I got this coat in new taupe, and as others have said, it's actually olive green, but it's a really nice color! I ordered both the small and extra small, and ended up going with the XS. I'm 5'7" and 125 lbs with a slender build and it fits me nicely. The small would have worked but I prefer a more snug fit. I haven't worn it too much yet, but it's really warm and the length is perfect (past my hips). I definitely recommend!

I looked this jacket up on website. Hold up to the great reviews. Impressed on the quality of the jacket. Should last my daughter in several years to come. Perfect gift for Chicago winters.

I got this coat as a gift. I must say it is definitely something I would've purchased on my own. I love olive green!! I love the length of this coat it's nice and long and I'm 5'9! Definitely would purchase again!

I tried this coat on in a store before I ordered it online, which is always great to ensure a good fit. It is WARM and I love how it's more sleek than your traditional puffy down coat. This allows me to dress it up or down. I live in the midwest where there are many subfreezing, windy days and the length is perfect to keep your whole body warm. For concerns here about size, if it helps I am 5'4", 130lbs. I ordered a small. I don't have a curvy body type, which is why I think a small worked for me.

This is the best jacket i have ever owned!

This is the length I was looking for. My earlier one was too long and bulky. This is lightweight and very very comfortable. Very stylish too.

This coat is very warm and great for cold days. You can dress it up or down. I've been wearing it to the gym on cold mornings.

The jacket has a great fit. I was worried about it being too long since I'm 5' 2, but the sleeves are just right and it falls just above the knees. This is the warmest jacket I have ever owned. It does a great job protecting against the wind and always stays dry. I usually don't even need any other layer underneath the jacket to keep me warm.

Living in Chicago you need a jacket that is wind proof and this Arctic jacket is the perfect fit! It fits really well, keeps you warm, and the arctic white color is so versatile!

My wife will use it as her go-to coat whenever the wind and snow season begins and for us it's here.

I've had it for about 2 weeks and so far it has been warm, windproof, waterproof and very comfortable. I'm 5'3, 146lbs and ordered both an M and a L. I thought the M was too snug at first, but it ended up fitting better and I can wear 2-3 light layers under it, so that's what I ended up going with. I thought there was too much space in the arms/underarms with the L, but maybe someone looking to wear a very heavy sweater or fleece under this coat might like that.

Great coat! I wasn't sure about the size so I went up and it was roomy. I used it in Sweden and Norway late November and it was comfortable and warm. It also kept me dry during an all day snow drizzle.

Everyday winter coat!

The Arctic Parka is a stylish and warm coat. It is stream-line and simple with an added flair with the fur trimmed hood. The pockets are conveniently placed and have ample room. I wore it today in the blustery wind and was kept warm. For sizing: I am just about 5'11" and 145 lbs. (size 8) I am lean but carry some l.b.s more so in my hips and tush... the Medium fits me really well. I tried the Large on and it was too big. The length is perfect and hits a little below the mid thigh. I am so happy own a jacket that goes as long as this one does being so tall. Overall, a win!

Since I discovered how warm and wonderful North Face down is I haven't bought another brand. My last North Face women's parka lasted me forever and with their warranty to stand behind their products, and another winter on the east cost ahead, there was no doubt that my next winter coat would be another North Face Parka. Well, let me say they've only gotten better. Beautiful sleek design with more slim look, a darker elastic under sleeve at wrists and a little extra length in the back to cover your bottom when you sit... absolute winter coat perfection. And did I mention it looks fantastic on?! Way to go North Face! You've put done yourselves yet again!!

I live In Chicago, where the winters are Harsh. This coat is perfect for what I needed.

Bought this coat to keep me warm on my way to/from classes at university. I live in Michigan where the weather can get super cold and windy and so far this coat has kept me warm through all of our crazy weather.

Absolutely beautiful coat-a lovely cream color, feels lightweight but incredibly warm. I have an older version from almost 10 years ago in black which is still going strong as well.

I wear Gap xs , this fits small. I recommend half or one size up . I love it.

This coat is so warm, comfortable and stylish. Perfect for cold and/or windy weather. I plan on using it mostly for wear around the city and attending outdoor sporting events.
