I use this as my daily hold-everything bag. If I could change one thing, I would want the small pocket to have a shorter zipper so it doesn't open all the way.

I love this backpack!! I had one in high school and used it all 4 years and it was great! I then got a new one for college, and love all the features even more! It's great for walking across campus and holds all of my books. It's super roomy great for a long day of studying. It is very durable and I have never had any problems with the design. It is also great for the rain because not of my books or computer have ever gotten wet! Overall it's a great purchase!!

I bought this for my son for college and he said it's the best pack he's ever had. He loves it and it looks really nice too.

My wife uses this as her "teacher" bag for all things that need brought to and from school!

Love this backpack! I use it to carry my work computer in and out of the clinic and it is not only comfortable on my shoulders but also super cute! As a physical therapist I am all for promoting spine health and comfort and this backpack is great for dispersing weight while not hurting my neck/shoulders.

I bought this for my daughter who's a high school freshman. She asked for it for her books/supplies and absolutely loves it! It's roomy, comfortable, and stylish.

I did quite a bit of research on what backpack to get for my 10 yr old now that he is lugging a computer, binders, etc. for hybrid learning. This met (and ended up surpassing) the requirements that I had for comfort and storage space. There are plenty of pockets for ever need you could possibly have. This backpack has features that I didn't even know about before purchasing it... I mean... there is a whistle on one of the buckles. As they say, there is a place for everything and everything's in it's place. I would highly recommend this backpack and will definitely purchase again in the future!

I use this back pack as my every thing bag now, going hiking, commuting to work, shove random things in it I have to take somewhere because I'm too lazy to carry them, you name and this bag is great for it. It's got the chest and waist straps that are really nice for hiking to help distribute the weight of my gear. The back straps are super comfy, cause there's nothing worse than lugging around a back pack that makes your shoulders hurt. It's perfect for everything I've used it for, and it has enough space to carry every thing I need and the stuff I seem to think I need.

Love the padded laptop sleeve and pockets. Can hold everything my kids need for school!

Use to carry computer and gear for work!

I had a Borealis for 6 years and decided I wanted a bag with a little more room. I am so glad I chose this one! The quality is excellent and they really thought of all the little details one might want in a bag when they made this!

Great product. I have had mine for a little over 2 years and it has held up well.

The latest version of the Recon is a good backpack. The separate laptop compartment is nice to keep the laptop away from the rest of your items. The small pocket is shallow, so it doesn't fit as much as prior Recons, so it's not as useful. You can't put as many small pieces to carry, so you have to use the middle pocket.

I had the old north face recon backpack and I feel like this is an upgrade from it. Although I miss the old design of the recon, I love the the one I own now. It also looks better and person. There's so much room you could fit a lot of things in it and still feel light weight. Best backpack purchase ever.

Great backpack for travel or everyday use. Comfortable and stylish

Versatile is what this backpack means to me. This North Face backpack is versatile in so many ways. It's great to haul my school books and easy enough to empty and pack a lunch with my mom for a hike. It makes a great overnight bag to a friend's house, and we fill it up with games, doggie snacks, and lunch on our road trips. I love this backpack! It makes me feel great that I share it so many different ways with my family.

My son uses this for high school. Perfect for keeping MacBook safe and roomy enough for books.
