Using this for college and it really holds up to the big amount of books I have to carry around for my lectures. Plus, this bag makes distributes the weight to where I don't mind the weight of the books as much.

I bought this book bag for my daughter for school. It is very roomy and comfortable.

I love the design, it is a small version of those used for long walks or trips. I use it daily carrying my computer, books for work of which I can say that I find it very comfortable and I can carry everything I need.

I am notorious for carrying around way too much stuff, and this is the first backpack that allows me to do so without my back hurting! Its rigid back panel contours to my back and makes it feel like I'm not carrying anything. The stylish colors and large outer pocket are great features as well! By far the best backpack I have ever used; I am excited to bring it along on all my future adventures.

My daughter uses this backpack for high school. When my middle school aged son needed a backpack as well, we bought the Recon in a different color. They both love the back pack.

This backpack is great for commuting to work.

Take it everywhere. I travel a lot and work 24 hour shifts. I need to carry everything with me.

Nice backpack for my work stuff

This is a beautiful backpack -- well-designed and built to last. However, I am 5'7" with muscular shoulders and a long torso, so I'll be exchanging this for a regular men's bag. (The straps are smaller and set more narrowly on this bag, and it feels like it rides really high since I'm long-waisted.) I love my husband's North Face backpack; I'll just order myself one of those. :-)

These backpacks last a long time! I have friends who have them and love them. I also bought it for the warranty.

I bought the backpack for my boyfriend as a Christmas present. He has had a North Face backpack to take to work for the past 10 or so years and it finally gave out. He is a chef and will often have knives and food in the backpack to go to catering jobs or to bring to work. I like that it has padding on the back because he will wear it on his motorcycle and the padding will add a little extra support for the items he carries.
