It's pretty warm. Protects a lot against the cold. I really like the way it looks.

I overlooked this coat in the store until a very helpful associate brought it to me. Once I put in on, it was exactly what I was looking for...lightweight yet warm without the bulk, windproof for walking the dogs, yet stylish for weekend wear. This coat keeps me warm enough to bear the New England wind chills. My new go to coat!

I have been looking for a warm practical and oretty coat for a while! This coat is perfect!! It's not heavy, it looks beautiful and stylish and is very warm! The sleeves are so great and the fit is just perfect! The website recommended size M for me, but having North Face size S already in another style I went with the same size! It's on the snug side and I love it! Just a great coat- very happy with this purchase!

I finally got to wear my coat. I bought it in preparation for the winter but I wore it last night during the coldest night since March with a loose fitting crop top sweat shirt underneath. While my fingers got cold at some point, my body did not. So glad I had this coat because I do not like to have to sacrifice style for warmth even though being warm will always come first. This allowed me to have both, inside and out.

I use this jacket to commute into work (in NYC) and it keeps me perfectly warm. I don't even need to wear a sweater or layers underneath. The length is ideal for protecting most of my body from the wind and cold, and it is extremely comfortable to move around in. The fabric within the sleeves (just at the wrists) is form-fitting to keep any wind from getting in. It was truly put to the test as I stood outside all day during the NYC marathon and I stayed toasty the entire day! Although NY hasn't seen its true winter temps yet, I'm very optimistic with wearing this jacket throughout the season.

I was a little worried about ordering online. I went to the store but they didn't have this jacket. I wanted red or light grey. It was exactly what I wanted. I ordered a size up for comfort or when I'm wearing a sweater or hoodie. Love it. Even ordered one for my mom as a gift.

This coat is SO CUTE! I ordered about 3 north face coats before deciding on this one. I love the style and it is a very fitted and flattering coat - I ordered my regular size and it is snug but that is fine with me because I don't wear sweaters or bulky clothes. If you want more room or wear heavy sweaters you may want to size up. I love the style and look of this coat.

I saw this coat on line and was hoping I would like it on! I wanted the white color which was not in the store. I took a chance and ordered it from the store. The staff at NorthFace were very helpful in terms of choosing a coat for my needs and assisting in the ordering! I needed to replace my 10 yo winter coat so I was really looking for a great upgrade and I found it in this coat. I took it on a trip to a cooler climate that Nov in Boston. I walked for hours in it and felt completely comfortable. Love this coat!

Very warm and comfy!

I live in the north with lots of wind and this coat has been perfect for staying warm as I walk to and from class. The best part about the coat is that it is wind proof in addition to being water proof. Definitely the best coat I've owned and I will be able to use it for a long time as it is made well.

Fits great - actually can see I have a waist line but still plenty of room for layers (probably don't need with how warm). Super warm and comfy - like being hugged in a blanket Questioned if I wanted to spend the money, but truly worth the investment

The reviews regarding the size being too small or too large had me anxious. I ordered an XL and it fits welL, I believe, because I TOOK MY MEASUREMENTS and compared them to the SIZE CHART. I'm 5'4, 160 lbs, and the sleeves are a *tad* long because I'm really a "Petite", however, not a problem for me. It would still fit well with a sweater underneath. I've never paid this much for a coat before, but it has EVERYTHING I need and want for a very warm, waterproof, and windproof coat. I'll make good use of the guarantee if need be. Glad that I can remove the fur from the hood, and/or remove the hood from the coat. The pockets are adequate. I didn't want to look like a big snowman, and the style of the coat is a bit slimming. I thought it would weigh more / feel heavy, but it's not, and it's not restrictive. I especially like the longer length and it has the double zipper, so if I need to loosen it from the hem, up to my hips, I can. ABSOLUTELY THRILLED WITH IT!

Bought it for my girlfriend who needed a new winter coat. She loves it! Finds it very warm and yet stylish. Might be tiny bit smug and have considered switch in to a M size instead of S. But overall. She loves it.

I live in Michigan and walk 1 - 2 miles a day, I enjoy being outdoors and needed a coat that will keep me warm. When I tried it on at the store I was amazed how comfortable the coat was and not restricting to sitting and moving around. Looking forward to wearing my new coat. BTW this is my 3rd Northface Coat
