The design is not truly presented. There is no arch support and the sole padding barely exists. This is missing a decent heel cup and the ball area is like concrete. The tongue sticks up at least two inches when the boot it tied and looks like something from the 80s.

The company I am employed with mandated safety shoes. Zappos was the site we were to go with to pick out the shoes. Due to my size 8W, styles and selection were limited. Choosing this boot had to be done on-line and I personally hate doing this because I normally try the boot before I purchased but that wasn’t a choice. The pair I choose which was my sixth choice and I’m not happy with them. The tongue of the boot is very thick and uncomfortable and no matter how much I adjust it , it’s still uncomfortable . I would like to see if I can exchange and obtain a safety shoe I would be happy with.

Three months after I bought these one of the teeth on the zipper broke off so I returned them, a little over a month after the zipper on my replacement pair broke. I don't recommend if you want your boots to last more then 3 months

Several things wrong with this boot. One, the material is rather rigid and chafes the upper ankle. Two, there is a raised insert in the heel that is not quite large enough to cradle my heel, and in fact painfully digs into it. It also has just enough give to allow the back of my heel to chafe on the inside of the boot, and is just rigid enough to feel like a rock digging into my foot. Three, they are uncomfortably heavy and make driving difficult, and tire you noticeably when walking. As far as shoes go, it's more of a sabaton than a boot. It'll protect you, but it'll hurt the whole time. I couldn't be more relieved to take them off after work.
