It fits perfect and the color is beautiful! It's the most comfortable jacket I have ever owned!

It's flattering, as the jacket is long and slim rather than being short and wide styled like a lot of other jacket/sweater brands. Friends and coworkers make fun of how I have "too many North Face clothes" but that is due to how it fits, how long their product lasts and the timeless styles. Service is always flawless.

I bought this for my sister for her birthday and she absolutely lover it!

I recently purchased my 2nd jacket as a pre-winter season coat. It works great for that purpose, I have even worn it in the extreme with a hoodie and it keeps me very warm. It's not super heavy duty, but it definitely keeps me warm and elements out. On a few windy, cooler days we have had in New England this jacket has been super warm and cozy. I get a lot of compliments on the jacket. I love how it has a feminine shape. It fits snugly and will over time loosen a bit, to fit more relaxed. So, I do recommend going with your size even if it is snug. Some people will say it is tight and snug and go up a size, but once you stretch it out it will loosen. The quality of the jacket you can't beat, hands down. North Face makes great products and their customer service is awesome.

Beautiful color and very warm yet lightweight

This jacket is so multi-functional and light weight. I love the soft shell jacket and I love the solid black as I can up the ante of the casualness with a Burberry scarf, etc. for everyday use. Love that it is windproof AND water-repellent when needed.

The sleeves could be a little longer, but it's a great jackets that I'll wear for years!! Tall sizes would be fantastic, like Large Tall or XL Tall.

I love this jacket.

I've been struggling over the years to find a coat both warm enough to keep my thin-skinned self comfortable during the winter months and slim enough I don't feel like a puff ball, or struggle to buckle my seat belt while driving. Previously I'd worn a dull mauve carhart, bulky and cumbersome when driving my red Corolla, or lugging my groceries from the market and up the two stories to my apartment with it's narrow foyer. I have plenty of inner and outer pockets. It's long enough that when I raise my arms to lift my daughter's car seat in her car there is no exposed line of skin left to be licked by the South Dakota gales. I haven't shut myself in the car door and I have no difficulties securing myself in my car. The black does not easily bear the sign of dirt and grime and the green accents brighten up any overcast day. The fit is perfect. I wound up buying a size up because the color I desire was out of stock in my size. Truthfully it's a better fit, it leaves enough room to breathe and slip a hooded sweater beneath it. To put it simply, I will never buy another brand of winter gear.

My husband bought me this jacket for Christmas, after trying a few that didn't work out for me. I love that this jacket is windproof and waterpoof, as it was the perfect go-to jacket for me while I spent a week in New York City. It provided me with better warmth and wind resistance than the other jackets (pea coats) I brought, so I wore it most of the trip. My ONLY complaint is that the jacket does not breathe much, so after walking around a lot, I would start to feel a little clammy/sweaty. Even with that being said, I would still highly recommend this jacket.

My wife lost an Apex Bionic and absolutely had to have a replacement. No other jacket or brand would be considered.
