I purchased these to replace the Brooks Beast I've been using for the last 10 years. I'm 6'4" and 250lbs. After 3 months the Redeemer is a far superior product. It's comfortable straight out of the box. The size seems true to fit. The foot bed feels flat and in fact the stability doesn't seem artificial like someone stuck a stone wedge under your arch. The insoles are very cushy and better than the Beast ones which I thought was one of the Brooks best features. The ride feels flat and neutral. The sole and the outer materials seem to be wearing far better than the Beast. I use to get holes in the top of the Beast regularly. The improvements over the Beast are significant in all categories in addition to less money. So if you're not happy with the Beast's geriatric new look and discomfort the Redeemer is the new King.

Saucony told me this replaced the Stabil CS 3. It fits completely differently. I wear these with orthotics. The Stabile CS 3 was the best shoe I have ever owned. These don't fit anything like those. I bought 2 extra pairs of the CS 3 when I found there were great. Now I am sending back the Saucony Redeemer's. Aside from the width change the lines on the right side of the new shoe rub my picky toe. So, getting a narrower shoe would only change the problem. I am again in search of a comfortable running shoe, Etc. I should have known and bought 10 pairs. If I ever find another shoe that fits I will by 10 pairs. I assume if things continue this way, a blister on my picky toe will get infected and due to diabetes the toe will be removed and then my problem will go away trying to fit into shoes.

Like another reviewer, I got this to replace the Stabile CS3 and I also wear these with orthotics, but I didn't have any issue with the fit with my orthotics. I like the look of these better than the CS3's and the comfort and stability are right where I wanted them to be. I've always had good luck with Saucony - when I used to race, I did a half marathon in Sauconys that I got on the day of the race (it's a long story) and have stuck with them ever since. My only knock on them is the price, but that's about what you pay for motion control shoes, I guess.

Very comfy solid shoe. I own a Crossfit gym so I do some pretty extreme stuff with these shoes and so far they are holding up well.

Very comfortable shoe out of the box. Looks great runs a size small ordered 12.5 needed 13. Easy return no problems.

The shoe is comfortable, but had to return and order a 1/2 size larger.

fit true to standard. This is the only shoe that offers me the support I need with significant ankle issues on my one foot. I have tried other high end motion control shoes, but this Saucony is better than the Brooks or Avia for my feet.

Great shoe, son outgrew it before it wore out. Blue color is a nice shade. Double width was perfect. Would buy again.

I have flat feet and I pronate. Saucony running shoes have always given me tremendous support and made walking a pleasure again.

These are very supportive shoes with rounded toebox for added width in toebox. My custom orthotics fit these nicely. I was having back pain and the pain went away immediately after I started wearing these.

Got these for my husband and every SUPER aspect of satisfaction is within these shoes. He is not a runner but is an outdoorsman-he really likes that these are well made along with comfotable!

These are some of the most supportive shoes. I was having back pain from standing at work and it went away almost immediately after I started wearing these.

Fit and ware are good this is my third set well made, excellent for over pronation stance, Zappos service is the best return policy is the best.

I purchased these for my husband. He's wearing them for his walks and much more, and is very pleased with the shoe.

Very very comfortable. Has a big toe box. Feels stable. Maybe my favorite shoe I've bought in years. I am 6'3 and 245 lbs!

These have become my replacement for my old Brooks Beast. Did feel just a little smaller than normal but have my regular size and they are fine. Very pleased.

I have tried many brands of running shoes, and I have finally found the best for me. I have a terrible over-pronation issue with both feet, but my left is the worst. It is so bad, that I injured both knees several years ago while running. The Saucony Redeemer is the first shoe that I have tried where I did not have to add arch supports. Once I stood up on them, I could feel a decided difference in the support. I have used them for six runs so far, and I really believe they have helped my knee issues. My knees are in real bad shape, but last night I went four miles in these shoes without any knee pain. I went online and bought another pair after my workout. If you have an over-pronation problem, these shoes should help you.

Let me first say how difficult it is to buy shoes for my husband. I had gotten to the point that I refused to go shoe shopping with him. Shopping on Zappos has almost made it painless. I was able to filter for his size and width, narrow it down to several pairs that he liked and have three pairs shipped to our home in Alaska for FREE! We ordered two pairs of the Saucony Redeemer in two different colors and one pair of Brooks. The Saucony Redeemers fit great and are very comfortable. Unfortunately the Brooks did not fit as well because his feet have extremely high arches, and they were not as comfortable for him. I was able to return the pair that didn't work for FREE, and kept both pairs of the Saucony's. This will defiantly be how we do it again in the future.

These may be the most comfortable running show ever. I weight about 205 pounds and tend to be hard on running shoes. These are very stable and are very enjoyable to wear. The price is high, but so far very much worth the cost.

Fits perfect and very comfortable. I used to wear the Saucony Hurricane and was looking for a similar shoe in a darker color pattern. The Redeemer was a perfect alternative.

These are wide. The regular width size are bunching below the laces. I haven't had them long enough to comment on comfort or durability.

Love the feel and ride but the sole wears out quickly. I put in 35 per week and they wore thin in about 4 weeks. The blown rubber sole is a bit soft but is lighter. I also wear the beast 16 and the sole so better but the toe wears out quick as a few other said.Overall very please, but unsure about wear and having to order more often.
