Great pack that looks better and has plenty of pockets for your needs. The hard back provides proper support when taking this one hiking.

My daughter uses this for school, it fits all her books and her laptop and is comfortable to wear. I would buy it again.

Use everyday. Have a couple of them that are still great but always like the updated features. Last one I owned for over 10yrs and it's still durable and can be used

I am an international student studying in the UK. I originally had a backpack meant for my computer but it didn't work well when travelling as it was very small. Although I have not had the chance to travel much recently, it has been wonderful to use going to and from the UK as I am able to extend the backpack as much as I need, while it can be made quite thin when I am using it to carry books and my laptop around campus. Would love to use it more soon!

I've had this backpack for 6+ months now. Literally no signs of wear/tear. Perfect condition. Great pockets - different sizes & shapes that fit everything perfectly. I'm a nursing student who obviously has many textbooks to carry at times and this backpack could hold me up for days. I've used it as a leisurely travel backpack as well and the pockets are perfect for so many little things. The sleeve fits my laptop (and I was worried because my laptop is slightly larger, but it fits like a GLOVE), and it is a gem. I am so happy I got this backpack and will use it til the day it cannot be used anymore. And then buy another one. Hahaha!

I use this backpack for daily commute home to office. Sometimes my office is in a truck or at a desk- laptop and a change of clothes, it has plenty of room!

I had this backpack all throughout college and my first two years of working at a hospital. So reliable and sturdy, never wore down!

I bought this for my daughter who is only in preschool because she was required to have a full size backpack. I received a full size North Face backpack in 6th grade, and besides a few small blemishes, it's still going 20 years later. The quality is made to last. My diaper bag for my youngest just broke and Ordered 1 more for that purpose.

I got away from the tactical look. This is a perfect bag.

Bought this for my son - they are not allowed to use lockers anymore at his school so this is a durable bag that holds everything he needs and he loves it

It's been 4 months since I bought this. This review is not the first feeling. This is something I write honestly after experiencing dozens of wearing. This is my first North Face bag. I saw this and asked myself, why didn't I know this until now? This is very good as a daily backpack. Various things can be put in, including laptops. There are small pockets in front, which are good for storing small and precious items. There is a net pocket at the front, and I keep things that I need to access quickly. My gear is always ready to start. I do this together when I go on a short trip, when I meet my friends, when I go to school, and when I go anywhere. This is a functionally very good gear. But if it caused inconvenience, I wouldn't be with it all the time. It is very wearable. Its shoulder cushion and strap control were very convenient. And it was easy to use. I even sent it to a friend in New York as a birthday present. That friend also needed a bag. I was sure this would be the best gift for the friend and gave it to him. That friend is also very satisfied. The friend expressed a great gratitude to me. If there is one thing to be desired, the bag, which is a little more expensive than this, is divided into two laptop storage areas. If I had known that, I would have bought a more expensive product. But that doesn't mean I'm not satisfied with this. I love and cherish this very much. If you need a bag to use every day for yourself or for someone else, I highly recommend it. And if you experience this, you'll find North Face forever.

I have nothing bad to say about this backpack! It has held up through my teenager who usually destroys her backpack with 1 year and she loves it! I definitely would buy it again!
