I had ordered an XL at first for extra room by t was way too bigZ the large is perfect with a little room for layers underneath. I love the color and the shape and it is so warm!

This is the coat I bought in 2014 fall for the winter in Iowa. This coat will literally save your life. I lived in Des Moines/Urbandale and the winds blow and the temps are - 40! It is no joke and you better have a warm coat or else. I am a Cali girl on top of that and I have ZERO cold weather acclimation. This coat is THE coat! I layered a bit with an undershirt and long sleeved shirt. That was it and I was WARM outside in that crazy cold weather! I could also wear it above zero too :D LOL! Fit true to size. I was a large but bought an extra large in case I wore a heavy sweater with it. SADLY I flew into San Francisco Airport with my beloved coat that was almost new at the time considering this coat will last a lifetime - and went into a few shops and the long delayed lay over there. Along the way I realized I didn't have my beloved coat with me :'( I retraced my steps and my coat WAS GONE! Someone stole my coat and I never saw my beloved coat again. Of course I have purchased NorthFace since. I don't trust anything else. But who ever stole my beloved coat made the score of a lifetime. Luckily I was moving back to California. It would have been sad if I still lived in Iowa and needed this coat!!! I LOVE Northface and trust no one else. The cost is inexpensive considering the superior quality of their products. I am sold for life. I bought their very best snow boots too, when I lived in Iowa. I still have them, no one got a chance to steal those :D < 3 LOVE YOU NORTHFACE!

I love this coat!! Worth every penny! Not too bulky and so incredibly cozy! I love that the sleeves have the extra sleeve on the interior to prevent airflow up your arms. Its a thick coat but still helps to flatter the female figure! I love this coat and know it will last me years!

Warm, comfortable and waterproof. Never before having all three qualities in one coat. I love it.

This coat is the reason I can leave the house and continue on with my life in these super cold Seattle winters. If I ever have to escape a house fire, this is one of the first things I'd grab.

Awesome coat. Only things I wish were different are the front pockets -not comfortable to put your hand into because they are designed to prevent things falling out- and the hood doesn't stay up against the wind. Other than that, very warm, comfortable, looks & fits great.

I bought this coat for my mom. She needed a new warm coat. I tried it on at a local store and found it ran a bit small, so I sized up for her. I actually bought myself the same exact coat after receiving the coat for my mom. It is a little bulky, but mainly because I sized up for comfort. I would recommend this coat to anyone who needs it for light snow activity and everyday winter warmth and element protection.

I just moved to Chicago and with it being my first winter here, I needed something durable and warm. I am outside walking to the bus/train a lot so this coat had many good reviews already. I bought it and two days later, I had already got it in the mail. Love the color, the pockets are deep, love the inside pocket and the headphone holder inside the coat. Overall, I am a fan of the coat, it keeps me warm and blocks the wind in this windy city.

Always wanted a northface coat. Wonderfully warm. No need for layers. Very comfortable.

I've been looking for a wonderful winter coat for years. This is definitely it. It is not too bulky, but heavy enough to keep you very warm. Waterproof and windproof is a necessity for me. It is very cozy. I absolutely love the color. Pockets are deep, quality zippers, and nice silhouette for heavy winter coat.

Purchased this coat for my girlfriend. It's so warm that it actually backfired on me. Need to purchase one for myself now...I'm freezing and it doesn't phase her sitting outside in freezing weather. She thanks me everyday for it. Got her a large based on her height and weight and it fits perfectly. If you're hesitant on spending the extra money for a Northface, just do it! You'll be happy you did, or cold like me if you don't.

Product is a great use for cold weather and it's also waterproof great for when it rains.

I am a student who studies abroad. I bought this product 2 weeks ago. But I have to return it because my mom doesn't allow me to buy it. I don't know why. But now, I am a student so I respect my mom's opinion about this. If I am in independent, I will by it immediately. Because I looked for a simple coat but still fashionable, warm and comfortable. That is all things that a coat needs. And this product is perfect

I like the coat very much and decided to keep it even though it fits me a bit snugly in the hips. If you are curvy and are larger in the hips in proportion to your bust size, it may be too small. Since it is only slightly tight on my, I am using the coat as incentive to lose a few inches below the waist.

Great for keeping warm on Columbia campus in the cold winter months!

Great jacket!!

I bought this jacket to wear while visiting family in Minnesota. Growing up there, I remember how cold the wind can be and wanted a jacket that kept the wind out. This jacket did just that! It was super warm a easy to move in. I recommend this jacket.

I purchased this item so that I would have an adequate coat for when my travel requires me to visit very cold climates.

So let me start by saying I brought my first North Face coat when I was 18, I am now 30 and it's still in great condition. The only reason I brought a new coat was because my husband was tired of my old coat!! The new coat is great, I tend to have issues with coats because I'm larger up top but not so much at my stomach. The coat is a dash snug on my breast but fits normally every where else. The length is great I don't have to pull it up to sit in the car or chair. The fur on the hood rolls out so it extends a bit more. The material isn't restricting. The bottom zipper also zips up. Overall love it.

I own this jacket in green and I love everything about it. It gets a low as 0-30 degrees where I live and I can walk my dog with only a t-shirt underneath and not be cold. On windy days I don't feel a thing. It's so true to size and very comfortable. I normally wear a size medium for tops and this fits perfectly and I have room for a sweatshirt. I bought this for my mom as a Christmas gift and she loves it just as much as I do. Such a great jacket. I would recommend this to everyone!
