This is my second backpack my first lasted about 20 years

This book back is perfect for a college student like myself. There's more than enough room for all of my books, my water bottle plus my laptop. I wasn't sure if this was going to be worth the price tag, but it's beyond worth it! Very happy with it.

I love this backpack. It's spacious yet compact, durable and rugged yet feminine and all around great! It has many pockets to organize everything. I bought it to replace a previous North face backpack that's 19 years and still around. If it still had zipper pulls it would still be usable after all these years which speaks to the durability of North face products. If it lasts half as long as my previous one I'd be very lucky indeed! My previous backpack was with me through high school, college, two states and several jobs. I trust North face backpacks.

Great durable backpack! I use it for my daily commutes from home to work and back and it's very comfortable. Takes a beating and keeps on ticking. Would definitely recommend!

My old recon backpack finally gave out after 5+ years. Decided to get a new one and once again, I'm very satisfied! Love this updated model! Very comfortable, plenty of space. Would recommend to anyone.

I am able to take to classes and then to work. Fits everything I need for both work and classes.

I've used it for work and school, and just for every day use of carrying things. It comfortable and I love the color! I also plan on using it to travel with and take hiking this summer!

Love this backpack. I holds everything Including the kitchen sink. The side pockets for my 40oz water bottle is nice and deep no worries that it is going to fall out.

Bought this as a gift for my wife and she loves it!

It's My new EDC. But mostly I use it for going to set. As a background actor I can fit tons of clothes and a pair of 6" boots for changes.

I took this bag snowboarding and it fit all my gear, I didn't ride with it mainly because I don't ride wearing a pack. I love that the accessories pockets are fleece lined so it doesn't scratch glasses or my phone. Comfortable straps and good adjustability. This bag is replacing another TNF bag I've had for 20 years. I will take it cycling and appreciate that there is a strap to attach a rear light.

Used for light hiking. Doesn't hurt my back.

I use it daily to carry my laptop to work. I've also used it for hiking. Super comfy straps and holds a LOT. Love all the pockets and compartments.

So far the backpack has been great. Just what I was looking for. Big enough for what I need and not too big. It's a bit different than the Recon I bought my daughter 5 years ago before she started college. If it last as well as hers has, which she uses regularly and is still going strong, I'll be thrilled.

The looks, style a d just plain cool

I recently purchased this backpack for my dad to travel with. He loves the sturdy back support and all the pockets. He used it as his under the seat carryon. The separate compartment for a laptop allowed him to remove it quick and easy for TSA without accidentally dropping stuff that didn't need to be removed. Having the smaller pockets at the top of the bag made it easier to retrieve stuff during the flight. The front mesh pocket was perfect for his newspaper. His favorite detail of the backpack was probably the whistle that is part of the chest snaps. He would use it whenever he couldn't find my mom. He asked why I didn't buy him a NorthFace backpack sooner.

Great bag for all the essentials in a short business trip.

I got this for my husbands birthday and he is obsessed! It has everything! It has the laptop pocket, great size compartments, smaller pockets and holds 2 water bottles on the sides. It looks very high quality, it's light weight and very comfortable. It would work well for hiking too!

I've used this same type of backpack for 6 years and needed to get a new one. I got the darker gray color so it doesn't get as dirty quickly!

I use it for school, it's a little too small but overall i like it.

I use the backpack as an everyday tote to carry all my items that wouldn't otherwise fit in a purse.

These are the only back packs I use! They fit everything in an organized fashion and have 2 spots for water bottles, which is key as a student!
