The pack is a very good go anywhere pack. I use it pretty much everyday. I take it camping and fishing but also for my school days. The quality is great. I feel it will be with me for a very very long time.

Love this pack. It has been great for my recent hikes and works great as a full day pack when traveling light. Wish it was slightly larger to really bring everything that would be nice for a trip, but I am not holding that against such a great pack. The laptop and interior pockets in the main compartment are great for holding the essentials and keeping them safe/secure. Strong zippers have been real nice for packing the bag full knowing that they won't seperate. All in all it is a great pack that I have been enjoying for all of my adventures! #tnflocals #ambsdr

I use my pack for hiking and I love it. The pack itself has plenty, if not, more than enough storage for the items I need to bring with me. I love the soft compartment on the front, I can fit my DLSR, Ray Bans, AND iPhone in there all together, I love that it has plenty of storage for water bottles as I usually bring atleast 3L with me (I utilize the inside compartments as well). I did not give it a 5 star solely because of the weight of the pack and how comfortable it is to carry for extended periods, I'm on the smaller side and I feel this is on the heavier side for a pack, that doesn't take away from how much I love it! It's comfortable when I wear it (I did 15 miles of hiking this past weekend) but my shoulders/traps feel it afterwards.

I use this product for school. This backpack is very handy because I am a student athlete so I have practice everyday after school and there is a dedicated compartment for shoes where I put my cleats. Very high quality product, as expected from north face. Some improvements could be to make it stand up by itself and maybe make the top compartment with a hard shell so I could be more confident to put my sunglasses and other delicate things in there. Overall a great product.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the mesh interior pocket in the top compartment was put on the part that opens, which isn't rigid enough to hold the mesh tight against the pocket after you open it. It should've been attached to the interior frame of the compartment. Other than that, I am highly satisfied with this product.

This pack has been great! It's been great for small hikes and as a commuter pack. It holds plenty for short journeys and works great when filled to the max. I have used it as an overnight pack and it holds plenty of stuff including a camera, tripod and 2 lenses for going out to shoot the stars when I don't want to bring two bags with me. The external water bottle pockets are great and are designed really well allowing the placement of just about anything in them.

I just received this pack as a gift that I had picked out online. I noticed that the Forest Night Green color of the zippers and shoulder straps did not look at all like the picture online. The color looks more like dark brown than green. I haven't used the pack yet so I cannot comment about any of its uses yet.

We bought one of these for my son since he is hard on things and this had good reviews and the lifetime warranty. In just a couple years usage there is a large hole in the bottom right corner of the backpack (see the included image). The north face "lifetime" warranty is a JOKE once you read the fine print. Doesn't cover normal wear and tear, how I am supposed to know if this product failure was due to normal wear & tear or a manufacturer's defect You have to pay shipping both ways, and even have to clean the item before sending it for warranty service. Who is going to clean a back pack?
