I am in the hockey rink all winter watching games. This rink suits this purpose perfectly! I could wear a t-shirt under this jacket and still be warm enough. It's nice not to have to wear multiple layers to stay warm. Great jacket for cold weather!

Perfect for the winter time. Arrived just on time because it was starting to drop below 20 degrees that week. Moment I put on the jacket, instant warmth. Great, especially when waiting for the bus to go to work, gets the job done. Comfy and I really like the inner pockets included, what a surprise.

I bought this coat a couple weeks ago and I love it! It has kept me warm through negative degree weather and brutal winds! I couldn't be happier with my purchase!

I am so happy I found this coat. I was lucky enough to get it on sale in July or August at an outlet mall for about $110. It was a steal. My partner and I both got one, in different colors. We knew we would be moving to Chicago and wanted to prepare. This is our first winter here. We used to think we had warm coats. Collectively, we've lived in Massachusetts; Erie, PA; and Pittsburgh, PA, so cold, snowy weather was nothing new to us. Once we bought these coats, however, we couldn't believe that the old coats we thought were warm were nothing compared to these North Face coats. I wear it every day for commuting to work, dog walking, walking to get groceries, and for other general winter usage. I haven't really tried doing any serious physical activity in these. It might be too warm for some activities. I'm the kind of person who is cold ALL THE TIME, but with this coat I'm warm even just wearing a thin long sleeve shirt underneath. Whenever I wear blazers to work underneath the coat, I actually start to overheat. It's not a bad thing! I love this coat so much. The sleeves have inner sleeves that are tighter on your skin to prevent air from coming in. The fur on the hood is awesome and really blocks out wind on your head. I also love that it's pretty water repellent for days when there's really wet snowfall. At first I was worried this would be too bulky, but seriously, this coat has changed my life. It looks good too.

This coat is true to its name: an arctic parka! We ended up in Ouray County, CO during a crazy winter storm with temps at 20 below zero and winds in the 40 mph range. This coat kept me warm and dry through the whole trip. In fact, I occasionally had to unzip it because I was too warm! I purchased an extra large because I hate when sleeves are too short. This one was perfect. I only wished I had ordered the large as it truly does fit true to size. I am 5' 10' and 165 lbs. It falls at about mid to lower thigh. It doesn't feel too bulky and will definitely keep you warm and dry in rain, wind or snow.

Every day use. Does the work in cold weather!

This coat is the best investment I've ever made. It is gorgeous. I ordered the Deep Garnet Red Heather. Perfect fit. I wear a 10-12 and ordered an XL. I like a looser fit. I was expecting a bulky coat since it said "Parka" but that is not the case. I bought it for the Iowa winters and lately it's been below 0.It is so warm and cozy. You won't go wrong with this coat!

There are not enough good things I can say about the Arctic Down Parka !!!!! I am beyond in love with this coat !!!! I ordered it in November, but it wasn't cold enough to wear it until now. I have never worn a warmer coat in my entire life. It has been unbelievably cold & windy this past week, like in the teens & with this coat I don't even feel it, & I am usually freezing all the time. When I read the specs regarding the length I thought it was going to be way too long because I'm not even 5 feet tall & under 100 lbs, but I ordered the black in an XS & it fits like it was made just for me.The length is absolutely perfect as it falls right above my knee, which is exactly where I wanted it & it is tapered at the waist which gives it a nice silhouette.And I can't even put into words how much I love the fur on the hood & also that the hood is adjustable so it doesn't fall in your face. This is the first North Face coat I've owned & I will never buy another brand ever. My only disappointment is that it doesn't come in brown so I can have 2.

The perfect jacket for Chicago weather. Fits perfectly and keeps me toasty.

My wife looked at other jackets this style. We both agree that nothing touches The North Face quality and style and of course the Warranty. Our North Face gear keeps growing .

Best investment for winter!

I was thoroughly impressed with this parka. I had my reservations due to the thickness of the jacket. But after spending the day hiking in thigh deep snow. I was warm and dry. Didn't feel the wind or the snow. Would definitely would recommend this parka.

I bought this coat for my fiancee and she loves it.

I purchased this coat for my daughter at least 10 years ago and she has worn every winter season, almost every day. When she asked for a new one, I did not have any reservations about the purchase. Great coat, practical, warm and looks great. She is giving her old coat that still looks good to her sister as a back up coat!

What a great cold weather parka! Thoughtful design, durable quality materials, keeps me warm and it's cute!

I love this coat! Living in Chicago, you've got to have a warm coat that covers your backside. I bought this coat in TNF Medium Gray Heather, and I couldn't be happier. The length is great and it does an incredible job protecting against wind which has been so useful on days when the temperature dips below -20F with the windchill. I've worn it in snow and freezing rain with no problems staying dry. I'll admit, when I first tried it on, I wasn't sure I liked it. It's a bit puffy, though it does cinch in at the waist to keep you from looking like a big marshmallow. Over time, I've grown to love it. I think it is pretty elegant looking for a coat that has kept me warm in temperatures less than zero. If you live somewhere with a cold winter, I highly recommend it.

The parka is great! Wonderful service when by mistake I ordered 2 and when I called the next morning to cancel one was told it was shipped already. Some lovely person told me not to worry she would take care of it and she did! The second one did not arrive which saved me the time of having to return it if it did. Thankful to that girl because I had just had foot surgery and would not have been able to do that.

This product is for everyday use especially when the weather is terrible

I grew up in New England and have lived in Atlantic Canada for almost a decade and I don't know how I lived through winters without this jacket. This jacket is by far the warmest I've ever owned. It's also the first jacket I've bought that claimed to be windproof and actually was, even in sub-zero (fahrenheit) weather. Highly recommended.

I had gotten this coat as a gift about 10 years ago and loved it. Living in MN you need a really warm winter coat and this was it. I decided to get a new one this year and its still as good as my first one. So warm with the down fill and I like that its longer to give me more coverage from the wind and cold. Its going to be -20 this weekend and I know I will be staying warm in this coat! I would recommend this to anyone!
