I'm a very active person, I need something warm but comfortable to move in. I live in upstate NY and it gets cold. I keeps you warm but as you walk into a store you don't feel like you have to get undressed. You also don't need to layer up!

I use it everyday. Have had multiple complements on it.

I visit Canada in the winter and wanted another down coat that came in Red (similar to a very pricey brand CG) This coat is a bit long on me so I had it shorted a few inches without disturbing the two way zipper. Love a two way zipper for getting in and out of the car etc. My daughter got the same coat in Navy and loves it. She's 5'9". I think TNF has great products. This is my second down jacket from them:)

I love the north face parkas. This is my second one. They've made some changes in the last few years since my first purchase. My first coat was a little tight (xs). I sized up this time to ensure greater comfort and the ability to layer up underneath. This one's actually a little too roomy and before the sleeves were the perfect length but now the sleeves are so long I have to cuff slightly. Kind of a bummer since I only went up one size (small) and still weigh 100 pounds at 4'10. The material they use for the exterior shell of the coats is different too now... slightly more casual in it's appearance and feel. Still very warm and I still get compliments on it pretty often.

Best coat I have ever had.

I live in Chicago & the weather is all over the place. This jacket is lightweight but packs a punch! I love the shape it gives, the color is gorgeous, & the hood is heavy enough not to be blown away when the wind blows. I also love that it's not a puffer-like jacket in its design. The design is so sleek & slimming. I do wish there were more pockets on the inside but the one over the left chest is deep. I already have 2 friends who are planning on buying this jacket! A beautiful, adventure ready piece by TNF!

I use my coat casually or dressy. It looks good, it's comfortable and it's warm. This is my 3rd arctic parka and will probably buy more. I've received many compliments and had friends and family purchase the coat also. Too bad they sell out so fast during the 40% off sale.

This is literally the best winter coat I've EVER owned. I've never paid more than $100 for a winter coat, but this was beyond worth it. It keeps me SO warm and it's waterproof which is a huge huge plus during the winter months when its sleeting or gross out. As a commuter in the city, I am super appreciative of this quality! The small fit perfectly and I'm glad I tried it on in the store because I'm usually a Medium so I would recommend trying it in person. HIGHLY recommend overall!!!!

Heats up very well

Great Jacket. Vandis grey color is exactly as pictured. Fits pretty true to size but maybe on sliiightly larger end.

I seriously can't say enough good things about how warm and dry this coats keeps you in a Kansas City winter!

This is my first North Face winter down coat and I have zero regrets about my purchase. It's super warm, super comfy and I got a Small instead of XS so that I'd have room to layer underneath. It's waterproof and easy to spot clean (I have the ivory one and accidentally got it dirty by leaning against a car when trying to clean off the roof but used snow to wipe off the dirt and it came right off!). Hood is also super cozy and warm and thick!

I got the gray color...just to be different because I own so much black and everyone has black. Love it!! Wears with everything from jeans to slacks to dress and boots. Great length.

Needed a winter coat that would be able to handle negative 30 windchill weather and this jacket did the job! Super warm and stylish too. Love the added Velcro to secure the zipper and the length goes right at my knees. I'm 5'2 for reference.

I moved from Texas to New York last year and was unprepared for the very cold temperatures and winds. A business trip is taking me to North Dakota, so I decided to splurge on this beautiful red coat (the same color as my car!) I couldn't be happier! It's fully 'broken in' now, and when I leave this week for Bismarck, I'll be prepared for the 18 degree evenings! Thanks, North Face!
