I love this parka. I have been an avid outdoorsman my entire life. I am an active 68 yr old, 5'7", 132 lbs. Wear a 6 or small in clothing. I purchased this parka in a size medium. It fits perfectly over sweaters/flannel. One thing I like is the Velcro closure. If I'm just walking to the mail box, instead of using the zipper, I use the Velcro. I've read that some are disappointed because they replaced the snaps with Velcro. But the Velcro is so much easier. Have not had any problems with sweaters getting caught in it. One important feature is the fabric. When walking through the woods, branches just slide over fabric. No snagging.

This coat is amazing. I love the fit & look! It has a toasty parker feel, but doesn't have the typical "boxy" appearance most parkers do. While I was initially disappointed to find there were no drawstrings, the gather accent in the back gives it a tailored finish & a feminine silhouette. Bravo!

Really cute parka! nice fit for an apple shape. I was looking for a nice warm parka due to the frigid temperatures of Chicago and this fit the bill.

This coat is beautiful and so warm! I have actually found myself disappointed in the unusually warm winter we are having in North Dakota because I don't need to wear it as much as I'd like to. It feels like wrapping yourself in a warm blanket. The only downside is how warm it is (don't plan on keeping it on while grocery shopping). If you can afford it, you will not regret this purchase.

Love it quilted down made me feel huge !love that quilt is inside !! Does just fit in medium ! Usually get large ! Large way too big ! Hesitated because so pricey and no discount ! Do love it !Wish you had a Covid discount for nurses ! Carhart gives 25%to nurses on everything !!

I have wanted a new parka with the fur trimmed hood for awhile and have tried on many other brands-as soon as I tried this one on I knew that this was the one for me. Stylish, comfortable and warmlove it!!

I bought this jacket as I was moving to Chicago and knew I needed something to keep me warm. This jacket does not disappoint! It kept me warm and did not allow the wind to penetrate!

Got this in the mail today and love it! The red is super pretty and the fit is great. Will definitely keep me warm and I'm so happy I bought this for the Boston winter!

Love this jacket so much that I wanted to get it in second color but found out the healthcare discount no long works for this. It's a huge bummer.

At first, I was hesitant to order this coat because it was a little out of my budget. Now that I have it, I am SO glad that I made this purchase. It keeps me extremely warm during the cold winters and I love that it covers my legs. The fur part of the hood is detachable. The sleeves have a fitted cloth at the wrists that block out wind from traveling up the coat and overall keeps you warm. If you are on the fence about buying this coat, PLEASE buy it!

I love this jacket, it is so warm, good quality, nice and thick. perfect for those northern winters. The size is just the right fit - big enough to wear layers and be comfortable. I would 100% recommend this jacket!

OMG... l was on the fence about purchasing this jacket, because l really didn't want to pay that much after reading about feathers but , l am and l mean , l am very pleased. The color l choose was the Khaki Hawthorne, it's so pretty and looks classy. The hood makes the coat look more expensive. I actually ordered the black also, so l know if l like the way this one fits and look on , l know l will like the black as well. I also have the matching hat and gloves to go with both jackets. Northface you came through for me. Keep doing great things l have ordered 5 coats and love them ALL !!!

I'm a plus size women and I usually have issues with coats fitting my upper arms. But this coat is everything I need it to be.

I really love this one in comparison to the Gotham Parka (great parka, but I like this one better). The sleeves on this parka are longer than the Gotham and it give you more chest space. I wear a Small in the Gotham bc the XS is too restrictive arm and chest wise. For this one I wear an XS and it has PLENTY of additional space. Size down on this one for sure based on what you might be in a Gotham or Metropolis Parka.

This jacket is not only long and warm; it's sleek and cute as well! I love the zipper as well as the Velcro in the front which allows for easy closure. The hood is super cute and WARM. This jacket will keep your whole body warm without bulk (read: nice figure, no weird snowman jacket here) in the snow and the freezing cold. I love this beautiful jacket. Sizing seems true to size.

Very nice coat! It fit perfectly in the arm and chest area, but was a little small in the leg area. If you are curvy in the bottom half, I'd size up.

This jacket keeps me warm like no jacket I've ever worn before.

I will advise to order a size down.

GREAT coat! I wanted a fully waterproof winter coat for traveling (and the two cold months in the Southeast) and this one is great! Not a coat for running/exercise, obviously, but great for dog walks/hiking. True to size -- I'm 5'7" and 147lbs and got a medium. It hits about 2-3" above my kneecap and I fully sit on it when seated. Needless to say, quality is great; the fluffy parka is detachable and is SUPER fluffy and soft (unlike other brands where it looks great in photos but arrives deflated/clumpy). The lining is amazing, though not detachable, as in other TNF jackets. It also has the wrist "cuffs" that prevent cold wind from getting in. It's stylish and surprisingly looks well tailored --unlike other down jackets or parkas that look like a soft mattress wrapped around you. Highly recommend it! Shipping was impressive--even for pre-covid times! Arrived in 5ish days!!

I was surprised by the flattering fit. You don't expect a parka to be attractive, but it is! Bullet proof when it comes to cold temps and wind. I recommend this coat highly!

I've had problems finding jackets that are warm and comfortable to wear, but this one was perfect! I'm on the short side (5'3-5'4), so this went right to my knees, which is the perfect length for me. Based on the reviews, I sized up and am thankful I did because it leaves room for my chunky sweaters and sweatshirts. Love the quality and am excited to wear this during the long winter!

I wear this on the coldest, wet, windy days living on the high plains in southeast Colorado while walking up to three hours daily. Through it all, it's comfy.

I'm 5'5 and curvy (mostly in the hips): bust 35''- waist 27'' - hips 39'' I tried on both small and medium. The small had a nice slim fit and was quite flattering AND I could fit a bulky sweater under :) The medium fit too, but was a bit boxy on me so I preferred the small.
