I liked this jacket best but patagonia's color selection until I found the midgrey which is only available on tnf website--love the flattering lines and cut, just right, worth the indulgent price-

Wear to school and school events mostly

I horseback ride competitively throughout the year. During the winter, I ride inside of an indoor arena. It's hard to wear multiple layers because it restricts movement. This jacket is absolutely perfect for those working out in the cold. I simply layer a thermal and/or a flannel underneath this jacket and that is all I need in the 20 degree winter in New England. It definitely traps body heat and keeps me warm. I find that I even sweat when working out in this jacket. Another plus is that this jacket doesn't stain! I can easily wipe off dirt or horse slobber and it doesn't leave a mark. I loved it so much I bought a second one only after a few wears. For me, the hood was unnecessary so I returned it and bought the full zip instead. I own the metallic silver and the garnet purple. Beautiful colors and DEFINITELY recommend.

I bought the KOKOMO GREEN color hoodie - its a nice jade color. Beautiful !!! I got the matching hat too. Tribe and true beanie (grey and KOKOMO GREEN). Very comfortable too - not so tight on the head. I've been in pouring rain in it and was was totally dry when I took off the jacket, the water just rolls off it. I do use the hoodie a lot and it also covers the neck area too. And it's warm - I'm surprised living in Michigan I can wear this in January - but I can. But I still have down for blizzards. Worth the money and get one with a hood to keep your hair dry. I just ordered the COOL BLUE HOODIE too.

I love my new jacket!

bought this as a gift for my daughter and she loves it, bought one a year ago for my granddaughter and her mother would always want to borrow so go her on too.

I'm outside a lot with my daughter due to sports...keeps me very warm

I have 2 themoball jackets and bought one for all my family (my husband my 2 kids) and they just love them. All my future jackets will be thermoball ones!!!

This jacket was a little larger than the other North Face Items I had in the same size. It is very warm and windproof. I love the hood to protect me from the cold winds and I bought a matching beanie hat to go with it.

This jacket is so soft and lightweight, it feels like you're not wearing one! I love the Patriot Blue color!

My daughter wears this jacket everyday, she loves it. It is lightweight and very attractive. Great colors too!

I was getting tired of being crazy hot in my winter parka when I went hiking, snowshoeing & XC skiing when it wasn't totally freezing out. I just got this and took it out for a long walk in -3C windy weather & it's fantastic. Very lightweight, very comfortable, a nice length, blocks wind, warm, but didn't it make me super hot. I think I'll get a lot of wear out of this.

It's not bulky - easy to throw on and know I'll be totally warm and cozy. Super cute color combination too.

I wanted something warm but not bulky. And roomy enough to wear a bulky sweater under jacket and not feel right around chest or in sleeves. The Large was the right choice for me with those expectations. I am 5'5" and about 135 pounds. Again, I was looking for something roomy not fitted.

This the jacket I'll use everyday. It is easy to move around in; comfortable in the car or walking around. Being short waisted, I struggled to find a good fit, but this is it. It's roomy enough to easily fit a sweater underneath and still gives a flattering silouette. I've received many compliments and I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I needed a warm jacket and saw this on Northface and ordered. It was a bit lighter than I wanted so I returned it and ordered a different style.That being said...if I didn't already have a similar type jacket I would have kept it. It fit well,was nice and light but warm enough for the low 30s. It looked great. Looking forward to the new style I ordered.

I love how diverse this coat is. I can wear casual around town or put it with a base layer & be comfortable in cold winter activities.

I love this Jacket. It is great for the fall over a sweat shirt and under a heavy jacket in the winter.

I have owned this jacket for several weeks and LOVE it! It fits well and has a feminine look. I bought it in a bright and fun color. I enjoy this jacket so much I just ordered another one in Artic Gray and donated several other jackets and parkas to help others. It is so lightweight and comfortable. Don't hesitate and buy one.

What a great jacket! I wore it in Seattle and it's perfect for the climate. It weighs nothing and is so comfortable. This will be my go0to jacket for travel. It has a pocket that you can stuff the rest of the jacket into and it's uber compact and lightweight.
