Not a fan of the material. Reminded me of material on shell of a back pack or something. Just wasn't comfortable to wear.

Good look, but too stiff. Returned.

I am 4'10" 103lbs / Based on comments of tight sleeves, I decided to buy a small. Small was way too big and tight in the sleeves. I then ordered an XS, it was was a tight fit and the sleeves were very tight. I eneded up returning both. The material is very stiff. This was to replace the Windwall fleece coat I had for many, many years that I had lost. Disappointed they stop making it.

This is the second Apex Bionic jacket I've purchased. I'm not sure what happened but the quality has gone downhill. They've replaced the embroidered stitches that says The North Face with some sort of iron-on patch. Cheep looking! Also the inner cuff that that kept the wind ( or snow) from going up my arm is gone. Lastly, the inner pockets arm gone! Do better instead of looking for trying to cut corners. It's not a good look for a company.

I had the "same" jacket for the last 10 years or so. This is a replacement for me. The fit is not the same, shorter and a bit boxy. On the upside, the waterproof is wonderful, probably a step up from my previous jacket.

I have the same version of this jacket from some years back . Absolutely loved it ! The new version is very boxy. No princess seaming down the front or back anymore. The North Face logo isn't embroidered anymore . I was disappointed when I received the jacket but am keeping it because I was desperately needing a jacket .

This jacket is great for spring and fall. I ordered a size medium because I thought the sleeves might be long enough this way, but they weren't. The medium was a bit too big all over, but the sleeves were still not long enough.

Bought a size bigger (3L) than the last TNF jacket I bought for myself (2XL) and couldn't get the zipper to meet around me. I wish the jackets were size consistent. I had to send it back.

Can't wear it because it is too small around the hips and middle. I ordered a 2x because that is usually big on me but this is about 2 inches from meeting in the middle section.

I bought this after getting my husband the men's Apex bionic jacket last year. I love the old material... These new stuff isn't as smooth, it's move of a rough canvas feel. The older material seems stretchier/more agile for sports and movement than this new material does.
It fits well, I definitely sized up though so I could layer under, I normally wear a medium in most jackets with hoodies or long sleeves, but with a tee-shirt this was tight so I went with large and now I'm completely comfortable.
It's also more ivory than white, especially against snow. I don't mind either way but the color should be named better or represented better in photos.
Lastly I'm already having trouble with the zipper after having it 2 weeks. My husbands jacket has a similar issue as well with the zipper.
I also wish it ther was an inside pocket for my wallet, but that's just personal preference.

It's a good quality jacket but it runs too large.

Nice looking jacket but it fits strange. The arms are very long and the fabric is stiff. Does not run true to size. I would not recommend it.

Jacket fit my girlfriend daughter a little small so we went to Northface store in Dallas to exchange and there were none in the store. Manager went to order online and showed available then was not available so I got money back and bought her a men's jacket at another store and she loves it.

Great quality as far as how its put together, but
I am very petite- 5ft 120 lbs, so according to the size guide I should take a small. Its too tight through the shoulders, and its nowhere near as warm as I thought it would be.
I still love it, and wear it almost every day though

The sleeves were too long and I would have preferred inner cuffs to hold the sleeves in place.

I returned this jacket - after receiving the jacket and trying it on, I did not like the fit. Otherwise a nice jacket.

Great looking with what seems to be good functionality. Unfortunately runs small. All my jackets are size L but this jacket runs so small that I can barely zip it over a t-shirt.

Cons: feels stiff, sleeves are too long. Pro: pockets are deep, keeps you warm

I love how warm and soft it is. I only wear it around the house when it's cold here in Santa Barbara because the sleeves are so much too long. I got the large size to accommodate my breasts but I didn't expect knuckle-warming sleeves! Although I love to work out, I'm not the kind of athlete with a svelte figure so I'll need to figure out your sizes in the futre.

Unfortunately larger size means much longer sleeves ..so strange. I love this jacket and hate having to return it.

Very disappointed. Not as good as the previous version. Instead of the embroidered logos, there is cheap iron-on in their place. The inside cuffs that help block wing are no longer there. If it cost less, I may not mind as much, but it's the same price for less quality. Not pleased.

I have this jacket from almost 15 yrs ago and I cannot part with it. So many friends and family always wanted one too. Great quality, soft outer shell and inner lining, allow ease of movement for working outside or running errands. Sadly, this new version is disappointing in the cut and materials. I'm returning it. Please North Face, bring back the previous version.

I will sadly be returning this. I don't like the way it fits at all, way too narrow in some spots and bulky in others. Not flattering if you have any type of curves. I wanted to love it, it's a great color and material.

Flag blue was beautiful. I wish the cut worked for my body type. New fitted cut works in theory for a more flattering fit in the torso, however you would need to size up. I'm usually a Small but the Medium fit me better. The sleeves were ultra long on me for the Small and Medium. The product just looked ackward for my petite frame with the curves in my hip area. Unfortunately I had to return. Otherwise, I would have loved to have this jacket protect me from the elements.
