Very comfortable shoe. Sole easily removable to add orthotics. Fit is just right determined by width. Extremely comfortable.

If you are on your feet and need to be dressed in style, you just found your shoe. These Allen-Edmonds far exceeded my comfort expectations. I would recommend them to anyone on the go. The size was true...order with confidence.

Upon opening the box we were impressed with how beautiful the shoes were. They came in cloth bags which were a nice touch. The shoes are a size 14 - which is what my son wears. He said they were very comfortable upon his first wear - no need to break in. My son loves these shoes. They are extremely comfortable, feel true to size and a great looking shoe. He wears them as much as he can.

The Allen Edmonds LGA shoe is one great looking and feeling shoe! They are the perfect work shoe that isn't too dressy and not too casual. Great for business casual work environment. They are a little "noisy" - likely from the newness of the leather. I really hope they break in and aren't quite so squeaky because my husband really loves these shoes!

These are beautiful shoes that quickly became one of my favorites to wear with jeans. I got the awesome walnut color version in 10½D which ran a tad narrow but was broken in quickly. This was my third pair of Allen Edmonds shoes. Fantastic quality shoes with great value. Plus as always with Zappos you get outstanding customer service and free shipping both ways.

I felt instant comfort when I put the Allen Edmonds Road Warrior shoe on. I really like the wing tip design. As far as fit, wearing a tie shoe is not common attire these days. I have a high instep, and did feel some discomfort, keeping in mind I have only worn the shoe one day. The color, which is camel was great, and size 9M was perfect.

These shoes run true to size and are amazingly comfortable for a dress shoe. I have always wanted a shoe like this and am amazed that it just showed up from Zappos! Can't thank you enough. I will recommend this shoe to friends and family without a moment's hesitation.

I love this pair of Allen Edmonds! I am on my feet all day and needed something more comfortable to wear. This shoe is the most comfortable pair of Allen Edmonds I now own. They are lightweight and keep my feet warm in the cold weather and look great with my suits. I am also happy to know I can recraft these when they start to look rough from all the wear. Great shoes!

“Incredibly comfortable and lightweight dress shoe. Perfect for when I’m flying for work/travel or when I’m in poor weather conditions. When I’m on my feet all day or when my commute is going to be really long, I’m going to wear these. Probably not my go to shoe for a suit and wouldn’t take the place of my dressier Strands, but a great shoe for travel.”

I purchased this shoe because I like the walnut color in Allen Edmonds, and I have several pair of walnut Allen Edmonds shoes. Finding the right fit in this shoe due to the insole was a bit of a challenge but overall I am very happy with my choice. These are great for work and also you can wear them with jeans for a night out or a causal look.

They're handsome shoes but a little plain looking. A grainier, more textured leather would've been nice and I don't love contrasted, black outsoles with brown shoes but if that's the compromise for the comfort of these shoes it's worth it.

This is a nice-looking shoe. My husband and I both liked the color of the shoe, which is a rich tan, cognac color. The sole of the shoe is rubber and not a leather or wood sole which took away from the look to me and made it more of a casual-Friday shoe. My husband, who normally wears a 12 said that he would need a larger size as the shoe was tight across the foot; says it felt a little narrow.

The Allen-Edmonds LGA shoe looked really nice straight out of the box. The shoe size are size 10.5. These tend to run a little bit larger for a 10.5. Overall the shoes looked very professional and is comfortable. I am very tough on shoes and these shoes have held up over the first few days of wearing them. I found that the Allen-Edmonds LGA fit nicely and did not need the "breaking in" process. I am a little confused on what polish to use.

The shoes are OK. I expected them to be considerably more substantial and massive. The leather is very similar to a pair of shoes I got from Lands End 25 years ago. The shoes are fine, but did not meet the high expectations I had for my first pair of Allen Edmonds shoes.

There was a lot of hype surrounding the "Road Warriors" and the super lightweight shoes on the 511G last. I was really skeptical about this whole thing and finally decided to try one on so I could decide for myself.
I can preface this by saying I love my double oak soled and mini-lug soled shoes the best - I wear them during my normal work week and on weekends too. I wouldn't hesitate choosing a McTavish over a Maritime on Saturday. Having said that, I couldn't believe how light and bouncy the 511G last with the gumlite sole felt - I'm sure people would disagree, but to me it just felt really unsupportive and just plain...cheap. As in not what I would expect from AE. I get it - they are trying to branch out and do something new, but to me, I wouldn't have even known these were produced by AE unless I was specifically told. Not up to par.
I'm not a fan of the 511 last and the 511G was no exception. The 511 & 511G sort of fit on the shorter side, the G includes the fatigue fighter orthotic which takes up room.

I think Allen-Edmonds missed the mark. Pros: Great Looking Leather, Soft Sole. Cons: 1) Tight Across the Arch, 2) My Feet became very Hot in these Shoes just Walking around the House Testing Them Out! 2) They have Changed the Shoe from their Classic Design, the Toe Box is Long, but not Useful - Just made the Shoes appear Longer. No help to the wearer. I was excited they introduced a soft sole shoe, but I think they failed.
