I love this coat! Living in Chicago, you've got to have a warm coat that covers your backside. I bought this coat in TNF Medium Gray Heather, and I couldn't be happier. The length is great and it does an incredible job protecting against wind which has been so useful on days when the temperature dips below -20F with the windchill. I've worn it in snow and freezing rain with no problems staying dry. I'll admit, when I first tried it on, I wasn't sure I liked it. It's a bit puffy, though it does cinch in at the waist to keep you from looking like a big marshmallow. Over time, I've grown to love it. I think it is pretty elegant looking for a coat that has kept me warm in temperatures less than zero. If you live somewhere with a cold winter, I highly recommend it.

I had gotten this coat as a gift about 10 years ago and loved it. Living in MN you need a really warm winter coat and this was it. I decided to get a new one this year and its still as good as my first one. So warm with the down fill and I like that its longer to give me more coverage from the wind and cold. Its going to be -20 this weekend and I know I will be staying warm in this coat! I would recommend this to anyone!

I grew up in New England and have lived in Atlantic Canada for almost a decade and I don't know how I lived through winters without this jacket. This jacket is by far the warmest I've ever owned. It's also the first jacket I've bought that claimed to be windproof and actually was, even in sub-zero (fahrenheit) weather. Highly recommended.

The parka is great! Wonderful service when by mistake I ordered 2 and when I called the next morning to cancel one was told it was shipped already. Some lovely person told me not to worry she would take care of it and she did! The second one did not arrive which saved me the time of having to return it if it did. Thankful to that girl because I had just had foot surgery and would not have been able to do that.

Got this for my daughter. She is 5'4" and 110 and we got the extra small. We ended up returning it and getting the small instead. I would say sizes are true to fit, she just wouldn't listen to her mother. : )

Had the chance to wear it right away after I got it on a snowy day. I was skeptical at first about the level of warmth this coat provide but was surprise at how warm it is. This coat is my new favorite.

I really loved this coat immediately but I ran into a fit issue mentioned by other reviewers. I ordered my standard size but the coat was snug in the shoulders and across the hip. I decided to return it and bought another longer down jacket and a shorter one, as well. I opted to not go up a size with the original coat because it may have been too large and I felt the sleeves would have been to long. That said, I still give this jacket the highest rating because of the quality and design. It's worth taking a shot to see if it fits properly.

Love the color, style, and how durable and warm it is. I got the extra small size, which fits well. I am 5'2" and 108 lbs. But if you have wider hips I suggest unbuttoning the last button of the coat to allow you to move and/or sit down better without feeling constricted. Overall, I would recommend this coat to anyone who wants to stay warm!

Love my coat, just a tad too small but would purchase this coat again. Love the feel of down and the warmth. Need to offer more colors and perhaps a longer version for those of us that hate for our legs to be cold as well.

The coat looks heavy but it isn't at all. Very warm and great for the cold New Jersey weather!! I don't mind being in the cold!

I wish it was a bit bigger in the bust area. I bought a medium, I'm a C cup, but it will probably be tight if I wear a bulky sweater.

I love that this parka has all you need. Durable quilted lining. Goose down Good zipper and snap buttons (no velcro.) Insilated hood that close fitting and is held on by toggle at top of hood so it does not fall down in wind. Close fit around legs not bell shaped and does a great job at keeping cold air out. Not as puffy as other parkas...a bonus when you sit down.

So cute for being sooooo warm!

Graphite Grey Heather is gorgeous and is a very close grey to the TNF Heather Grey. The lining of the jacket is kinda funky, like it belongs on a snowboard jacket. However, it's on the inside and that doesn't bother me. Purchased this based on others' reviews for the purpose of braving NYC winters. It's plenty warm and I can wear a sweater and layers underneath a Small. I'm 5'2" and 120 pounds.

I love this parka! I'm 5'7" and 155lbs, curvy. I bought a Large and ended up exchanging for a medium. The large was roomy and had quite a bit of extra space in the body of the parka. The decision to get a medium was tough, but it fit better (was a bit tight and the sleeves weren't as long, but it did fit better). Super stylish, VERY warm, comfortable, well constructed. I love it! Purchased with a black friday deal and got a great price!Great for the frigid WI winters!

After hearing good things about north face jackets . I finally decided to get one at first I was confused but then my husband suggested me this jacket and am so very happy that I can survive the harsh Minnesota winters .

I've always wanted to invest in a goose down jacket but never wanted the bulk of poof of it. This jacket is amazing! It is super warm, comes in at the waist to add some shape instead of looking like a balloon and is great for cold days here in Maine!

I love this coat! I live in jersey and a couple of days ago it was so cold my face wanted to freeze off, the rest of my body however was so hot I wanted to rip the coat off of me! All I was wearing underneath was a t-shirt and a thin hoodie.
