Runs so small!! I'm 5'4" 145 and ordered a small. Was way to small. Returned and ordered a medium. It was still quite snug especially around the hips. Returning this one too. To bad as it is really cute jacket.

I ordered this in a large because reviewers were saying it runs small. I was looking for a warm jacket that was dressier than a dog-walking jacket and more casual than a peacoat. I was looking for something that would keep me warm in the 40's-50's without layers and in the 20-'s-30's with layers. this definitely would have done that and probably actually was warmer than my goal. And, since I tend to run cold, I would say that the average person would be able to be out in much colder temps than would be comfortable for me. So, the jacket: the sleeves on this size large were so tight that I could not have worn a fleece or thick sweater under. A long sleeved shirt would have been fine. The body of the jacket was huge on me. It also was A-line so that the shoulders were much narrower than the hips/waist. On me this made me look like a tent. No indentation at the waist. also, it was much more casual than it looked online so it defeated the style purpose of the jacket. So I am sending this back,and not ordering a smaller size. For reference, most of my tailored jackets are a small, my favorite LLBean dog-walk-play-at-beach winter jacket is a small and I can fit a fleece under it. My peacoats, which I wear over a suit jacket, are mediums.

Got this for my college student for zero degree weather, wind, and snow this winter. She is thrilled, beautiful coat keeping her plenty warm, which is great is cold wind.

I love this jacket! I was looking for a warm winter jacket that would get me through New England winters and I think this is the perfect one! The green is a little brighter than the picture, it's really nice. The jacket is definitely warm and the chord inside makes it so the jacket has a cinched waist, so it's not too bulky looking. I'm 5'2" and my bust is about 40", I ordered a medium, and it zipped up, with a little room. The only bad thing I would say about this jacket is that the zipper doesn't always cooperate, so it takes a few trys to zip up at times. Overall I like this jacket a lot and would definitely recommend it.

This is a great coat for walking around campus on cold or snowy days. I love the style, waterproof design and warmth! It is perfect for cold Kansas days! I rarely write reviews but this coat is so great it needs one!

I chose this jacket because I'm not a big fan of the puffer look and it did not disappoint! The warmth is in the down fill on the inside and the outside is waterproof. The waist is adjustable to give my body a flattering look! Everything I need in a jacket.

I was looking to add a new coat to my north face collection because I love n trust because 3 years back on February 24th all transportation were shot down by New Jersey n New York, so in that stormy day I walked 31/2 hours from Hoboken to union city, I was dry,warm and in perfect condition

I'm a petite build, 5'1" and 110lbs, normally wear XS/S but I got a medium to layer underneath and glad I did so! Even if I'm just wearing one hoodie underneath, it's spacious but not so much that it's falling off my body. I've lived all my life in Southern California and moved to the Pacific Northwest where it snows and the temperatures are much lower than I'm used to, and this jacket has saved me from freezing.

As someone who rarely writes a review but I love this jacket so much I thought I would. I absolutely love this jacket! I currently have 2 of them black & green. The green one I have had for almost 4 years and I still love it! If you are someone like myself who feels cold most of the time this jacket is for you! It's stylish enough for running errands and warm enough to play outside with the kids. It's a great quality I've never had an issue with any of the zippers or buttons. It literally still looks like the day I bought it. I am 5'0 and this jacket was the perfect length unlike most parka style jackets that always were way too long for me.

Definitely runs small. I bought a large and it fits like a medium. Perfect fit for me. I had a favorite navy coat that was stolen a few years ago and I haven’t been able to find a replacement. This may be my new favorite! Really looking forward to wearing it this winter.

I LOVE this JACKET! It is perfect. I was waffling between getting a SM or MD, and after reading reviews on TNF jackets and people's sizes/measurements, I decided on a SMALL, and it fits perfectly!! I got a SMALL-Here are my specs: 5'5" 125# 34B

Great in the snow and rain.

This jacket excedded expectations. I had read great reviews on it so ordered it online and it did not dissapoint. It is stylish, versitle and comfy. I am an avid North Face fan and this jacket is hand-down my favorite.

We love this true red parka, classy look with the buttons, not too bulky/puffy and stays warm. we wish TNF would make more reds instead of the maroon/cardinal reds that have been out the past few years

Works well in below zero weather.

My son bought this jacket as a gift for me over the holidays and I cannot stop raving about this jacket to my friends (and practically everyone I know)! Prior to this jacket, I did not have a suitable jacket for the harsh winter conditions I experience in where I live. Dealing with the winter cold without a proper jacket has been brutal. However, now owning this particular jacket - the weather does not stop me from going outside anymore. Anything that warrants me to brave the winter winds, low temperatures and snow outside - I feel better suited/prepared for any winter climate. The jacket is warm, water and wind proof, and to top it - I feel very stylish wearing it. Its hard to believe how I even survived previous winters with out this coat. I would say for people who live in areas where winters tend to be unbearable - this is DEFINITELY a winter essential!

It recently dropped into the negative temps in CT and this jacket made me feel like I was wrapped in a furnace! I cannot recommend this coat highly enough. I am typically a Small in North Face gear and had to size up to comfortably move and wear bulky hoodies underneath. Additionally, for how expensive the jacket is, you would think the zipper would budge with less effort, but as far as staying cozy, warm, dry and keeping the wind from giving you a chill - this jacket is a dream!

Yea I use this coat now for this cold as weather ! It's covers me up so perfect ! I don't get cold like I use to be before with other coats ! I love it
