Good backpack overall A little small

other north face backpacks have two pockets and this only has one

A laptop pocket, a large main pocket and a smallish pocket for pens and small items. Well made, and will probably be durable.

Purchased backpack for my Granddaughter. She loves the style and quality. Very roomy, the layout is functional, making access to what you want easy. Very pleased with this product.

The backpack is definitely an upgrade from my former one and has enough space for everything I need to carry. The front pocket was surprisingly smaller than I thought it would be and would've liked it to be bigger but it does the job. Overall, very comfortable and is more than adequate.

I brought a grey one and I love it. There are only 2 pockets, 1 big one and inside has small space for your laptop and 1 small one for your pencils and calculator. I wish that there were more pockets but overall I really like it. Try taking a picture with flash... super cool

I bought the light grey jester backpack. I'm a pretty tall lean guy, and I plan to use this every day to begin college. Looks good, feels good, and fits everything fairly well. The only cons are that the front zipper (the smaller zipper compartment) is pretty small and for some reason it does not run all the way down to the bottom of the backpack, which did occur in an older jester backpack I still own. Also, the pockets for holding water bottles are not as elastic as I thought they would be, and so you'd have to stretch it out carefully to insert a water bottle. This backpack by the way does not fit hydroflasks or anything wide in the waterbottle compartments. It'll only fit a standard Swell size bottle at the most.

It's a good bag. It's super comfy and has water bottle pockets to hold my hydro flask, so that's a plus. I also really like the fact that it's super light when compared to other brands of backpacks.

This backpack is awesome for elementary, and middle school, but once I got to high school, I realized it was a bit small to carry all of my things I needed. (laptop, binders, books, etc.) However, I've had mine for three years and it has lasted great! No hole or tears!

I'm a female college student and I was looking for a light grey backpack. I love the size/roominess of the bag, but I agree with others saying the "mid grey/dark heather" definitely is darker than the picture. It's not charcoal or anything, but the actual color is closer to the description rather than picture. It's not too off and I think it'll look cute with a girly water bottle on the side.

I purchased this backpack for my daughter for her freshman year of high school. She loved it! She was amazed at how much she could fit into this bag! She has used it so far for camping and traveling, but she knows it will be perfect for all the things she needs to carry back and forth to school in September.

I use it to carry computer lunch water on the side pocket carry phone in the other side pocket.

I use this backpack for travel and school. It is great for both. It has enough pockets to store items and when I go to school, all my items and laptop and secure, protected, and easy to access.

I wish it was a little more stylish but the comfortability and functionality make up for it.

I use the product for light travel and as a day pack, it's very handy for such things.

After 8 years with one north face backpack I opted for a second. This one is slightly smaller than expected but quality nonetheless. I've had it for almost a month now and no issues.

One of the straps stretched out and now the other one can't so I can't make them even. This makes it very uncomfortable to carry around.

Which is perfect for those want to use this backpack for school or outdoor activity. In addition to the comfort of The Jester Backpack, it's durability and style is commendable. Usually when it comes to backpacks you encounter opportunity cost, trading style over durability and vice versa. I usually find it hard to source a backpack that's capable of having both. The bags' simplistic design and color scheme is one that fits various personalities. There are 13 different colors to choose from that range from neutral to vibrant colors. So, you're ensured to find a color selection that complements your style. With that being said the quality of the backpack sets industry standards. The material selection meets the needs of durability as the backpack is able to withhold itself after being tarnished through a series of events time after time. I've used this backpack as a high schooler for the past two years. I love the color, and the way it looks. Only down fall is that it does not hold all of my stuff and it always tips over!

i've had this pack for the past 3 years of highschool and i love it. it would have gotten five stars, except for the fact that it won't hold all my books if i have any sort of binder with me. it doesn't effect me using it much at all, is just a little inconvenient at times. overall, this is the best backpack i've ever had and i plan on carrying it into college!

This backpack is great, it's very sturdy and definitely durable. I've had it for over a year now and it's in great condition. I use it daily for school and I've even takes it hiking a couple of times and I have no complaints. It is o the smaller side but if you adjust the pull straps in the front it gives you a bit more room!

This backpack is great for school and traveling! I've taken mine all over the country and it holds up so well. It's a great carry on for a plane, small enough to take on a road trip without crowding up the car, and great for students. My only complaint is I have a lot of textbooks and binders and it's too small to fit everything, but when I didn't have as much stuff it was perfect!

I love mine. Except it didn't come with a stretchy strap on front. Other than that one flaw, it is an amazing bag.
