I am a first grade teacher in the Pacific Northwest and we stand outside during recess and during after school pickup time. The school is at the top of a hill and the cold winter wind goes right through you if you are not dressed warmly. That is why I like this coat - it stops the wind. The hood is cute and has faux fur that encircles your face. The hood hugs your head so it feels warm and when it is not being worn, the way it sits looks elegant. I like the stand up collar also. It has a slight elastic gather at the waist in the back which provides some shape to the coat. I could have easily worn size medium, but I stayed with the large because I like to wear sweaters and sport jackets under the coat for work.

Absolutely obsessed with this coat. Worth every penny I paid for it. It is so extremely warm and that I can get through the coldest days. The lowest temp I wore it in so far was 5 degrees F and I was genuinely comfortable while wearing this coat. Fully waterproof and wind proof. You can't go wrong. 10/10 recommend for sure.

Warm and comfortable!

This parka is so warm! I am so impressed. Great for dog walks in our SK winters. I replaced my Canada Goose parka with this one. The length is perfect and the grey colour is just beautiful. I am 5'1 and 125lbs. and the extra small fits great. My only regret is not sizing up so I could fit some of my big, thick sweaters underneath!

This coat is literally the warmest one I've ever worn! I am from Los Angeles, so I rarely need such a warm coat. I bought it on a whim because I am planning on doing some winter travel to colder places. It is beautifully crafted and high quality. It is very thick so does not make it as easy to move with it on, but that's to expect from such a thick jacket. I was recently in an area where the weather was 32 degrees F (that is extremely cold for an LA native) and I felt no chill, cold, or wind. It was worth every penny! For reference, I'm 5'7, 165 lbs. I purchased a M and it fit well and left some room for layering.

I have a severe intolerance to cold + I finally found a jacket that keeps me SO warm. The next best thing is if it came down to my ankles!! Lol

This is really warm and I love that the length keeps my legs warm. It doesn't feel bulky, heavy, or uncomfortable at all given that it is such a thick, warm coat so that is nice. The 100% wind resistance is probably the best part, and I feel that it is very easy to spot clean (I purchased white) which I assume is due in part to its waterproof feature. There inner chest pocket is very convenient and the handpockets are deep so I have no worries about small items falling out when reaching for thick gloves. The only thing I was confused about is the feature of "Removable, fully adjustable hood with removable faux-fur ruff." The hood itself is not removable in any way, which is what I was expecting based off the description of that feature. I don't think I'd personally ever have a reason to remove the hood, but it was misleading. The faux-fur is indeed removable though, so that is nice to have that freedom.

First winter buy and it was worth it. Keeps you warm and fits well without making you look too bulky. Based on personal experience I would recommend this coat to anyone experiencing their first snow.winter. I am 5'1" and this coat is still a great fit.

This jacket is for extreme cold. Five stars!

I sized up and I loooove it! I have always bought fashion winter jackets and this year I really wanted something to REALLY withstand a real winter. This coat is awesome!! The only complaint is that it attracts pet hair and fuzz, but a quick lint roll is easy enough.

I live in Buffalo, NY and wear this parka regularly in the winter months! Protect from wet snow and wind perfect for walking the dog in the winter climate and keeps you warm and dry while still looking relatively stylish.

Purchased the Women's Artic Parka for my daughter-in-law after she had seen the men's McMurdo Parka, that I had purchase for my son for Christmas. They are taking a trip to Minnesota in February to go ice fishing. We live in the Kansas City area where the weather recently was very cold and snowy. I spoke with her last week, and she loves the parka, how it looks and said that it was very warm while they were outside in the weather. She is looking forward to wearing the parka on their upcoming trip to the North. In addition to the warmth in cold weather. She likes the look of the coat and the fit and how it looks on her. The ordering system on-line was very easy and customer friendly. The delivery was very quick, and the parka arrived in good condition. Have been a Nor Face customer for years and will continue to be. The products are great.

Perfect coat. I only wish it had inside pockets but good otherwise. Very warm, and dry.
