I love this jacket! We have been having record low temperatures this winter, and this jacket helped keep me warm! I love the longer length. The jacket runs a little small, so if you plan to wear layers under it, I would suggest sizing up!

I absolutely love this jacket. I'm an avid winter walker, and in Minnesota, weeks of sub-zero weather are common. I wear this coat outside for long walks and it keeps me snuggly warm - it blocks wind, traps heat, and keeps me dry when it snows. I especially love the large, secure zipper pockets, and the thermal wrist holes at the end of the sleeves. It's an all around A+ from me!

I spent many months prior to my purchase searching for a jacket for your heavier than average girl. I'm approaching my 30's and have always lacked self confidence and when it came to winter and cold weather I hated doing anything outside or going any where because I didn't have a stylish jacket that was warm. In Wisconsin, winter lasts longer than your average season and I gave up searching for an XXL jacket that was stylish, name-brand, and warm but Christmas and super cold temperatures was quickly approaching and I never thought to look at TNF for a jacket. The day I visited TNF online, I placed my order. Thank you so much TNF for making a jacket in this size, of this great quality. For once in many years, I have confidence wearing a jacket that is stylish and made for women of my size. You have no idea how frustrating it is to search store wracks through and through looking for a jacket that is of high quality and true to size let alone beautiful and actually warm! You will love this jacket. If you're on the fence about if it will fit... don't be. This jacket it true to size. Bravo TNF and thanks again! P.s. I totally caught my husband slipping my jacket on to let the dog out when it was nearly 20 below zero because of me raving about how soft and warm it is and how the length keeps the cold out!

Faire affaire avec North Face est d'une efficacit et d'une simplicit incomparables. Ce manteau est confectionn avec grand soin, il est lger, doux et sa simplicit fait sa beaut. Le fait qu'il soit cintr avantage la silhouette, mme dans le XL, mais ne serre aucunement. Hautement recommand !

A gift for my daughter. She loves it. She keeps calling to tell me how warm it is. Temps here have been in single figures for the past two weeks.

If you want a parka that worth it's price, but this one!

Had to exchange for a M but all in all very good winter jacket. Can't speak for longevity, but if TNF quality is consistent then I'm sure it will be worth its price. My NF jackets purchased 5 years ago are still looking new.

This is my favorite coat thus far. It is a great length and goes to my knees (size medium, I am 5' 8''). Although it is a long coat, I have not had an restriction issue when taking long strides, but there is a second zipper that comes up if needed. The second zipper would be handy when riding a bicycle. It is warm in below-zero weather. When fully zipped/with the hood up, only my eyes are exposed to cold air. The fur is detachable, as is the hood as a whole. The only thing I would change is the inner lining at the end of the sleeves. I wish it was a bit longer to easily and securely tuck gloves, or have a slit to hook thumbs.

This was a great investment, it keep me nice and warm while walking to class or when I'm off to the gym. I wear this anytime I have to leave my place in the winter time. I definitely recommend buying. Plus it doesn't hide your curves which is a bonus.

I've had this jacket For two Chicago winters and it is the best jacket I've ever owned. It's completely wind proof and I can wear this jacket with just a half sleeved T-shirt on in 10 degrees weather and feel perfectly comfortable! I highly recommend it.

I bought and returned 3 coats last winter because non of them passed the cold/wind test for me. They all allowed cold air into the sleeves and around the shoulders. I found this North Face coat (last year's model) at a sporting goods store in early Dec. and thought I'd try it.I got it just in time for our first snow storm. I live in NYC and ride my bike daily. The two way zipper allows easy mounting and dis-mounting of the bike and the coat is completely wind and water proof. I've never owned such a fantastically warm, light weight, weatherproof coat. I absolutely love it.

Awesome winter coat! Love the long bottom for these cold Midwest winters. Great color and great fit. Lots of pockets for keys and wallet. Very cozy and warm. Best winter coat I ever had. Highly recommended!

Love, love, love this parka. Great for the sub-zero windchills of Chicago. I chose this style because I am short and curvy and puffer coats are not flattering. This coat provides the warmth I need without adding the bulk I don't need. My only wish is that The North Face would make a full length version of this parka.

MY hubby gave this to me for christmas and its the best winter coat out there! It will really keep you warm! Worth every penny!

I am in love with this coat! I needed something to survive the brutal New England winters. I thought it was ridiculous to buy a $1000 coat. This coat is a fair price and the purple is perfect for me.

Great jacket for any occasion. Keeps you very warm in the cold days,. Its very comfortable and lightweight. I would recommend this to anyone.

Love this coat. I purchased this one vs the others as it's wind and water resistant, critical for New Jersey winters. It's cozy but lightweight, which I love. I am 5'7 133 lbs and was hedging on the SM but am pleased with the MED.

5'2" 141 lbs M fits well. Super warm wearing one sweater and a scarf in NYC at 27 degree weather. I purchased one for my mom in size small. We both love the black color. I love all the dark colors NF offers.

My daughter is moving from North Carolina to Chicago !!!! This holiday she was all about getting ready for the big move. She did her research on warmest coats and gave me this gift idea for this coat .... while on the website I browsed and bought other stuff. Northface is now our favorite brand. We are all gonna need new sets of warm clothes for Chicago !!!! I'm glad we have one brand and place to go where we are ensured a great product from a company who knows how to keep us warm !!!!
