This jacket is the real deal it every thing they said it is, it's really warm and I love the shape of this jacket

I love this jacket because it is warm and stylish. However, one thing i dislike about this is the hood. The hood is somewaht small and the faux furr on the hood stops halfway down your ears.

Got the coat just in time for the last couple of winter storms. Although I didn't get to test it in a downpour, It was great in moderate snow. Definitely warm enough for average PA winters. I got a large (having exchanged a medium) to allow room for a layer underneath. The hood provides good coverage.

I bought this coat after going through coats where the zipper would break. I bought a small and this coat is perfect! It is true to size and looks great on me. It is also not to long. It is extremely warm! I am so happy I bought it!

I am 5'4'' and 120 pounds. I took a chance on XS, and it fit fine enough, but it restricted my movement, and I wouldn't have had enough space to move around in it. I really loved the slim silhouette though! Like other reviewers said, the collar is very stiff and not comfortable zipped all the way up.

In all, I ordered 7 jackets for my daughter to try. She is going to college in the fall and needs something warm but nice looking. This by far stood above all others. She is 5'11" and normally a medium. We went up a size to get the arms a little longer. She has grown up skiing and is used to cold weather. However, during a visit, another student said a ski jacket wouldn't cut it and she would want a long North Face Parka. This will take her from walking to class to her internship in style. The red was beautiful, but we returned it for the more practical black. She is enamored with the gift!!

I used this coat for a trip to Sequoia during a recent snow storm. It kept me warm and dry, I only needed a single layer underneath and I was perfectly warm. The hood is nice and big and keeps the snow and wind out, and it also zips up high to keep your neck warm too. The Sequoia red color was like a burnt red, which I liked because I didn't want all black. I paired this with snow pants and TNF snow boots and I was dry even when walking in knee deep snow. I would buy this again and again, and am definitely buying TNF coats for my kids.

Winter is way too long where I love and we have spells were the weather is not compatible for me and going outside! But not with north face clothing; this woman's artic parka has you covered in all areas to keep you Warm! and stylish. Plus with the great quality and warranty, your set for a good long time. What's not to like.

Absolutely love this jacket! One of the best purchases I have ever made. I'm the type of person who gets cold easily, but with this jacket I'm not afraid to go out into the cold winter weather anymore.

This is my go-to winter jacket. It's is extremely water proof, warm, and comfortable. It is a slimmer fit, but is also flexible.

Love this coat - was looking for a warm but dressier looking coat that wasn't a pea coat. This has a tailored look that makes it look dressy but is nice and warm!

I didn't realize how much I was missing out with my previous not-waterproof, non-hooded, and small jacket. This jacket is incredibly cozy- it's not too warm when temperatures raise in the daytime and keeps me really warm in the colder temps. This jacket feels very luxurious to me.

I love this coat. It's a nice cheerful color (Sequoia Red). I love the way it compliment my Antlers Beanie and TKA 100 gloves that are the same color. I love that the coat provide warmth without being to bulky.

Great for NY winters

This coat is so great! I wore it during our first Nor'easter and it kept me so warm and dry. I love that it has a detachable hood. I didn't particularly like the fur on the hood and appreciated that that too is detachable. I was looking for a longer coat that had style and didn't make me look like the Michelin Man. I love my new coat.

I was looking for a new winter coat for our brutal Boston winters and came across the NF Parka. The coat has the perfect amount of coverage (hits a little above my knees), the lining is super warm, and I love the deep pockets! So glad I was able to get it at a discounted price

I bought this coat to get me through northern Wisconsin winters. So far, I've been very impressed with how warm the coat is! It doesn't let wind through and is also long enough that it keeps the tops of my legs warm. It's also fairly fitted so I don't feel like a blob when I'm wearing it.

Using it everyday even on warmer days (30 degrees). Use it for walks and going to work.

It is straight cut , like other northface coats So it restricts or gives you little tight fitting at mid point .
