter. I can layer and still be able to move. It is stylish, not too puffy, and so warm!

I have never owned a north face product. I just love it. I am always cold and when I walk the dog I really block the wind. Looking forward to wearing it this winter.

I go to college up north and this parka is a life saver. The fit is perfect - it is stylish and flattering while also thick and warm for extra cold weather conditions. Love it!
