This product was all that I had hoped it would be. Even though the sizing tool said I would be a medium, based on the clothes I wear I ordered a small and it's the perfect size and still with enough room to later. It's got such a nice look that I can wear it casually or for business while ensuring I stay warm.

I spent days and days searching for the perfect winter jacket within a somewhat reasonable price range. I needed something warm, windproof, waterproof, something that covered my butt but still had a woman's shape to it and of course it had to look pretty. It was between this jacket and something similar from Columbia, which was the brand of my previous winter jacket. Both were the same price but I really liked that North Face used goose down instead of duck, the fact that it has a windproof/waterproof fabric, the color/pattern (I chose the gray herringbone - LOVE IT) and I really liked the shape/style of the jacket as well. I'm so happy I decided to go with this one because I really love it. In comparison to my old Columbia jacket it feels much better quality like it will last way longer and overall style is much more pleasing to the eye. Also the "comfort cuffs" feel much thicker and warmer on the North Face and the hood seems to be better constructed as well. I love the cinched waste line too. The whole jacket is better constructed from start to finish, really. I literally cannot wait for the cold weather to hit Philly and I typically hate cold weather (hence the purchase of this jacket). I would definitely recommend using their size chart/questionnaire thingy because I almost ordered an XS but listened to the recommended size which was a Small and I'm glad I listened otherwise I'd have to be mailing it back for an exchange right now. All in all 5 stars. I would give more if I could. Thank you North Face!!

I've been wanting a dark green coat for the last few years and finally I have one. I have a straight build with wider shoulders than hips and this coat helps to give me more lower body curves. Although the main purpose of this coat is to keep me warm in cold NYC winters, I still want to look and feel feminine.

Just bought this jacket on Saturday, from the color to the fit, it is amazing!

Warm and lightweight. Great for outdoor soccer games.

I use it for day to day wear and for spartan competitions.

I'm originally from Texas and desperately wanted to stay warm during the brutal below zero Wisconsin winters. I've had North Face coats before but always had to layer underneath to stay warm. I finally had had enough of being cold despite layering and bought this down parka. BEST DECISION I'VE EVER MADE! This down parka is WARM! I wear a long sleeve shirt underneath and I stay toasty warm. The silhouette is flattering and coat is comfortable. I'm a short meatball (5'0" and 160lbs) so got a large because of my tummy. This fit like a dream with plenty of room for movement or layering I wanted it. If you're on the fence about this, buy it. You'll be so happy you did!

I'd planned on buying this coat closer to cold weather season but was gifted this by my husband on our anniversary. He picked the gorgeous gray color that goes with everything and has a slight herringbone pattern. For size reference, I'm 5'8" 127 pounds and he purchased the XS. It fits like a dream. I have fairly narrow shoulders and an athletic build. I wouldn't be able to fit a super chunky sweater under but probably a mid weight layer. The craftsmanship of this jacket is really lovely. I've only been able to wear it a few times as the weather is just starting to turn but I know I will get so much wear out of this coat in the years to come. It can easily be dressed up or look great with yoga pants on the weekend. 10/10 would have bought this jacket for myself!

As a school teacher with recess duty I'm always looking for coats to keep me warm. Northern Minnesota winters are brutal and so far this has kept me warm as our temps have dropped and we even got some snow! It's very windy as well and I don't feel cold with this coat. Would highly recommend, it's worth the cost.

I live in Michigan where the weather is pretty inconsistent. This jacket is perfect for wet and cold conditions. Fits a looks great!

I wear this coat on my early morning walks with my dog. The hood is comfortable and warm.

Love this coat! I moved to MN from the west coast and wanted something warm for the winter. This coat doesn't disappoint! I got a medium. I am 5'4 and 135 lbs with 36B. The large was more roomy but created for a draft for wind down below the hips which i didn't want. There is small room for a fleece layer under. I have yet to try it in the -10F weather but I have a feeling it won't disappoint.

You need this coat! I live on the Hudson River in New York, where we have bitter cold winters, high winds and plenty of snow. I walk my two dogs 5 - 7 times a day, every day and this is the only coat that keeps me from freezing! The length is perfect, your upper legs, waist, back and butt are nicely protected. The length of the arms is great, the collar zips right up to cover your neck. It is a little stiff (the collar) at first, but after a few wears, it softens up. The fit is flattering - you don't feel like the Michelan Man! I bought the XL (I normally wear L in coats, but the L was a little tight across the back/shoulders), 5'7", 38D, 165#. This is my second one, as I gave my first one to someone in need, but it still looked new after 3 years. Highly recommend!!

Love this coat! Super comfortable and looks nice. I live in MN with extremely cold weather and it great for staying warm and looking stylish. I am 5'8" with very long arms and it fits well in the arm length and still hits perfectly between my hips and knees.

I use it for weather in Boston. It's fantastic.

Bought this for myself, because I'm going on a few very cold trips. The sleeves are too long for me, but I have shorter arms and I think the longer sleeves will be warmed.

This north face winter jacket was the perfect gift for my wife. She was always cold and her first day she wear the jacket it was snowing. She told me she never had a warm jacket like this one before!

This is a great coat! I don't like cold weather but this coat protects me from the wind and the weather. It keeps me warm and dry. I like the longer length which keeps my backside warm even when I sit on the cold car seat.

Just moved from the west coast to the Midwest. I bought this because it checks all the boxes when it comes to what friends told me that I need in terms of winter coat.
