Soft, comfortable, not too tight or loose.

These are just the right length, just the right weight and they don't cling anywhere. Pay attention to the size chart. I'm considering buying another pair of these before someone decides to discontinue making them! By comparison, I prefer them to the Lucy Vital Short which I am returning to Zappos today. Lucy short is more of a "yoga" short - just not what I was going to use them for.

A great pair of shorts! I'll buy another. Comfortable, stretchy. Good for working out, yoga, jogging, or just hanging out. Sizing exactly right. I bought a size up (medium) because I wanted a little extra room.

I understand the comments that the fabric is substantial, but it also means that lumps and stuff never show, make it an appropriate short for wherever one might wear shorts! I think I will use these in multiple ways, thanks for the pockets: tennis, working out, running around. Very nice and stretchy. No muffin top at waist. I wanted a loose fit so while I am a 10-12 I got a large. Stuff always seems to shrink on me anyway....

These shorts are comfortable for working out and I like the pockets and the length. The only thing I would change is the weight of the material. It's a little heavy and can be hot during workouts on summer days. I ordered size small and the fit is perfect (5'6", 120 lbs).

Awesome athletic shorts, dry very fast so great for beach or pool and longer inseam for those of us with legs we don't want to show. Cuter in person than in picture, just bought another pair.

I bought these shorts for tennis as they have pockets. They are perfect; soft, stretchy fabric, flattering longer length that is appropriate for my sense of style and age, quick drying. I would but another pair in charcoal gray if this were available. I am 5'6", 120 lbs, and size small fits just right.

These shorts hug your curves in a nice way. They are not too short and the wide waistband is comfortable. The fabric is substantial without being stiff or heavy. What a nice change from obviously athletic-looking shorts.

While fit and size were good, I can't get past the thick fabric on these. The fabric is like super thick legging fabric. I think I'm just not used to that with shorts. So I am returning them.

I bought the product to do runs in. The material didn't work for me. I was worried about it riding up my thighs as I run.

These shorts were great for the most part, but I had to send them back. The waist band was such that it gave me a muffin top, and I can't deal with that! Otherwise, they are great shorts. It's hard to tell from the picture, but it's a wide, taught waists band that almost feels like a girdle. The usually would be great. I think that even if I ordered up to a medium, the band would still be such that it would cause the muffin top. I just decided not to take another chance, even with free shipping.

These shorts have an elastic waistband and I felt when I was running that they were going to fall down. And the legs rid up a bit when I was running. I'm used to shorts that require less tugging when I'm running!

Not for me - the legs were cut so generously they looked like bell bottom shorts. ?

I have the older version of this short. The new ones have a shorter rise, which I don't personally love. The fabric and style is fine. Im returning them because of the low cut of the waist band.

Oh, I was so hopeful!!! Unfortunately these bunches up in the crotch area (in an obviously unpleasant way) - which is so disappointing as the length was great and the feel soft and comfy. I decided to return them as I couldn't get past the odd fit. I expect a near perfect short for this price. Had to return.

I returned them, not what I expected. They were most likely fine, not for someone my age.
