Asics running shoes are always my go-to!

Love these running shoes. I buy them every 6 months and they always fit perfectly. I do wish they would tone down the colors just a bit - but that's because I'm an old fuddy-duddy!

I have many foot "issues" and these shoes are what I have been looking for. Very comfortable with good cushioning and support. They appear to be hugging my feet with good support. I have hope that I will be able to do some walking while on vacation.

I have narrow feet and these seemed much narrower than the last pair I purchased two years ago, but that's good for me. Same size as last pair, but better. Super comfortable right away - no blisters and great color.

I am a big asics fan. I went from gt 2000s to the gel kayano 22s. This shoe is comfortable & supportive & I am very satisfied with my purchase. I love the black color as well, makes it easy to match with multiple outfits! You won't be disapointed with these awesome shoes! Cheers!

ran a little short in the toe

I just received these shoes and love them. I try to read reviews on fit before purchasing, so just wanted to add that although I had on a older pair of ASICS in my regular size when these arrived, they are definitely NOT the same length. I exchanged for 1/2 size up and they fit perfect. Although I see reviewers claiming they are too narrow, I do not find that to be the case. I always wear a narrow shoe, and these fit very comfortably.

Great shoes if you need a lot of cushion and structure. I had to order a wider size as they seem to fit snug. They solved my achy feet problem.

I have and always will buy Asics. I purchased these in a wide width because I planned on wearing a thick cushioned sock with them so I wanted to make sure I had plenty of room. I normally don't need a wide width in Asics but these do seem to run narrow. I wouldn't have been able to wear these in a medium width with a jersey liner sock. But the wide width works and they have great mushy padding. Not as padded as Nimbus 17 but great none the less.

Thank goodness I have finally found a narrow width running shoe that is actually narrow! I've worn Brooks for years but the narrows have become so wide it's ridiculous. There are not very many options for narrow feet, yet tons of options for wide feet, I just don't get it. I have ordered 5 pairs in total this year, I run 10ks and half marathons, and these shoes are just awesome, they fit like a glove. I used to struggle with Achilles tendinitis and a myriad of other issues because my foot would wobble in shoes that were just too wide. Please do not change the make up of these shoes, they are my absolute favorite!

Love these because they are comfortable on my problem feet, hips and back. I need lots padding, mesh outside on bunion area and not too wide overall (NARROW HEEL) but like wide toe box due to bunion. I would order a different color but none are available at this time. PLEASE RESTOCK !!

My normal size in street shoes is 8 or 8.5 B or C (depending on how they are made), but I always go longer with the Gel Kayanos. The last pair I had was the Kayano 20 in a 9B, and I ordered the same size in the 22. They fit just fine. Others have commented that the toe box is narrower than before, and I think this is true, but the 20 was a bit wide in that area for me, so narrowing it was not a problem for me. I have a heavy duty pair of orthotics due to an ankle injury (I can't run any longer, so I do the elliptical) and they fit into the shoes.

I ordered my shoes by phone. Customer service was great! Because I was a new customer they gave me free one day shipping which I thought was fantastic.

These shoes are great. Asics Kayano are the only shoes that don't give me break in blisters. They are perfect for my feet. They were on my door step in no time. Thank you Zappos.

There can't be a better running/walking shoe for a narrow foot with high arches than Asics , and the KAyano is the best especially at the price zappos discounted to! I love this shoe. But what I really wanted to review was the excellent costumer service I received from zappos representatives. When I began this purchase I was looking for sandals to fit my narrow, arched foot. I did 4 exchanges before I gave up on the sandals and bought the Asics . Each rep I dealt with over the 6 week period was pleasant, professional, and informed . They each went out of their way to process orders, exchanges and make sure a coupon was applied to each exchange. Hard to imagine better service than what I received! Thanks zappos team!

I wish the toe was just a bit wider, but these are great with the gel, feels very cushy. Love the navy and hot pink. Shoelaces are easy to lace up, and just the right length. Heel is snug, and just right. Very good for flat, over pronated feet. Ordered a half size larger and wide width instead of medium, as I wear orthotics.

Finally a narrow running shoe. I absolutely love it and think that I should buy a few extra pairs just in case ASICS discontinues this model. I have worn ASICS for the past 6 years and this is by far my favorite running shoe!

Perfect, perfect, perfect. I was nervous when I read that others found this shoe too narrow after comparing to previous 'models' of the same shoe. This fits me exactly like the last 2 pair of Kayanos I've purchased--medium is just that...medium...and just right! Love the colors on this shoe and the comfort is incredible. Perfect for the tremendous amount of walking I do in Boston on uneven surfaces to hitting the treadmill at the gym. The sale price made them even sweeter! Thanks Zappos!

I started running half marathons earlier this year and the first pair of real legit running shoes my local running store recommended was these. I'm wearing down my original pair so bought a second pair. For me, they required no breaking in at all, wore them on a 7.5 mile run the first time I wore them with no problem! My right foot is slightly larger than my left so after about 10 miles I start to get rubbing on my inside heel but nothing that some anti-friction stick can't solve. I've got plantar fasciitis and these are supportive out of the box, I don't even wear inserts with them.

Ordered next size per recommendation from previous customers . These are to small, and to narrow. So am returning both pairs

I'm super-confused about the many people saying these are narrow. My feet are wide enough that I rarely even try to stuff them into women's shoes, because the wide sizes are never wide enough. But I needed a shoe that would help with an aching achillles tendon, so I took a chance on the D width. They're really comfortable and my heel is slowly getting better.

I have worn Asics Gel-Kayanos for many years. They were my favorite running shoes and now that I don't run anymore, I still buy them for walking and the gym. I love the fit of the "22".
