Saucony does not disappoint. I have worn them for over 10 years. They are the only shoe that is comfortable as soon as I put them on and they remain so throughout the day. I have a size 8 foot but wear an 8 1/2 in most sneakers. I used to be a B width but I am now a wide width C or D. I have always had problems with my feet but never like this. I was diagnosed with sacroiliitis (an inflammatory type of arthritis) in 2013 along with disc degeneration and a herniated disc which pinched a nerve in my low back. The sacroiliitis affects my ability to walk, stand for very long as well as sit in anything other than a recliner or ergonomic chair more so in the winter months or if the pain clinic screws up the schedule for injections. Proper footwear is a necessity otherwise the spasms in my back don't go away. The two pair of Saucony shoes that I had finally broke down and it took me over a year to find the right shoe. I went to various running stores and tried on over 10 pairs that I bought and returned online. I even went to Saucony's web site but didn't see anything that would work. I think they did not have wides. I have neuropathy in my feet along with plantar fasciitis, ingrown toe nails, and who knows what else. I know that I can no longer wear anything but tennis shoes as it feels like I'm walking on rocks. I can wear Ugg coquettes and the sheepskin boots but not for very long. These shoes are heaven. The cushioning is superior and I no longer have pain in the top.and bottom of my feet. The tops of my feet are so sensitive and without adequate cushioning they hurt. The bottom of my right foot burns when walking unless properly supportive and padded well. My feet hurt in most shoes. The only socks I wear are heat holders (a thick and very warm sock). (I have a wedding to attend in June and I'm trying to figure out what to wear and what to put on my feet! The bottom line - if you have problems finding a shoe with a wide enough toe box and padded throughout this is the pair I suggest. I can wear these without orthotics though I don't and the stability of the shoe keeps my body in good alignment.

Great comfortable shoe for the wider foot. It's the only pair I have found so far that my orthotics for my plantar facilities fit into. There is a nice wide toe box, and wide heel, however I find the trick where you make a loop with the laces using that top hole you never use, tightens up the heels very nicely. Just wish it came in more colors in Wide. Oh, I got the 7 1/2 which is 1/2 size bigger than my normal size with other shoes, but usual for my athletic shoes.

I had pretty serious foot surgery 3 months ago with a fusion of the mtp joint and lots of hardware placed. I was looking for a shoe that would work as I returned to my hospital job, and was wide in the front and accomodating for my new orthotics. These were awesome! I am ordering another pair.

this is my second pair of Saucony cross training shoes and I am just as pleased with it. I needed an all purpose tennisshoe that could be used on different surfaces so needed something with a little tread. I ordered the 6.5 wide so I could have room for a full length orthotic and have room to wear any thickness sock (usually wear a 6W) The orginal insole is adequate for anyone who has a normal arch. Although the pronation is supposed to be neutral, I felt the lateral sides had more support than the instep. I wanted a woman shoes and I tried on 10 other pairs of shoes before this one. I would have appreciated it more if this shoe came in black as it would be more versatile for refereeing.

I love these shoes! They are wide enough in the toe box that my toes are not squished together; however, I normally wear a 6.5 and feel I could have worn a 6 in these. I have had 3 foot surgeries and have a hard time finding a shoe to fit my swollen foot. These are perfect.

I have an extremely high arch - one of the highest my podiatrist has seen. These shoes fit my feet and are unbelievably comfortable. I use an orthotic and even with that in, the sides of the shoe are high enough so that it hugs my foot without rubbing on my heel. One thing that I did not notice in the picture was that there are two different colors of pink on the shoe. It is not the most attractive but the comfort makes up for it. Even though I broke them in by first walking a mile, then three, then five, it probably was not necessary. It should be noted I am a walker, not a runner. I usually wear a 7½ or 8M in street shoes but I bought an 8W in these. I hope this helps.

These Saucony shoes are very comfortable, I walk about 5 miles everyday and love them. I'm a size 7, with extremely flat feet. The only negative I can think of is they wear in the big toe first and a hole will develop.

These are very comfortable! I ordered a 9D because of a bad bunion surgery but have to send it back for an 8.5.

These Saucony Echelon 5 shoes are very comfortable. They are wide enough to fit my custom made orthotics. I do wish that there were more colors like solid black.

In my constant struggle to find shoes with a wide toe, this is where I turned. The toebox is a bit larger than most, but only by a bit, so I moved to a wide width. It is great that they offer different widths, and the wide works well at letting my toes spread enough to be able to grip and not be squished and uncomfortable. I wish the ankle/heel area was just a bit smaller, but that's because I have narrow heel. I don't slip out of this like I do with most shoes that fit my toebox, which is great. The bottom of the shoe is less flexible than I expected, but it's loosening up a bit each day. Overall, this should do well for my morning power walks.

Loved everything about the shoe except there was some rough stitching on the inside that hit right across my pinky toe. I could feel it before I even stood up and knew immediately that it would cause blisters. Except for that I'd have kept the shoe.

Very comfortable shoe and I like the color combination. Wish the mesh fabric on top did not extend so far forward since I wore a hole in my last pair with my big toe.

Great shoe but it was too long. I normally wear a 9 but relied on info in reviews and ordered one half size up. The shoe is too big.

These shoes are very comfortable for walking. I supinate when walking, and the neutral cushioning is perfect.

I discovered Sauconys quite a few years ago and they fit my high arch feet like they are custom made for me and these are no different. They are comfortable right out of the box. Right now I own three pair of Sanconys - two for the gym and this new pair will be my travel pair. I am taking these with me on my upcoming trip to San Francisco and know they will be comfortable for the hours of walking that I plan to do.

This Saucony style was comfortable from my first wear. I walked several miles in them the first week after receiving them, and I was quite pleased with their comfort.

Saucony's naturally run a bit wide. I would normally wear a 7W, but the medium width is wide (definately NOT a true medium). I bought the 7.5 med and really like the larger toe box. My big toe has a tendency to press up on eventually rub a hole in the top of the shoe but in this shoe it didn't do that. I am returning the shoe because when I put my custom orthodic in the shoes are too big, and I found another Asics shoe that fits better with my orthodic inside.

I LOVE these sneakers! They are the most comfortable sneakers I've ever owned! I've had plantar fasciitis on and off for a few years. It gets worse when I'm on my feet for a long time and/or if I wear the same pair of shoes for more than two days. After one day of breaking these in, I walked around Disneyworld for four days straight with no problems whatsoever! This was my second pair of this style, but I actually bought a half size smaller than the first pair. Normally I go up a half size because I have a wide foot. But my first pair (7 1/2W), was a bit long, so I tried the 7W. It fits like it was custom made for my foot! The removable insole gives you more flexibility if you use custom insoles or orthotics, but the shoes offer great support on their own. If you are looking for a super comfy, yet supportive sneaker, your search ends here!

Saucony makes the best running shoes for neutral gait or supinating runners. This is no exception, and is also a bit wider in the B width than their most recent shoe - more like the old Sauconys. Zappos, please keep carrying shoes like this one! I wear a 9B, and this fits perfectly.

Very comfortable supportive shoe. I wear them with my inserts for walking and they are my favorite shoe. I just purchased my third pair. The inserts that come with the shoe are very thick and are comfortable as well.
