Love this shoe! The support is terrific, am not a runner but this is the only shoe I walk in all the time. For a 9 1/2 size, because of the styling they make the foot look smaller. The colors are sharp. Have worn one other style of Asics but much prefer the Kayano for its better support.

I love these Asics! I usually don't buy running shoes that are this expensive but I really noticed a difference in the support. They look and feel great and I recommend them highly.

Great shoe. I use mostly for walking and cross training. I was having heel trouble and it seems to help alleviate any pain. It is not a light shoe. Fit is great.

I run about 20 miles a week and have loved the Gel Kayano 19 and 20. I just purchased the 22 and they do not disappoint! I'm also obsessed with the colors!

This is my third pair of Asics Gel- Kayanos. I absolutely love them. The cushion, stability, and arch support are great. These will be my new running shoe after breaking in for a couple days. I love the colors! Asics does not disappoint! If you have a high arch these are perfect. My feet currently feel like they are walking on clouds!

After buying numerous pairs of sneakers these were well worth the wait! They are so comfortable! I do boot camps and walk in these. They provide great support and cushioning! I highly recommend them.

These shoes are amazing! I pronate terribly and require a wider width and the Kayano 22 fit the bill! The cushioning in the bottom feels great even after a long run! I will buy them again!

These are aawesome running shoes! I went from the Kayano 21 to these and they have the same phenomenal support while fitting my feet very well. The only downside that I have found is that they are a bit heavier than the 21 but that is not overly noticeable when I am wearing them! All in all, I definitely suggest buying these shoes!

This is my fourth pair of GEL-Kayanos. I went from the Kayano 20 to the 22, skipping 21 due to the fit problems people were reporting in their reviews. These were very nearly like my beloved 20. I wear 8N in dress shoes, and 8½ in running shoes. I tried the 8½N Kayano 22, but it was too narrow even for me. I sent them back for the tried and true 8½M, but they are just slightly shorter than my 20 in the same size. Sadly they are going back. I am pretty sure that the 9 will be too long and too wide. Darn! I love my GEL-Kayanos!

Love the shoe but the new version is a bit short -- I need to go up to a half size larger ! Great returns at Zapper's though !!

As many have pointed out, the Kayano 22's are narrower in the toe box, which could be a problem for some. The new shape doesn't bother me, but I do prefer the older Kayano 20 model and hope that Asics reverts back to that toebox.

Unfortunately the shoes were too small and I had to return them. They were comfortable and I wish they would have fit me.

Comfortable, I did not give it 5 stars because the toe box is a not as wide as I would have liked. In the past I have ordered the GEL-Noosa which does have a wide toe box. I loved the color of this design and they are a vibrant as the picture.

I'm not in love yet, but they are the best of 3 other pairs I tried. They do have great cushion, but feel heavy. Hoping once I break them in I'll like them alot. As a note, these are true to size for Asics, but do run short compared to other brands.

These shoes run small.....order a half size larger. They were comfortable from the minute I put them on.

This shoe is beautiful, but heavier than other running shoe. I brought this pair of shoe for my daughter cross country training, the shoe slowed down her whole process & she gave up to wear this for training. This pair of shoe ended up for casual wear now.

I have been a long time buyer of Asics running shoes. I buy them for their motion control/stability. However as others have commented they have changed the room in the toe box. I therefore ordered a wide, which worked in the toe box area however was large in the ankle area. Might have to seek different brand in future, I'm sorry to say.

I have always worn a med but these shoes although comfortable were a little narrow. I am exchanging them for a wide. Thank you Zappos for your patience.

I ordered these sneakers because I previously owned the kayano 19 style. I didn't feel that the sneakers were too narrow like the other reviews mentioned. They fit very comfortably and fit simarlarly to my old pair. I only wish the arch support was a little better so that I didn't have to use my orthotics.

I wanted to like this shoe but it did not work for me. I normally buy 9.5 in Asics running shoes but these 9.5s were too long in the toe and the 9s were too short. As other reviewers noted, the toe box is narrow and sort of pointy. I don't understand why Asics sizes vary so much with their shoe styles. The all black color (even with the silver accents) is rather dark and masculine. I prefer my black shoes to have a white sole at least to brighten them up. The positive aspect of these shoes is that they seems super durable with heavy-duty cushioning (especially in the heel). Probably would be great shoes for the right feet.

I really like these shoes because of the cushioned sole throughout the toe to heel. Your seriously walking on a pillow/waterbed and it's heaven! A+ for cushioned sole. I wear a wide shoe so I ordered a wide and typically on the Asics brand I have plenty of extra room amongst my toes and top of foot. With the Kayano it is a closer fit then I prefer, however the material is stretchy so I know soon after a bit of wear, I will get the extra, relaxed width that I desire. The toebox area is high enough so it's not crushing down on your toes or pinching the sides of them. I have Plantar Fasciitis and have not had the shoes long enough to see if it will help relieve the pain. At this moment I rate it 4 stars for arch support. Overall, a good purchase, I'm going to knock off 1 star for width, I felt they were a bit on the narrow side. Buy this shoe, they are so comfy!
